My experience didn't start our so great although I've used Target Copy for years and was always satisfied. this time I had a fairly large job to be done and someone dropped the ball and I had to go back several times about the same order even after I paid for it up front. A young lady by the name of "Enya" stepped in and actually singlehandedly made me reconsider not doing business with Target. I was over it until she stepped in and used her awesome customer service and people skills to correct all that had gone wrong while apologizing constantly while she corrected my job and invoice. This job was for my business, very specific and very important! She treated me as if my business was as important to her as it is to me! I appreciate her hard work, dedication, kindness and professionalism! She is truly an "ASSET" to this company, and at this point, an asset to mine as well! Honestly because and ONLY because of her, I'm still a customer and will be using Target Copy Center again in the near future. I think Ms. Enya would be the perfect person to use to train employees on how to properly do damage control and show the customer just how valuable they are to your client base as she did for me! awesome employee and an awesome young lady! Fast response and able to get prints out pretty quickly. Only feedback I have is that the knowledgeability of the staff seems to be variable. Otherwise, everyone is very helpful and provides good service. Pricing is a little expensive with online orders due to online order fee, though. read more

Why all the negative reviews of this place? I have used them 4 to 5 times over the last 2 years and each time they have been super pleasant to work with, super customer service focused, and done a wonderful job. Most recently I needed to get two signs made. I took them in and had the associate help me out with this. He made them larger, darker, and matted them to the board in less than a half an hour. It was wonderful and I was able to walk out with my product and did not have to worry about coming back and picking them back up. This place does a little bit of everything. It will make Big Heads, print custom made designs onto shirts, make packets for a meeting, create brochures, make note cards, and do pretty much anything you would need. Target copy is also open 24 hours so no matter what time you need something done you can get it. I am a super big fan of Target Copy and really like the business they do! This place saved me so many times! I'm not a student so it's hard to get things printed for events, work, etc. as I don't have access to a library/large printer. Target Copy is awesome as it is open 24/7 and the staff is always so helpful. If something prints incorrectly, they make it right, and they work with you to make sure your prints look good! I have come here for simple things like printing a 3 page report, and also more complex things like printing a book in color. Always very satisfied. read more

I have always had great experiences with target copy but today was amazing. Late last night I sent over the file for my project and got an immediate response from their staff helping me with sizing and making sure that everything looked how I wanted it. This morning i came in around 8 and got fast and HELPFUL service from Christine who had me come behind the counter to modify my document so that it would print properly. Extremely helpful in my time of need, my cat is missing and he was super efficient making flyers for me and also making sure he took care of everyone that came in . A lot of the student organizations at school use this place so I decided to check it out for an event that I was organizing. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a HUGE fan of efficiency and Target Copy is the place to go. It was the most easy and painless experience for someone who is technologically challenged like me. The guy at the front desk was extremely helpful in explaining things to me. I brought my flyer on a USB drive so he directed me to the computer. It's $0.35 per minute to use the computer, but it literally only took me a minute to pull my flyer up and send it to their printer. I had 100 flyers printed on regular paper, 2 per page and it cost around $30. They have a very helpful pricing book and will explain the total you will pay before you do anything. I think that's extremely helpful to get a quote before you use any services. Even using regular paper the flyers turned out beautiful! The whole process only took about 10 minutes. One thing I will advise about is the parking - there is a lot and a helpful parking attendant but the amount of parking is limited. Since there is a Dunkin Donuts, Subway (or some sandwich place nearby I'm not quite sure), and near campus the area is always packed with students. This is something to keep in mind. The Incompetency of this place is ridiculous. I called target copy as I left school asking if they had our class notes in stock (all our class notes get printed here so this is a regular thing). They say yes, and that I can come to pick it up (I tell them 30 minutes - is that okay...that's fine.). When I get here, they say we don't have any. The guy says well someone may have come in and purchased it before you. He's says, did you place an order? I said no because you had them in stock and implied I didn't need to. Now I'm sitting here waiting for them to print them out Also, after our class representative has done diligent work with this place, they still screw up our notes multiple times and even printed a whole bundle of notes with the class subject spelled wrong on the cover. read more

Stopped in, had an emergency of some sort. I love the Archer Rd location but I was on 13th and didn't have time to drive all the way home to print something out. So I stopped in and sat at the computer, pulled out my CC and the Lady told me she'd be right w/ me, I sat there for 10 minutes. She then proceeded to ask how she could help me, I then told her my problem, she said "Whoops, sorry. internet is down." Didn't you see me sitting at the computer waiting for you for over 10 minutes? I feel as if, once you see me sit down at the computer that has no internet, instead of saying "you'll be right w/ me", say "The internet is down!" Would have saved me 10 minutes when i only had 20 to spare in the first darn place. read more

Target copy has the optimal location. Right on University Ave, directly next door to Chipotle, and even connected to Dunkin Donuts. What more could you ask for as you wait for your documents and/or project to be finished printing. Take a look at the "not recommended" reviews on Yelp. Clearly they are honest accurate reviews. I never had a major problem at this location but sadly was treated very poorly at Renaissance the main company branch. They have a captive audience w the University across the street and being one of only a few printing places in town. Thus there seems little incentive to improve or change as they have steady flow of new business. Renaissance especially has deteriorated to an alarmingly low level of customer service from management. read more

They have managed rush jobs for me on numerous occasions, and they've done tedious jobs without complaining. They are meticulous, reasonable, and super helpful--what more could I ask for? read more

Methinks not. If you are trying to get any serious printing done, don't come here. If you have no eye for quality, don't care about exact dimensions, and want to be ushered quickly to a computer charging you .25 cents a minute to figure out the problems they are having, this place is paradise. This place is ridiculous. I swear the only time I ever get proper customer service is when I'm parking my car.

This is by far THE WORST copy center I've ever visited in Gainesville. Unless there are absolutely no other copy centers open and you cannot wait to print at another shop the next day, save yourself a lot of time and do not come to this Target Copy branch. The employees are wildly inexperienced and unhelpful. I brought in two PDFs that needed to be printed double-sided. When the files didn't print correctly, the employee helping me couldn't and, more importantly, didn't try to offer any suggestions for how to reorganize photos in my file in order for it to print properly. Once I figured out how to correct the problem and line everything up precisely, I worked with another employee, who was just as unfriendly as the first. This time, I waited for more than 15 minutes before I was approached with one of my files correctly printed. The employee told me that she had been trying to line things up but couldn't do it for my other double-sided page. I told her that should not be the case, and she simply responded, "It's not lined up," and walked back to her computer. Another 20 minutes later, she brought me a printout of the second file. On the print, one photo had been so misaligned that half of it had been cropped off the paper. I showed her what the file looked like on my laptop and reiterated that everything should be printing perfectly. She claimed, "That's not how it sent." She suggested that I resend it and not mess with the duplex setting on the print screen. I'm not sure how this was the problem, since this was how I had been told to send a file to the printer at another copy center. Furthermore, I'm not sure why she spent 20 minutes trying to line up a file that didn't even appear correctly on her screen, especially after I had explained to her what it was supposed to look like. I regret paying any money to their branch and will be sure to avoid this place forever. read more

THEY ARE THE LITERAL WORST. They don't even deserve this one single star that I'm being forced to give them. I've never been to a place more inconsistent with their pricing. My professor called at the beginning of the semester for a quote and they gave him the rate of around $5.64 for each 15"x24" print that we did. However every time I've gone, I've been charged $7.34 ($2.95 for the print, $3.95 for the processing fee, and $0.44 for tax). Yet when my classmates go, they pay a little over $3. When I asked about this, the lady told me that it was because they probably forgot to charge my friends the processing fee of $3.95 for just opening the goddamn file (WHICH IS RIDICULOUS but you know, fine whatever). BUT HOW DO YOU FORGET TO CHARGE THE PROCESSING FEE FOR AT LEAST 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WHO HAVE CONSISTENTLY GONE BACK TO PRINT FOR AN ENTIRE SEMESTER. Also I'm no math major but none of these numbers add up to give you the quote of $5.64. So yeah. I feel snaked. Robbed. Jipped. Bamboozled. They don't know their prices and they can't add very well either. I want to drop everything and scream in frustration every time I step foot in there. read more
