On a phone inquiry I was quoted $0.25 for cube box size 4x4x4 in. and $0.48 for 8x6x4 in. boxes. For a bundle of 25 pieces each, you would think it would be $6.25 and $12 for each bundle, respectively. But since I was in a rush to get out of the shady neighborhood and had left my 70+ year-old mom in the car, I didn't realize they'd charge me $10 for the first bundle, making each piece come out to $0.40 instead of the quoted $0.25. When I called a few weeks later to get a 2nd quote for the same size boxes, they quoted me an outrageous per piece amount of $0.48 (4x4x4) and $0.65 (8x6x4). That's a 20% - 44% increase. When I asked 'why the major increase?", the only thing the person on the phone could muster was "Everything's gone up" with a tone in her voice reflecting she couldn't care less. Well, I couldn't care either because the boxes's weren't that great of quality either. Not continuing to use them is no big deal. Save your time and energy and look elsewhere. It's not worth the angst half-expecting gunshots to go off nearby either. The boxes' brand (Crown Carton) was also printed on the bottom side of each piece. But don't bother with these guys either. Their customer service is just as bad. I'll write about them too if I find the time. There are a few online vendors in the SoCal area like Papermart.com with way better quality boxes at more reasonable prices. read more

This store was recommended by a friend of mine when I was in need of packing supplies. Not only did I come out with boxes and tape, but I also got hangers and plastic bags! I was surprised to see that this store has a little bit of everything. It's like a mini Walmart minus the food hahaha! Their items are displayed appropriately for you to see and request. I would say they have a genuine staff. They don't try to get you to buy something right away as soon as you walk in. They'll make an effort to make sure you get what you need even if it'll take some time. Since I don't live near this place I'm definitely considering on stocking up supplies I may need for the future. Prices are affordable and the staff is considerate.
