Driver made no real attempt to deliver, and left me a door tag number that was invalid. When I called CS and gave them my tag number, they said it didn't exist. Never using fedex again. Update: months later and they're still playing this game. They said they tried the gate, but it was locked (hilariously enough, the driver reported 'An electric gate requiring a key code.' Bro it's a normal gate. There's no keypad, there's no elaborate setup, just a handle.) The gate is essentially right outside my door. That's like saying "gee he didn't leave his door unlocked so I guess I can't walk into his house and give him the package." It's 2020 so I assume they have some form of communication skills. Every day I called them and asked to send it to my address and they told me - ok and the next day they sent it to another city or even state. I ordered a phone that required that I sign for it. So after two attempts, I had to drive to the FedEx ship center to pick it up. I technically live 6 about miles from here, but it definitely too me an hour because of LA traffic. I also didn't want to wait the weekend and then hoped for the 3rd attempt. I should have reconsidered the electronic signature. This is were you give FedEx the permission to drop off the package but they are not held responsible if it goes missing. Since my neighborhood is relatively safe (and the package turned out to be discreet--- like any other plain brown box) it could have worked out for me. It's truely a shipping warehouse. Large semi trucks are coming in and out, there's a few employees constantly directing traffic, so definitely keep your eyes out for them and drive slowly. Not a customer centric building for the reasons stated. Relatively easy process --show pictured ID and tracking number The space is shaped like a U. You'll want to drive towards the center of the inner U. I highly recommend calling first to make sure your package is there before going. Extremely rude Extremely LOUD FedEx employee would not let me pick up my package without a piece of mail with my current address. I had my ID and tracking and my Amazon recipes but they would not let me pick up. I have had all I can stand of Fedex. The customer service reps are kind and polite but FedEx's policies are beyond stupid. So far I have canceled several orders because Fedex will deliver to ANYWHERE but the theft proof parcel lockers in our building. I have been proactive and signed up to manage my deliveries online. I can have a package delivered to my front door, a neighbor, the backyard and even a tool shed ffs but parcel boxes aren't even an option in the year 2019! After explaining that I work 9-6 and won't be home to sign for a parcel, I request that it be sent to the main hub closest to my home for pickup (closes at 8pm) it's instead sent to a Fedex shipping store that closes at what? 6pm! I tell the agent that they're swapping apples for apples and am told there's nothing they can do and if I'm not home or at their location by 6pm they will have to send it back! Currently the sender is working her ass off to resolve it because if she can't, she can just arrange to have the package returned and my money refunded! This is seriously THE dumbest shit I've ever encountered and instead of someone with clout making a simple exception, the sender and I are in a seriously bad three way with their dispatch. Maybe if enough packages are returned and sales are lost, companies will stop doing business with Fedex. UPS may have their issues but their drivers are smart enough to know they can release the packages to the parcel boxes! For some reason, FedEx often skips deliveries to my home. I love on a busy street with shops below, so I thought this may be the reason. But I often see FedEx trucks parked out front, delivering to neighboring business. However, I'll stay home waiting for my deliveries only to get a message that there was a failed delivery attempt (my deliveries are usually from Amazon, occasionally from other companies). Today I must go to FedEx, pregnant and recovering from COVID, because my SIM card has not been delivered. The FedEx tracker says there were 3 delivery attempts, yet I was home each day (with COVID), never saw a FedEx truck outside and no missed delivery slip anywhere on my door. I'm not sure how I'll pick up my package without the slip, but I have no choice but to go down there, still sick, because after today my package will be sent back and FedEx drivers don't want to bother with delivering to my residence, whether out of laziness to find parking or whatever. read more

That was medicine important to be delivered for her treatment at my home to take it to the hospital. The woman said in a rude tone that if they called it was on then, again, how can I expect an efficient delivery experience if the people working in delivery cannot communicate at all. THE WORSE... My mom was called in the hospital by the delivery guy and my mom told him to call me that I was waiting inside at home for the package. How they cannot take a moment to make a call to people that are actually waiting for the package at home but rather they call my mom sick in the hospital for instructions to open the gate. The next day it wasn't at her house either, turns out that it had to be signed for. Oh, if there was a ZERO star!! I was expecting 2 packages from Amazon on a Saturday and when I got home, I had 2 texts that said that the packages were undeliverable because it was the wrong address. It wasn't. I was told by the really unhappy and unhelpful people at the desk that the driver probably wasn't familiar with the area so he took it downtown to this place. So essentially he gave up because he couldn't find it. It's not that hard to find. I live in the mid-Wilshire area. Go here if you must if your FedEx driver fails to leave your package.
