DO NOT USE. They broke several platters from my travels to Europe with lack of safe packing. Dented my new refrigerator with 4 dents. It wasn't even covered in the move with plastic to protect it. They lost the handles for my refrigerator as well. Now I have to pay to have the dents and handles replaced. The manager at the storage unit where they took my things called me and told me they were drunk and broke his main gate because they were so drunk they couldn't find the code. Called how money for each step. Called for packing take, called for boxing items, called constantly instead of reviewing my items and giving me a quote for the job it was a daily harassment for money. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want broken and damaged items and being harassed daily for money. read more

The team at Stephens helped us unload our moving truck that I drove across country. 3 guys showed up and they made QUICK work of unloading our 26 ft Penske truck. One guy gently unpacked the boxes while the other 2 guys moved everything into the house. I only stood there and directed the guys to the specific room that things needed to go to. While they were quick (took about 3 hours), they were also VERY GENTLE with our furniture!! They didn't damage anything. They also helped us move and transfer the old fridge, which did require taking the doors off. We shopped around and decided to go with them because they were a local and small business. From the quote request to the end of the move, communication was professional and quick. Armaad and team arrived at 10 sharp today. They assessed the furniture and boxes of my 3 bedroom townhouse and set to work. They were extremely polite and efficient. Even though I had some things still to be packed they worked around me, my neighbors saying goodbye and my elderly Mom. Then they drove 2.5 hours to my storage unit and without a beat unloaded it in under 2 hours, no issues, well stacked, even changing a few boxes around for me. Stephen and his team helped us move and they did a fantastic job. They came with 3 guys and a truck. I didn't realize how much stuff we had until the bitter end. They must be pro level at Tetris as they utilized every bit of the truck to put as much as possible in it. It was very hot and the humidity in GA very high, but no complains. This "company" (and I am using the term loosely) is a fraud. Let me start by saying that I have moved about 9 times in my life. 5 of those moves have been cross country and this by far has been the most dreadful experience I have ever had. This is not a moving company, this is a few guys with a U-Haul truck pretending to be a moving company. Attention to detail in the move was lacking overall. Since I am making a temporary relocation to NY and my items were going into storage, there were somethings that were not to be packed. Armaad, yes'd me to death on the items I requested did not get packed and he packed them anyway, which created a lot of additional work on my part, post-move. The initial agreement was that I would purchase all of the moving supplies in advance of the move, which I did. When the guys arrived, handed over all of the supplies with the mattress protectors, however in the middle of the moved they discovered they had mistakenly packed them away. Trying to be flexible, I attempted to go out and buy new ones but I could not find any wraps that would fit my extra thick mattresses. Upon informing them that I was not able to find new ones, Armaad assured me that it was no problem because he would shrink wrap them. Not too long later he informed me that he had run out of shrink wrap and the mattresses would not be wrapped. At this point it was too late in the day to find any other solutions. We agreed that the mattresses would need to be transported to the storage unit uncovered and that one of the men would locate the ones I had originally purchased once we arrived and finally wrap my mattresses. Half way through the unload, I discovered my mattresses were buried in the back of the unit (unwrapped) and no one had made any attempt to locate the mattress covers as we had agreed. One of my mattresses cost $3000 and the other one, which was brand new cost $4,000. I asked Armaad why the mattresses were in the back and if anyone had located the mattress covers to which I got a blank stare. I then said that since it looked like I would need to wrap the mattresses myself, that I needed the mattresses at the front of the unit and not buried in the back where I would need to empty the entire unit to get to them. Armaad then went off on me asking me why I had not made it known sooner that I needed the mattresses in the front, that I was being "a pain in the ___" (exact words), that it was hugely inconvenient now, but that he would make it happen because he "wanted me to be happy." He then proceeded to kick and bend my brand new mattresses, which even an amateur knows you are not supposed to do because you can pop the coils as he was trying to get them out. My brand new mattress which was pristine when it left my apartments was now black on the sides as was the second one. The men completed loading my storage unit with no organization whatsoever. Boxes were randomly thrown in with no support, some of them even leaning and not properly stacked. To boot, the men had even left what ended up being a car load of items back at the apartment, which I would need to move myself the next day. Because of the way the storage unit was packed, not a single thing more could fit. This was a nightmare. When you hire movers, you are hiring them for peace of mind. I have really nice home furnishings which I have worked very hard to obtain. To see them treated in this way was beyond frustrating. I did not sleep the night of the move thinking about the condition of my belongings. The following day, I had to spend the entire day emptying my storage unit, opening boxes, and reorganizing it in a way that my items would be safe and protected. Upon doing so I found that even my micro-suede beige headboards, which were supposed to be shrink wrapped, were also left unprotected with black handprints from the movers among other things. Further, I was able to not only fit another car load worth of items but even have space left in my unit now! After having a facetime call with Armaad, he seemed very personable and assured me that they are professional movers and that all of my belongings would be protected, packed and transported with care. He eagerly made all the promises and assurances to get the business but failed on all counts when it came time to deliver and then berated me when I made requests to fix the mistakes he and his crew had made. I had a $500 tip to give to them but because of the awful service, I just paid the amount agreed. If you have nice things that you care about and want a worry-free / stress-free move DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS, YOU WILL BE SORRY. read more

I use handyman moving services regularly due to my profession, $400 is a whole house rate. These people are elderly and can't move the furniture but imagine them requesting a quote and accepting it?!
