Originally, this was going to be a 1 star review, but my lack of satisfaction is not the FedEx Shipping Center. I was supposed to receive a delivery via FedEx to my office last Wednesday or Thursday. Nothing. I received the tracking number Monday and when looking at it online I was shocked to see there were delivery attempts at least 4 times between Thursday, Friday and Monday but unsuccessful because my business was "closed"---that was untrue on all delivery times except for one as I was at office on all delivery times except for one --Thursday at 6:30 pm or so , I was not in the office. Anyway, in looking at the tracking number online Monday afternoon it indicated delivery could be picked up at the FedEx center at 6:00 pm so I left my office at 6:30 pm and arrived at the FedEx center at 6:50 pm or so---well, the center's open until only 6:30 pm.--shocked me but okay. Not happy but decided I was late so I would return today---I did so shortly before 11:00 am and the letter was not there because it was out for delivery! I was told I could return after 6:00 pm....i was in my vehicle trying to decide what's next and not very happy when the FedEx centers lady who spoke me walked out and told me to wait---that she was trying to call the driver ---she did so and shortly thereafter informed me that the driver could drop off the letter at a Kinkos/FedEx near my office --that was suitable to me and I received my letter this afternoon when I went there. Thus, while I am unhappy and not satisfied as I had to do a lot to get a letter which was supposed to have been delivered to me 5 days ago, I must say that I am deeply appreciative of the FedEx center young lady who worked to solve the issue and problem in a satisfactory manner---and did so. This the 4 star review--she should get 5 stars but I cannot do that as I was in my office Thursday and Friday and Monday at the stated delivery times but no one knocked on our office door or window so 4 stars. And another thank you to the FedEx center and the helpful worker. read more

I'm a cancer patient. Medicine was supposed to be delivered to my home in the Zachary area today. I received an email saying that it was delivered at 1:06 pm. No it was not delivered! This is very expensive and dangerous medicine. It requires a signature. Apparently, the delivery person forged my signature. That's not the first time this has happened! I've explained to a delivery person the importance of them doing their job correctly. Seems like they don't care to listen! Pathetic! read more

i have been waiting on a package for over a week. On 06/19 they left a vm stating that the address was incorrect on my package, I verifed that the address was not incorrect. The address listed on the package was indeed my correct address, even gave specific instructions on where it was located, they told me it would be delivered on the next morning. 06/20, im waiting in my living room so I can see them when the pull up, its now mid-afternoon and still no package so I check the tracking and to my surprise they have marked the address on my package incorrect yet again. So i contact fedex again, and this time talk to a supervisor who once again puts in a note for the driver and tells me my package will be delivered the next morning. The next morning I'm sitting in my living room again waiting for the package. I am periodically checking the tracking. At 10 oclock my package is gets marked "refused by recipient-not ordered," yet no one ever attempted to deliver the package ( I have a camera on my front door, as well as big black 4 in numbers with my home address). I contacted fedex again and they say that there is nothing they can do and I need to contact the sender to have them re-attempt delivery of MY package. read more

I love this Fed Ex Ship Center location. The staff is super nice, polite and helpful and knowledgeable. I always have my packages held for pick up at this location. I go pick up anytime after 10AM AND ITS SO EASY. I have had packages shipped my home but it was such a hassle the drivers were always dropping my stuff off at the address and saying it was delivered to me so now I just have everything held at this location. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! A package was shipped to me over two months ago and it has been sitting at the local depot for 27 DAYS. When I check the tracking number it says "DAMAGED - awaiting disposition", but when you call the toll free number and actually TRY To talk to a human, you're put on hold for over an hour (after it taking 10 minutes to get through the MADDENING "Press 3 for... Press 2 for...." !!!) Someone posted the local number for the FedEx depot online and when I called the lady that answered was abusive and rude and kept on interrupting me and telling me to "try the customer service toll-free number!" and then hung up on me. They'll blame that on Covid, I'm sure!!! read more

I ordered a package to be delivered. I received a notification that the package would be delivered today. Two days has passed by and still no package. The last info on my package is that is it was loaded on a truck for delivery My package has been riding around Baton Rouge for days now. Never using FedEx again. Tried three times to schedule a pickup. Was told that no one was there. Its an office, there is always someone there. Each time, instead of trying again, I had to cancel the shipment and make a new shipping label. Then they did not show up once again. I just can't say enough about how incompetent Fedex is. Their staffing level is the poorest I've seen. No wonder you hear the employees constantly say how they are getting ready to quit. You hear people talking in the back but the only person out front has to go back and retrieve the packages themselves while the line of customers just waits. Disgusting. read more

I am an artist living and working in los angeles. Got invited to show at the baton rouge museum of contemporary art. Packed 2 of my most important works and shipped via fed ex on the 10th of December. Tracking shows they made it all the way to Baton Rouge and was on a truck out for delivery on the 14th of December, then .... absolutely nothing, it just disappeared... f*#! u fed ex.. your crap service cost me a huge opportunity as well as years of my life that went in to making this work.... read more

The classic "delivery attempt was made". Clearly delivery driver didn't feel like climbing to the 3rd floor to find my door since we were home whenever the "attempt was made". When tracking package, it said pending to be delivered next business day. Package still not delivered after 3 more business days and the package was food. Enjoy the rotting food package. read more

FedEx is trash. I've been trying to get a package for almost two weeks now. Was supposed to be delivered to my office and they said there wasn't an apartment number on it and to have it delivered to my office so would have to have the shipper call them. After days of that there was a delivery "attempt" where nobody tried to make bring anything to the office but the tracking updates kept saying they did. The one day somebody actually came to the door was at 7PM when we close at 5. So I end up trying to go to the center to pick it up myself because they must enjoy having my package ride shotgun and have to wait for driver to show up. I travel all over the country and I utilize Fedex shipping a lot. I've never encounter worse customer service at least location. The clerk was pleasant but needs additional training. I have an account so usually I drop off my items with my account and shipping information. It is packed and shipped for me. Not at this location! Very inconvenient and waste of my time. read more

I haven't been in there one time where the ladies working up front were friendly. They feel they can act and say what they want. If it was my choice on return packaging or order that use fedex I would go with another carrier. They should be ashamed for the way they behave. This place may be large a can suit a variety of shipping needs, but if you're looking for customer service and cheap prices, this is NOT the place to go. A friendly greeting would be nice. A greeting period would be nice. Certainly not compassionate when you realize you package isn't prepaid return, and don't expect them to find the cheapest way to send back. Just like the first review, I was expecting and needing delivery today. Tracking showed a "Delivery Exception" with the reason of: 1. No attempt made, delivery scheduled for next business day. Great. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! NEVER EVER EVER use Fedex. Took off of work to make sure I was here for a very important package I had shipped overnight. Didn't even attempt to get into my apartment complex. Scanned package customer not available. No note on my door. Obviously, THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT! Called the 1-800 number. Talked to a guy that said they would get in contact with the driver. The guy told me the driver would attempt to deliver again in an hour. Called back after an hour and asked for a supervisor. After been given the run around and put on hold SEVERAL times, all she could say was they won't be able to attempt the delivery again because the driver will be late. HOW IS THAT MY FAULT?!?Now I have to drive across town to sit there and wait for the driver to get back with my package before they close at 7! This is the most inconvenience I've ever had with FedEx, and EVERY SINGLE TIME FEDEX DELIVERS SOMETHING ITS SIMILAR TO THIS EXACT EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE company. Just FYI, USPS is HALF THE PRICE, and if you have a signature required package, at least it's in the same zip code to go pick it up and you don't have to drive across town to get it. Horrible customer service- wish I could give them 0 stars They were very inconsiderate, online tracking and phone tracking were wrong - stated out for delivery and when I called them, the rep said yes you should get it by 8pm however, when I insisted they please check to ensure the package was on the truck they realized and said oops it's at the home office... Waited all day for a delivery and when I followed up on their tracking tool, The system showed they had made an attempt an hour earlier. They hadn't, but by then the location was closed. This place has the absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. The only guy I've seen working the counter is a jerk, and it's perpetually understaffed. This is my 4th time here. Currently a line of 5 customers, and not one has seen a FedEx employee yet. They're all in the back not helping customers. James Sanders is the name of the guy that is usually working the counter. He is lazy, self-centered, and has never once done anything to actually help a customer. His inability to handle packages resulted in my finger getting smashed by a box. read more

Major delivery problems. Once my package was delivered to a neighbor's house - she didn't notice until after giving the required signature that it wasn't addressed to her! Lucky for me she was kind enough to bring it over. A second time, a package was left on my doorstep that was addressed to a house over two blocks away - again, lucky that I cared enough to re-deliver the infant car seat that had been left at my house. The last straw was yesterday as I sat home waiting for the delivery, I saw the truck drive straight by my house without stopping, then a few minutes later the tracking updated to say I was not home and the package couldn't be delivered. Worst shipper in existence, coming in far behind the snail mail USPS. Driver seemingly just tossed an empty door tag from the vehicle about mid driveway. Now I have to drive 20 miles to their God forsaken warehouse and sit on my ass until this driver decides to get back between 7-8pm. Or I can shut down my business for a day and wait at home for a package that I need to stay operational. Do yourself a huge favor and ship/receive UPS or USPS and get your packages. read more

I had an overnight shipment for my replaced phone because my old one was completely broken. FedEx was supposed to drop it off to my apartment around 2-3pm. I called the FedEx Customer Service to clarify this. Right after I got off the phone with them, I checked my account again to find out that my package was not delivered because "no one was home to sign for the package." I was in my apartment all day waiting for my phone before I could leave to go anywhere. The man I spoke to on the phone did not inform me of this as he was looking at my account. Moreover, he was rude and unwilling to answer my questions. This proved to me the kind of customer service they demand with their company. With that being said, FedEx never even entered my apartment complex nor did they leave a note on the door like their website said the driver did. I now have to travel 40 minutes to their location to pick up my package because of THEIR MISHAP. I will NEVER ship with FedEx again. read more

Just use UPS, I repeated JUST USE UPS! I stay in a gated community, I have never had any problems with UPS, USPS, hell even local emergency services getting into the gate. Called FedEx to see why it said my package was attempted to be delivered and it wasn't. I stay in the front of the building complex my apartment is not even in the gate, all the driver had to do was pull to the side and walk to my apartment. I know he didn't even do this simply because I have a birds eye view from apartment window. I did not see a FedEx truck attempted to drive up this drive way. I got up extra early just to make sure I received my package on time. This is so incompetent!! Called the Call center told her my situation, and she told me we don't deliver to gated communities. It took everything within me not to curse her out. Why don't y'all give this disclaimer before people choose you as a shipping option. Then she had the nerve to say we can attempted again, I was like "ma'am, what part don't you understand of it'll be the same result. Ordered something of Amazon Prime. Package was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. Tracking showed out for delivery on Saturday. Then at 5:00 pm I get an email from Amazon saying that delivery was attempted but business was closed and that fedex will try again on the next business day. For one this was going to a residential address not a business. We were home at 4:48 pm which was what time the driver put down for an attempted delivery time. Also, the driver said that they left a door tag and there was no door tag anywhere on the property. This was not even an item that required a signature so it could have just been left at the door. Called to find out if I could go pick it up and of course was told that the facility closed at 5pm and would not reopen until Tuesday! Was also told by the rep on the phone that it was not FedEx's fault that my package was not delivered on time. Made a complaint with manager from call center and was told I would get a call back first thing Tuesday morning still no call. Sounds like this location has a lot of problems with customer service and drivers not wanting to do their jobs! Use UPS over this nightmare! read more
