My package was received at this location, was marked with "barcode unreadable and was replaced" over a week after not receiving the package I contact FedEx to be told that the package was "lost". I could not get a replacement for it. The item is worth more than what I paid for, and more than getting a refund. I am seeing all these reviews about how bad this facility is and SOMETHING needs to be done. I feel for the people like who will someday inevitably loose an important package. If you live near the New Castle DE ship center, do not use retailers than ship FedEx home delivery!!! read more

This might actually be the worst FedEx hub in the area. It's horrific. Its a black hole for packages. My address is similar to another in ANOTHER CITY and they've accidentally delivered to these other people when they DO delivery, which, in and of itself is a small miracle. I've had to cancel meal service delivery because of them. My pets prescription food had to go through UPS after FedEx failed multiple times and entire crates were lost. Avoid using this hub at all costs. read more

They lost my shipment and iPhone to be precise and their website kept lying that that the product of out for delivery. They never bothered to tell me that they have lost it. Only after I called them and talked to multiple people and spent 2 hrs of my time did I find out that they have lost it. No apologies, no remorse. FedEx thinks I am suppose to be ok with this and I should find out what the next steps are going to be. They are crooks. Thugs. There is only one thing they do and that is deliver stuff. Honestly I need to just start checking before I order something if they are going to use FedEx because they are absolutely the most unprofessional shopper. My package had an estimated delivery of 2 days ago. Then suddenly the estimated delivery date changed to "pending". When I call, they are no help. They tell me that if it doesn't come by next week to have the shipper file a claim. The package has been sitting on a truck at the New Castle facility for 3 days now and when I asked where my package was because at this point I'll just pick the thing up myself, they do not know where my package is... Fed Ex driver took it upon himself and decided my package required a signature upon delivery. Well it did not! He would not leave it at my address. There was an error with the shipping address, and the package was held at the local fedex location to be returned to sender. I called this location and asked them to hold it, so I can pick it up after work. They said it was fine. A couple of hours later I get a notification that it was shipped back to sender. If they can't get something this simple correct then what else are they capable of messing up? read more

I paid for 2nd day air....it gets to this destinations facility in New Castle Delaware and falls into the black hole..tracking just says "no scheduled delivery date available" and "potentially delayed"......There's no potentially about it it's not here and no date when they will deliver it you call customer service and you get some broken English-speaking person from another country it tells you they will gladly open a case for you and some I'll be in touch within a week or so FedEx has fallen down the tubes with every other shitty business in this country using excuse of "unprecedented times" For their lack of ability to do their job here's a crazy idea hire better people? Same issue as the others. I had a delivery back in Jan that required a signature and it took the driver 3 attempts to get it to me. I work from home so... they didn't attempt very hard. I envision the driver tip-toeing to my door and ever so slightly sticking the tag to the door. I am deciding to review today, months later, b/c I had a delivery scheduled for today and knowing my past experience, I have been especially alert for the driver, even looking out my window whenever I hear a truck engine. Well, needless to say, I got the email notification that a delivery was attempted and was unsuccessful. This time, there was no tag on the door. Building new computer. Did not have a problem with any other package involved in this build. Power supply unit was the last piece coming in. Got an aborted delivery attempt on Saturday, two days before estimated delivery, but no note on the door. Apparently scanned my address as a BUSINESS address, despite being in the middle of Suburban Wilmington, and didn't actually try to deliver. On Monday (the commit date), I waited all day, pulled pieces off my case, installed the I/O, and waited. And waited. Called FedEx at 6:15pm, found out that there was no indication it'd made it onto the truck for delivery. Not only that, but it was at a facility that I couldn't just go to to pick it up. My last day off work was Tuesday, and I was hoping to actually enjoy a functioning gaming computer the entire day instead of my crappy netbook. I've never had a problem with FedEx before, but this has completely ruined my night. I'm sure it's a facility issue because the CS rep I spoke to was fantastic. I'm really upset right now because it was supposed to be delivered today but the local facility decided that it wasn't worth it. read more

This delivery facility is totally ridiculous. I have had a package "on the truck for delivery" for TWO days and yet it isn't delivered and was taken back to the facility both days. This is NOT a package that needs a signature. Just drop it and run. Now they are saying not until Monday. I called the 800 number and was told that the driver "couldn't finish his deliveries". Really?? It's Christmas...there is going to be an increase in packages. Deal with it, you are a shipping company. If there are too many for 1 person, then put another truck out there. This happening two days in a row is totally unacceptable. Told them I wanted it delivered tomorrow and was only given excuses. Said I could go pick it up....Uh, no. I live an hour away and YOU were paid to deliver it to ME. It has taken longer for the package to go 1 hour to me than it took to get to northern DE from Florida!!! If I could give less than one-star, I would. Whenever I order something online and it ships through Fed Ex, nine times out of 10, Fed Ex delivers it to the wrong address. I'm in a suburban development. A plaque with my complete address is on the front lawn, and Fed Ex invariably mis-delivers my stuff. U{S and USPS have no problem finding me. Yesterday, I was expecting a package from Thrive Market. According to the tracking, Fed Ex left it at my front door yesterday, No they didn't. I was home all day and checked outside frequently. Thrive Market has been good about it and will put in a claim and send me another shipment. I asked if they could use UPS instead of Fed Ex as I have no faith Fed Ex will deliver it to me. I really, really hate Fed Ex. I'm going to stop ordering from companies that use them. read more

To be completely honest w/u this is my 1st time ever writing a review. Typically if I have a bad experience with a company I let it go. However, this is not my 1st or 2nd bad experience with this company but it is my 3rd. When I submit our weekly payroll (for a very well known business) my employees receive their pay checks every Tuesday of every week by 3:00pm. Unfortunately, this Tuesday was different. Due to the holidays we did not receive our payroll Tuesday and I was advised (after 2hours of the run around) and assured that I would receive my payroll by or before the following day, Wednesday- at 2:00pm. Wednesday came and Wednesday went. Again no checks so now it is Thursday, Christmas eve and instead of my company being a number 1 priority since we are going on 2days with our over nite delivery never being delivered....I waited patiently with 25 of my employees from 12pm until 6pm. I notify fed ex and I was told that the driver came to my office at 5:45pm today and that nobody was there to except the checks. Fortunately my company is under around the clock surveillance not to mention the known fact that me and 25of my employees were both inside and outside of the facility waiting patiently for their last pay check before Christmas. I contacted fed ex at 5:53pm to verify the status of my delivery (again) just to be advised that the driver stayed that he came to the office and nobody was here. The driver made a false report and they were not helpful. Not to mention the fact that I have a locked drop off box for fed ex to drop off my package(s) if I ever did have to leave which has been documented. So if I was not there (although I was along with 25of my employees) then the driver would've -couldve-should've dropped the package off. This ruined Christmas for many of my employees. I did wat I could to help but fed ex really screwed me. I will no longer do bus I was with This company again Merry Christmas read more
