His price was MORE than fair, especially considering the amount of bureaus, large mirrors, boxes, and plenty of random things that meant countless trips up and down the stairs. He had straps to secure my things for the move, moving blankets for mirrors, and even a heavy duty mattress cover that I was able to purchase from him to keep my mattress protected in storage. A solid two hour drive south, I followed behind him and all of my possessions, as he took care around corners and at stops like he was carrying his own belongings. We showed up to my storage unit after hours and that's when I learned the code they'd given me wasnt working. Unable to contact anyone in the office, this guy must have some tricks up his sleeve because it wasnt long before he managed to get us in the gate. The truck was unloaded, stacked neatly, and locked up in my unit within the hour. To top off the adventure, I left my truck lights on for more visibility during the unload and my battery died. That said, they said they would move me on Friday. i called several times, sent a text, sent an email- nothing. I literally sat at a bar with tears in my eyes not knowing what to do. If they just called me and said they couldn't move me to Saturday, then I would have at least known they still were going to show up. I was posting all over fb for help, couldn't get a Uhaul until mid Saturday afternoon, it was just horrible. These people were just so nice I never thought I would have been leaving a bad review on them. in the end; I got a call at 2pm from the husband (Dan) I let him know how horrible this was to do to someone. i was in such a bind, I still had them come. I give stars to the guys that moved me but 1 star for what this couple did to me. The emotional stress they caused me will never be forgotten. To note: they did charge me more than my estimate and had the moving guys charge me, again they did not answer my call when I tried to call. i just paid it!
