They ALWAYS try delivering to my leasing office instead of my apartment and then just leave when they can't deliver it there with my package! I have signed up for a Fedex account and left a permanent note on the delivery manager telling all drivers at their warehouse to never try delivering to my leasing office and they still do. They are just too lazy to go up to the 3rd floor even on small packages. USPS, UPS, and Amazon Prime Delivery always find my apartment easy but these guys are too lazy or dumb to figure it out. WHAT A JOKE! You call your company a "delivery service" Fedex? Boyfriend needed to get a package to Taiwan, pronto, so we headed here after the post office said they couldn't do it in the time needed. Located on a tiny industrial street off of Placentia, it's pretty hard to miss since there are several large FedEx trucks parked out front. If you drive wee bit past the trucks, you see a lot with ample parking space for customers. Staff was ok, neither rude nor pleasant.. maybe apathetic is the word. Whatever, we just needed a package shipped, we weren't looking to make new friends I guess. I like that this location is smaller and it's not connected to a Fed Ex office. The Office locations you always have to wait for an employee bc they are often doing other things like printing, etc. I drop off packages here several times a week. Sometimes they already have labels, sometimes I need the girls to print one out for me. Never had a problem. I don't mind waiting in line here, the girls are always upbeat and friendly, unlike waiting at the Post Office where all the employees look like their hate their life. The internet says they are open 24 hours. They are not. I was locked out by chain link and barbed wire surrounding their entire Lambert Road warehouse, like a concentration camp. i lived in Anaheim going on 3 years.. fed ex fullerton is my closest distribution center. Every single time i have a fed ex delivery its a failed attempt! not one time has fed ex successfully delivered!!! i can count at least 4x on the top of my head but before i wrote a review saying how incompetent or maybe over worked this center is i wanted to test it. So, i had a scheduled delivery sat 01/09 perfect, i was off. I left my door OPEN with the screen door ajar ALL DAY! i even went to the restroom w the door open. (tmi) it first went from delivery by 430 to "by end of day" i also got door dash so i made sure i never left... i was determined....by 7 i was in the living room watching tv checking the outside every 20 mins...at 9 o clock i check tracking, FAILED ATTEMPT at 845 which i know they drive up to 9 o clock. Customer service: Was able to reach customer service a few days ago and follow up was great. Reps were helpful, apologetic, polite, helped track packages. Explained what was going on, re-opened case to help with the delivery process and was told they'd contact me for near updates. I received 2 of my packages the next following days. Still waiting for 1 however. Going to contact sender to re-send and keep my fingers crossed for this one. Other issue/heads up: FedEx Fullerton location in particular is very backed up with deliveries especially e-commerce orders. You can either pick them up (need to call and hold first) or have them figure things out to be delivered to you again (could be due to particular customer's situation; have tracking #s w/ you). Packages are only eligible to be picked up if they are out of containers and sorted out but until then recipients have to wait on packages either to be sorted or delivered to their address. Overall it seems there's a systematic issue at this location or something. I don't think it's just bc of COVID-19 bc it seems there have been customer concerns/complaints for years at this location. Covid seems to just delay things even more since many people are resorting to online shopping etc. Unfortunately it is what it is. Don't wait to contact customer service if your package is a day late. Don't wait. Call to see what's going on so they can re-track, keep an eye on it, and help solve your problem. Ordered a package with expressed shipping due to my urgency of needing the item by a certain day. When the package tracking said it left the facility and was in route to my house. I stayed home all day waiting. Later in the day, My dad was outside washing his car and saw the truck come down our street, made a loop and then turned around and left our neighborhood. When I checked my app for tracking 2 mins later it said delivery attempted. When in reality. The truck just drove past my house. Now it's Memorial Day weekend and the shipping facility is closed so I can't go pick it up. Basically my expressed shipping and urgency on receiving the package is irrelevant and I'll receive it 4 days late. Calling the facility and dealing with customer service was horrendous. The automated robot receptionist was one of the worst I had ever dealt with and a frustrating 30 mins later when I talked to an actual person. I had to pick up a package that I missed. When I came here, it looked like a slow day. Hardly anyone was there. That was my first surprise thinking it would be a longer line. The lady that helped me looked like she did not want to be there. But the least she could have done was be nice and courteous since they did not look like they were rushed or busy whatsoever. There wasn't anyone else in line anyway at the time she helped me either. After I was done signing my package, I wasn't sure what to do next if I was suppose to receive a slip or something. There was a little awkward pause. Then she just said "OK thank you" in the most shooed off way. And when I said, "Thank you, have a great day," she said, "Mhmm." Look I get it, it's not the most fun job or exciting job, but please FedEx, have some better customer service. Fedex has always been the worst delivery service in my experience but this location takes it to another level. My package was due to be delivered on Friday and was out for delivery in their trucks but was taken back and not delivered for some reason. I waited all day for it and was disappointed to see the delivery wasn't coming. When I checked the status, it stated that it had a Delivery exception. Usually you get that when there is a problem with the package. I called customer service and asked why there was a delivery exception for my package. The customer rep wouldn't give me a straight answer and told me to check with the shipper. They they told me that I would receive it the next business day and it has already been 3 days but every time I check the tracking, the date keeps getting pushed back more and more. Completely useless customer service reps and repeated late delivers makes Fedex literally the worst delivery company I have ever used. read more

I think employees who deliver packages for the Fed EX in Fullerton are stealing our packages. I have had problems before with them supposedly losing my packages but now it is even worse. This time they kept saying out for delivery for days then no update for delivery and when I called them they assured me it was on the next days truck. It never showed up. I had to call the company I purchased it from and they verified with the tracking that I never received it. They immediately sent me out a replacement. Fed Ex did the same thing with the replacement. The are saying out for delivery, only they never deliver it and then no scheduled delivery date. Fed Ex out of Fullerton has stolen the original and now the replacement. I contacted the store I purchased it from again, and they are sending me out a third replacement. I asked them to please ship it with someone else, otherwise fed ex will just steal this package also. They are shipping it with the Post office this time. I am now adding more to this review on 8/14/20. This time it is multiple packages from another store. Once again my packages went out on a delivery truck out of Fullerton and disappeared before they ever made it to my house. This time it is 5 different packages with 5 different tracking number. All FIVE of them never made it to my house. This is along with my previous packages that have gone missing as soon as they go out on a truck for delivery out of the Fullerton Fed Ex yard. read more

FedEx has consistently delayed delivery for perishable items. The most recently delayed a perishable food shipment by 2 days. It was in the delivery city on time. Another time flowers were marked as on a truck ready for delivery for 3 days. The flowers were brown and dead when they were finally delivered. They also make it difficult to get to customer service. Fed Ex through aafees (military base exchange) SUCKS!!! they delivered two broken t.v.'s (screen). When asked about picking up the two damaged t.v.s they had said they've been here four times to pick up the TVs yet never made an appointment and in our home we have a 94 year old bed ridden person theres always some one here 24/7. We also have a door video monitor not once did they ring the door bell, we offered to send them a copy of our 24/7 video on the days they claim they rang our door bell. I don't know why this shipping facility has no problem with delivering the frankly unimportant stuff my mom orders through catalogs to our apartment, yet always makes a "delivery exception" when it comes to the important stuff I've tried to have shipped to our address. Methinks it can't be because they're lazy, since they're willing to deliver the other stuff (which is also usually bigger and bulky than my stuff). And every time I've been told that the stuff I've had shipped to me does not require a signature and could just be left at the door with no problem. This last time I was particularly frustrated, as I was having a new credit card shipped to me after the old one was closed out because of fraud, so I was already dealing with that stress. When I asked the girl behind the counter was the issue was, she asked if I lived in a gated community and I answered in the affirmative. I pointed out, however, the fact that the gate only requires a universal gate opener, which UPS and USPS both have and have utilized to get into our place with no issue. Plus, how does this explain the fact that they've delivered my mom's stuff with no problem? The girl just shrugged her shoulders. Ugh. My review is not for this particular shipping center, but the entire FedEx system. I am having a pair of tires shipped to me from New York. Tire was picked up on the day before NYE(12/29). For some reason, the transportation was delayed and it cant meet the original estimated arrival date. I called FedEx and got a lady handled my call very professionally. She said she will put in a request for me and they will have someone to call me in 24 hrs. Since I just had a terrible experience with AT&T. I wasnt having my hope up with these big company's "request system". But miracle happened, I called FedEx around 9:30am in the morning, got a call back around noon and telling me my shipment will be here today or tomorrow. Now it's 5:43pm, they even updated my online tracking notification. This just shows that they can do a decent service when they try. read more

I ordered an item that was a gift and the shipper sent it out on time but wh en it arrived in Fullerton Center and I live in Anaheim it 6 days to arrive and it was delivered at 11:30 PM!!! I was already asleep! Received a phone call at that time and I don't answer phone calls unless its a family emergency after 9 PM!! Person called again and it was a male that was whispering that he was delivering a package and could I help him find my unit. Well I'm 66 years old and no matter what age I wasn't going to open the door for anyone at that time of the night. Someone came and knocked on the door my dog was barking and I just yelled and said "Just leave the package at the door" No one or delivery company should be delivering at that time of the night. I called FedEx this morning and the girl that answered when I was transferred to Customer Service was rude and didn't know what to do. When I asked for her name she hung up! I was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with Fullerton FedEx deliveries where the service states Package Out For Delivery and doesn't show up and each day says the same thing and never shows up! I was also trying to pick it up from the FedEx location but no one or information on how to do that as an option. If FedEx is making deliveries and having your drivers work making them work that late on deliveries that is wrong and deliver next morning at a descent time. This is not the only time I have had deliveries go wrong and it item returned to shipper instead of calling to confirm address or let me pick it up and it stayed at their center 10 days until it was returned to shipper. I refused the package since Fed Ex had destroyed it, and asked why they would deliver it to me since they had clearly ruined the item. The driver just said he didn't do it. Came here to drop off a package. Facility is neat, organized. Plenty of parking out front. Staff was not particularly attentive. They saw me waiting out in the front (they were behind a door in the employee only section) and did not acknowledge me after making eye contact.
