The FedEx location on Bob Arnold Blvd in Lithia Springs is really great when compared to many of the others. There is a lady there most afternoon who has a shaved scalp (sorry, best way to describe her) and she is absolutely phenomenol. Always friendly, always a smile and always a kind word no matter how busy. Yes, she does occassionally get bogged down in the afternoons, She's often one person running the counter and chasing after packages in the back room. Unfortunately, not everyone there has this level of customer service (recent experience with a counter person mid-morning was awful) but the afternoon lady is definitely a rock star! read more

I have 2 packages that have been delayed and "out for delivery" for a week. I have called the 800 number and opened cases and was told someone would look into it and call me back. I'm still waiting on that to happen. I normally don't use FedEx because there is almost always a problem, but this was the only option offered at the stores where I ordered Christmas presents online. I had to go pickup my package from here instead of them delivering it. I really thought someone was trying to steal my package. It said it was at this facility and it stayed there for a good week. At first I had got a call saying I'm no longer at the delivery address and need to add a new delivery address so they can deliver the package or they're going to send it back. However I never stated I was no longer at the delivery address. I called and told them I was still at that address and they said Ok we will deliver it there. They had claimed they attempted to deliver my package three times. Why was it a fail? The package did not require a signature or anything like that.... Just weird. I ended up calling them stating I'm going to come and pick it up. I ended up getting the package, but the whole situation was weird. Just had a notification that my package was undeliverable due to "customer not available." Which is funny, since there's no signature or person required to deliver this package. And I have been here the whole day. Security cameras prove FedEx never came, just made an excuse to have one-fewer delivery today. The kicker?! These were my Rx glasses, which I really need. I've had FedEx used by retailers prob 50 times over the last 5 years and can count on ONE HAND (this is 10% of all packages) when I've actually gotten my package... not just on time, but gotten it at all! About 75% they tell me for a week that there's a problem or something and to just come pick it up myself-- round trip time 1.4 hours, not including time in the facility. Make it easy on yourself and DO NOT use Fed Ex In Metro Atlanta. It may be different in other places, but I have never dealt with such a consistently-shitty company (that, somehow, still remains in business) ever. I could detail at least 50 instances over the last five years where I've ordered something online and the company chose to ship via FedEx (now, if I see in the FAQs that they use FedEx exclusively, I don't order from that company). read more

My job sent out a work computer. These ppl kept changing the status of package from in transit to delayed. I even paid for my package to be delivered at a certain time to guarantee I'd be home. I waited for days staying home. They lied twice saying they attempted delivery. When I called and said I'd show up with the cops because clearly my package is being messed with they suddenly changed the status to out for delivery. I'm literally a mom trying to work and pay bills. Everyone is overworked and underplayed. Risking making your job lose contracts is never the answer. The amount of incompetency here is astonishing. The lady at the counter didn't know anything. She may have been new, and hopefully knows what's up now. My experience was slow and painful. I had a preprinted slip for one item and needed one for a second item. It took me a good 45 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. The packages made it to their final destination. A package was sent from CA and has been sitting in Austell, GA since 12/10/2021. It is now 12/18/2021 and my package has not been delivered. I have called FedEx since Monday till 10:07 am on December 18, 2021 and still don't know when it will be delivered. I'd been waiting for a package for a week. FedEx tracking said my item actually delivered 2 days after I placed the order and that it was "left at door". I reviewed all the property cameras including my front door. FedEx never stepped foot on my property. I reached out to the seller and they opened a trace on the package. I would never recommend FedEx. On multiple occasions, my packages arrive a week later than the original delivery date stated. I'm currently waiting on three packages. I had two packages shipped together overnight for Friday delivery as I had to prep equipment and travel Monday. One package showed up and one did not. Saturday morning the status deliver by 8 PM Monday, so I went to the Lithia Springs Fedex and the girl at the counter was very cheerful and promised she would help me. After checking she verified it was somewhere at their facility and got some help to start looking. She came back out when someone else came in and I told her it was a black Pelican case and the other lady helping her said she had seen it and found it under a stack of boxes about 2 minutes later. This facility has had my two packages for 15 days. They send me notifications saying my orders are out for delivery and then another notification at the end of the day stating that it will deliver the next day. This has been going on for 15 days. One of my orders is a frozen order and is now ruin. I am going to call every shipper I know and request they ship all future orders by UPS. I went in to drop off a return from Walmart it was the closest FedEx location to me. The employee told me they don't print the return labels, even though the email from Walmart says that FedEx will scan the barcode and print the label. I was told to go to another location near camp creek, solely because they wouldn't print my prepaid FedEx label as instructed in my return email. To make matters even worse, I asked the employee for the address for the camp creek location she directed me to go to, and she shrugged and stated she didn't know. I ordered a new phone to be delivered and here is a lovely photo of the FedEx driver throwing it on my porch. In the video you can see the box continue to flip across my porch. Thank goodness the phone was not cracked, but the box and the phone phone on the inside were all beat up. As of yet, no call back. I was told that my package had a hole punched in it and that they were going to have to repackage it then it would go on the truck. FedEx is the worst shipping service out there. The "overnight" packages are never delivered overnight. When you call to speak with customer service they lie and tell you what you want to hear to get you off of the phone. I spoke with the customer advocate center and they were not very nice either. I did not have a choice on how this was shipped to me because if i did I would NEVER have picked FedEx, I do not have the same issues with UPS or even the postal service. If I could give negative stars I would. I have had three packages in the last 3-4 months go to the Austell GA location. The first was over a month late when I finally got them to send it to a pick up location. The tracking would update almost every day saying arrived at facility and out for delivery. Mind you, they were delivering smaller packages from the same location that were shipped weeks after the first one. When I finally got to pick the package up, the box was beat to h*ll and my product was ruined. The second package was a week late. I called and spoke to a manager. They tried to call the Austell location and no answer. I asked to just pick it up since that worked for the previous package. Here we are almost a month later and the package was never sent to be picked up nor was it delivered.... lost? Stolen? Who knows This week we are dealing with the same situation out of Austell. It is a Christmas gift that I am concerned will never show up. I called FedEx and they now refuse to allow customers to speak with a manager/supervisor. The first person I spoke to hung up on me. The second just apologized, put it on "red alert" and ensured my package would be delivered. No matter how hard I tried they would not allow me to speak with management. Austell is 30 minutes from me. I could walk there quicker than they can deliver my package. With so many people having the same issues, could there be a class action suit possible? read more

A Company shipped me a package that I had to sign for. Fedex sent me a confirmation email stating the package would be delivered the nxt day between 8-9pm. I made sure I was at home. Driver NEVER dropped the package off. LAZY A&@ driver said they could not find my address. 2 of my uncles retired from Fedex and they told how some drivers make excuses not to drop off packages so they can get off on time when they have been taking "coffee breaks" ALL DAY. So i guess the Billion company FEDEX cant update their GPS map system bc the post office and AMAZON always find my correct address. Smh. Pathetic company.
