I brought in an antique photo of my great-grandparents that's been framed for the past 101 years. After removing it from the frame, I was surprised how sturdy it was after all this time. Anyhow, I wanted to scan the photo to add to my family's digital file. I needed the 'large' scanner because the 'flat' scanner only scans images up to 11" x 17" in size. The 'large' scanner has two rollers that feed the photo into the scanning mechanism. This is where things went wrong. I should note: the gentleman working there was very nice and warned me that the photo 'may not make it' and he was absolutely correct. The machine tore my 101-year-old photo in two places. Not in the center, but it was still damaged. I got home and re-framed the photo; the damage isn't super noticeable but it is definitely there. When I opened the JPG file from my flash drive: it did not even scan the entire photo! This may be the machine's fault, or it may be the nice gentleman's fault for trying to grab the photo to 'save' it from the machine; or a combination of both. Needed something printed in a pinch on a Saturday. After emailing printandgo, I called and followed up with this Print Center (since they had a photo printer) and Paul helped me immensely. Within 3-4 hours, I had my job finished and printed and ready to go for pickup. Clutch for a weekend turnaround and the pricing was relatively competitive as well. I think the self-serve can be hit or miss, depending on your needs, but if the right staff member is there - this location can be great. The photo printer is fantastic and it's great they have photo paper to print things out on! read more

I was here about 2 weeks ago to mail a portrait. I had boxed it, but the employee indicted I'd need more fill. So happily, he was able to provide that. He also looked up the address it was going to and made sure it was correct. Very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the mailing. I thought it would be much more. It also arrived 2 days ahead of what they told me it would. This location has easy parking and good Covid restrictions. 3 stars for this large chain. I've needed a few things printed lately and for someone who doesn't have a printer at home I've found Fedex to be the cheapest and most convenient place to grab my copies. Their online ordering is easy and pick up was convenient. I needed to print a few shipping labels and paid 49¢ each and they were ready by the next morning. I will likely continue to use them especially since they are so close to home. read more

I have used this location quite a lot for printing jobs of various sizes. Everything from quickly needing to print a resume on my way to an interview, to hundreds of pages in the form of fliers or dissertation drafts. It's fair to say that you will have a different experience depending on the time of day. Anything around lunchtime and you should expect a wait. Not typically a long wait. But at least a few minutes. There are self-service machines that are mostly intuitive that you can use. However, be aware that if you have any kind of discounts you will need to ask in advance because you can't enter it into the machine (for example, a student discount). The self-service machines are generally reliable. It's not often that I go in and one isn't working. The print quality is also good. For complicated jobs, the staff members are always willing to help you. You can also get jobs printed at the counter. It's easy to use discounts when you print this way. In general, their printandgo@fedex.com option is super convenient. Email your docs and they will send you back a print code so you don't need a thumb drive. You can also print from Dropbox but that can be a pain. I've had issues trying to enter my DB password and navigate through folders. Definitely an option though. On the whole, reliable and convenient. read more

I've used this place half a dozen times in the last month for various printing and faxing tasks. The staff's usually very nice and helpful, and I love that this location is a) 24 hours b) mostly self-service. So, you can just bring your credit card, pop it into a computer, copy or fax station, and get your stuff done. No need to wait in line ... unless you're mailing something. Then, you will wait for a long time and pay extra for what you need to ship. If that's all you gotta do, you're better off using the post office (and there's one right around the corner at 5500 North Bailey, as well as a 24-hour post office in Cheektowaga they can tell you about, too, at 285 Cayuga Rd). read more

Located on a main road in a shopping plaza. Close proximity to restaurants as well as the Boulevard Mall. Decent location to send/receive faxes, use computers or put in a print order. The staff does a pretty good job with the orders they receive in terms of fliers, posters, etc. Prices are reasonable and service is relatively prompt. read more

It is a great as long as they aren't busy. If they are busy who knows when you will get help. I came in late one night right before closing and one of the workers was willing to stay until the job was done right. A little tip Don't use the copier closest to the entrance. read more

Needed to print for a project/event last minute and this place was THE place to go! Ken and Shawn were very helpful when I walked in. They have a self service (self-print) station and work-order pick up where you can send in items to be printed. I used the self-print station to print one copy of what I needed to print... full color and the printer wasn't calibrated right (one of the biggest downsides since it left the piece discolored...). However, they were able to reprint it in the back from my USB drive and it came out GREAT! They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and convenient. Will re-visit for future print orders! read more

I'm helping my tattoo artist get ready for the art festival this weekend. Part of that includes having his pen and inks scanned to a cruiser, so if he sells the original he can always make prints. So yesterday, we (his daughter and I) go to Office Max, we have 24 pen and inks scanned. Except. The employee, Nick, I think they said his name was, scanned them as PDF files, which are useless to a piece of art. And somehow, in the process, "moved or deleted" 32 other files. So my artist went out and bought a whole new cruiser, so Round 2 didn't end up deleting more files, and fished out the 32 pen and inks we needed to scan again, and this time, his wife and I went to Office Max. We told them what happened, and all of a sudden they couldn't scan his art because of the "sexual nature." We've been going there for years. Let me start by saying, generally speaking, his art is not sexual. He is, among other things, a horror artist. There is nudity in his art. Nudity is not sexual in nature. The manager, and then store manager, didn't look at the context of his art before they declared it sexual. It was THEM that sexualized the nudity in his art. The store manager, when he finally, and reluctantly, agreed to rescan the art for us, opened the box of deleted files, picked up a piece that is in fact sexual, turned to me and said, "This seems sexual to me" or something like that, to which I informed him, that was something they scanned for us last year. They went out of their way to not help us after they destroyed our files and wasted our money. Yes, they finally helped. They told us there was no way they could get it finished tonight, with 5ish hours until close. We need to be ready to set up by 7am tomorrow morning. We called FedEx before leaving the store, spoke to a guy name Johnny. He said they could do what they could, based on how many pen and inks we thought we had, (at this point we had not counted the pen and inks that needed to be rescanned) and to come on in. So we found the store manager and got my artist's art back. FedEx was busier, with less help. Still, they were respectful of us, and didn't make any judgments of his art as they looked at it, just talked with us about what we needed. They were patient as his wife called him because they couldn't scan the file type he wanted, and we figured out an alternative. They even called us when they started it, because the guy working (maybe Johnny?) had tried two different file types, and found that one of the ones we rejected actually gave better results, you got more detail. We paid twice to have the same 56 artworks scanned. FedEx had it done in two hours, and now our art show preparations are back on track. Office Max, zero stars. FedEx, 173 stars. read more

This shipping center is open 24/7 which is so convenient for anyone needing to print last minute or get a fax through at any hour. It is a pretty busy place, however. I have found myself waiting quite a while standing on line to use their fax machine, they only have two. One note about their fax machines, they are self serve and you have to insert a credit card in before you begin the process. Don't forget to take your credit card with you before you walk away from the machine. The three times I have been here, someone has always left a card in the machine when I've gone to use their fax. They have a computer accessible for people to go online and print whatever you need. Whenever I come here it seems like they have a lot of staff working but the two most recent times I came here I found myself standing at the counter, looking around aimlessly for someone to help me send a package. Other employees saw me standing there but it took quite a while to receive assistance. Once someone did come over, however, they helped me ensure everything was properly sent. Definitely not cheap though, $15 for a two day delivery for a piece of paper, yikes. I guess there's always going to be a price to pay for waiting until the last minute... read more

Anything to do with printing or converting files, and you might as well be asking a three year old. My usual trips to The Print and Ship Center usually end up with a lot of begging and a desperate tone, several quavering octaves higher than usual. But that's besides the point. These guys know how to do it all, so I always feel comfortable going in and asking questions. Recently, I went in there to take care of some of my application requirements and they didn't blink an eye at my request, they just scurried off and did it. Last summer I printed out a manual that was 200+ pages. It was a hefty job and cost me half an arm. So although printing at a print shop is the best option, depending on the job, make sure you're prepared for the expense. Two things: 1) They're not always friendly and 2) I've never seen a woman employed here (at the front counter, at the very least). Maybe that's my memory serving me incorrectly but I can't remember a time where I've ever interacted with a woman. I've been coming here for years when my father needed prints for his business, so you'd think I'd remember but I really don't. In fact, the staff don't really change. I've had the same interactions with the same people on multiple occasions. It's a good thing and bad thing; you don't see change, ever, but the ones that have been around for awhile really know what they're doing. And as a person who really doesn't know what she's doing, I'll take all the advice I can get. read more

Don't go here. I saw the bad reviews and thought I'd give them a chance. They bombed. 3 printers didn't work, so old that they were making cut marks in the paper. And then they still made me pay for it. Called 5 days ago to speak with the manager, still no call back. Don't give them a second chance. This place is poorly managed. read more

I waited in line for like 8 minutes I was going to go up to the only worker behind the desk but he kept leaving to go click on this other computer and then back to the original one and just going back and forth. I'm pretty patient but I literally was only there to pick up a piece of standard paper that I ordered to be printed out. The person in front of me wasn't even being helped so it was just weird.... dead silence while this one worker keeps going back and forth and not acknowledging anyone... finally this other worker comes from the back nonchalant and takes the guy in front of me he just had a simple question to ask and then left. Then I said I'm just here to pick up a piece of paper and then the original guy was like "oh I'm sorry I thought you were together" I ignore it cuz I really don't care for your excuse you didn't help him and we didn't even walk in together and I'm like nine feet away from the guy??? How does it seem like we're together? Then he repeats himself and I tell him I was very far away from him no we weren't together... all he can say is "well...." WELL WHAT? FINISH YOUR THOUGHT!! Don't assume shit you didn't even help the guy you didn't even give us eye contact you ignored us until your coworker came out. Ten minutes to receive a piece of paper. You love to see it. read more

I've never been a fan of FedEx, maybe it's because my uncle works for UPS, but I've never had the problems I have had encountered with Fedex when I utilize UPS. This location has been the worst one I have been to yet. I was driving by and remembered I to return a broken Brita Water Pitcher that's been sitting in my trunk for the past couple of days and figured I'd finally send it back to Walmart. They wouldn't accept it because the same exact box and packaging that they sent it to me in was not acceptable to ship back. The old man who came over to me was very rude and told me I would have to pay over 6 dollars for them to "repackage" it and then they would accept the package. I'm not even paying for the return shipping, Walmart is, so why would I spend 6 dollars to repackage a broken item. Told them I would just go to my usual store and the man said that it was "company policy". Not sure if I believe that since the store on Sheridan Drive accepted it without a problem. read more

Staff is lazy and slow. The head loser, Tony, flopped a tape dispenser on my large fedex box I purchased and declined to help me tape it shut (it had down pillows inside and it was difficult to hold down the flaps while taping it myself). After I had struggled through it alone, a line had formed so I got to wait a second time. Thank god lazy Tony had to go on break right when it was my turn again and a different person finished the transaction. Only go here if you have to.
