Gainesville FEDEX has horrible Express Service! My new PC arrived at the Gainesville hub at 930 AM today with Standard Overnight delivery. Expected delivery around 10:30 am today. We've waited 12.5 hours and it has not arrived. It's now past 10 pm. We literally spent the whole entire frigging day waiting at our house for this FEDEX OVERNIGHT parcel. Called 1800-GO-FEDEX around 930, which routed me over the worst imaginable "every other word" garbled VOIP line to FEDEX Support - INDIA. We could barely understand each other, and they were no help at all. I spent another hour trying to find out wwhere my PC is. Best I can determine is that it arrived at the GNV FEDEX center at zip 32609. I wish I lived closer, so I could drive over to that office, which is way on the other side of town, and let their manager know what I think about their service issues. Unbelievable. Unbelievable! I ordered a very expensive bike it was to be delivered Friday May 30 . Next day Saturday May 31 the driver attempted to deliver the package but didn't give anyone a chance to get out there to sign for the package as if they were in a BIG HURRY . The delivery driver was SPEEDING down the drit road from where I live with little regard to the fact that's there's young kids who ride 4 wheelers and golf carts up and down the road. The deliver driver DIDN'T WAIT FOR ANYONE TO COME AND SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE. I'm very disappointed in how FedEx handles there delivery. The driver should have been considerate enough to wait . If there's any damage done to my package or the bicycle inside you will be billed for the damages. Do better next time and GET PEOPLE A CHANCE TO GET OUT OF THERE HOME TO SING . read more

This is the second time a delivery driver has failed to deliver my package to my apartment. My apartment number is clearly indicated on the shipping label, yet it was not brought to my doorstep. Even though I need to sign for my package, the driver took it to the front office, where the mail room door is locked, preventing me from receiving it. They marked the package as undeliverable in the tracking system, and now I have to travel back to the shipping center, which is around 40 minutes away from my home, to pick it up. read more

FedEx drivers fail to observe their surroundings. They rely solely on the GPS, often times, dropping off packages at the wrong addresses, and leaving packages on the side of the road. This is unacceptable. read more

I see all of the one-star reviews on here, but realistically they are not about this location. They are about FedEx in general. I have never had any problems with this location. They have good counter service, they are open very reasonable hours, and the counter staff know what they are doing. I have dropped off many packages at this location, and I have never had a problem. read more

If there was a zero I would put it. Expedited the package for 2 day delivery and same problem as the rest the driver is so fucking slow that he would rather go back to the warehouse then figure out the address. I now have to pick it up. 2 day delivery turned into a week and I have to pick it up. read more

I seriously wish 0 stars was an option. I don't even want to waste my life writing this review and reliving the whole situation. Long story short the FedEx driver would not deliver to my house because my driveway is dirt and hard to get down. So instead of just attempting to drive down the driver decided to put in that the address was incorrect and took it back to the warehouse which is 40 minutes away from me. Even though the day it was delivered I called them early in the morning so the driver can make sure they get it to me that day. They told me I would receive a phone call from the driver verifying the address which I never did so I ended up calling back two more times to verify the address and I would get it that day both customer service people and shirred me I would get the package so I called back a third time for them to tell me it was back at the warehouse and I would have to go pick it up even though they were closing in 20 minutes and I live 40 minutes away. So then I file a complaint and I told them that it needed to be delivered The next day since I am going out of town and I have a flight I need to be on today. I got my flight extended and everything called this morning they assured me it would be there by 11 AM. 11 AM rolled around still didn't get a call, so I called them again they said it would be delivered by 430 at the latest.... 4:30 rolled around still nothing. Now it's back at the warehouse cause the driver claimed the wrong address again and he told is already done with his route again today. Anyways just take my word and don't go through these people they obviously don't know what they're doing and they don't have any one that holds them accountable. The fact that I even filed a complaint and I still have heard nothing from that complaint them apologizing or anything for all of the inconvenience. Easy access drop off outside or inside. Even if they're super busy, you can drop your prepared package on the counter & walk out. I also appreciate that they are open late enough that I don't have to get a speeding ticket to get there after work with my package for that day. read more

***TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE*** My sister paid for next day delivery to my address. Everything was written down perfectly as far as the address. FedEx delivered the next day, the correct apartment number, but at the wrong building, then whomever at that apartment signed my name and stole my package, which was my daughters Christmas present from my sister. We called FedEx customer service, they said they would send the driver back so we could find out which building they delivered to, they never came back, we have an open claim case, but the package is probably gone now because the driver doesn't know how to properly read a f'n address. Very disappointed, never had this problem with using Amazon, will never use FedEx again, Thanks for ruining my daughters Christmas! read more

Paid extra for two day delivery. On the third day, it was out for delivery, on the truck at 9:16am and back at the facility at 4:45. Called and explained the situation. The guy spoke broken English and was barely understood. Said basically the package wasn't delivered because the guy didn't have time.. They would try on Saturday (4th day) and if not, then it would be delivered by 8pm on Monday.... Ridiculous! read more

Really appreciate FedEx delivering my Ebay order to Gainesville Florida on Saturday September 9th, 2017, two days before Hurricane Irma passed through. In contrast UPS decided NOT to deliver my Amazon order that was promised for Friday September 8th, 2017, because they were afraid of Hurricane Irma, which didn't get here until early Monday morning. The winds on that Friday did not exceed 25 mph and it was sunny most of the day. read more

Went to pick up a package. She could not find it on her system using the door tag number/barcode. Took down my address, told me to wait, went to the back, came back and started serving other customers, giving me the impression she had given the tag to someone else to find the package. After waiting for about 10 min, I approached the desk and she tells me she was meaning to have me waiting till the delivery trucks come back at 6.30pm (45 min later- or about 55 min from when she told me to wait) to see if they have it. Did she think I was a FeDEX employee that I should know this without her explaining it? Was not the least concerned or apologetic that she had wasted my time or couldn't track the package. read more
