For 2 decades, it's been a long running joke with FedEx. Once my business was "closed" it wasn't. I needed that $300 shipment so bad that day. My friends business was also "closed" that's when we got in touch about FedEx in general. Those years were 2007-2013. Here I am bouncing with simple delivery for my mother. 3rd visit is today! On the second drive, 2 days ago, they were literally 2 miles away and drove back. Let's saw of 3rd times a charm. My grandmother's chair arrived a day later than scheduled. Well, I have rearranged my schedule for the last Two day to be at home for a delivery I have to sign for. I checked Sunday night and delivery suppose to be Monday 800 - 1:00. When 1:00 came and passed checked again found that the time had been changed to Tuesday 9:00 to 1:00. I've been waiting days for my package to be delivered, dumbass delivery driver can't read a house number, dumbass keeps going to my neighbors house who is in Florida knocks on the door and leaves, he even took a picture of the neighbors front door with house number included and claimed that was my door? It's amazing that all the negative comments on here are a complete lie. First, you need to make clear if your complaining about ground or express. Labels can be made at any distribution center. Also, pkgs are left at front doors of residence unless instructed differently. If you live at an apartment, then you should have it delivered to the appt office or pick it up if it's an expensive item. You can also have a direct signature assign for it so it isn't left in the hall way. Drivers do not know what's in pkgs so they cannot make a judgment to leave the pkg or not. Drivers can only deliver the pkgs to front doors unless instructed differently. So if anyone has a problem with what Drivers are doing, I can only extend and apology from the Drivers. Please contact your local distribution centers instead of calling FedEx call center.​ read more

CANT GIVE A 0 OR I WOULD, MIGHT BE WORSE FEDEX LOCATION IN THE COUNTRY Over the last 3 weeks I have had issues on 3 different deliveries. First one was I had a item that was attempted to be delivered, amazingly no slip on the door and I was home all day. Second one was website said sunday night that package was in the hub and to be delivered the next morning. I got email update that it got bumped to tuesday (which ok it happens) but got another email that it had been scanned and put on the truck to be delivered. Looked at the tracking number in the afternoon after the shipment window and they changed it back to tuesday. No notification on the change so basically I waisted my whole day come to find out after I called them. They almost made it sound like they found it funny. If I didnt have to sign for the item it wouldnt have been that big of a deal, but I did and waisted a whole day due to lack of communication and lack of customer service. The third one was today. I ordered a bed and it was shipped from Maryland to this hub with no issues. Once again I get a email saying your item is on the truck out for delivery around 6:45 AM. 2 hours after estimated delivery window I get a phone call from them. Saying the item was over weight and they werent delivering it but they would hold it for 10 days and I can come get it. Like I said it was shipped from Maryland and was weighed in at the Fed Ex hub at 147 pounds. Now it weighs 155 pounds and contracted drivers can refuse to deliver anything over 149 pounds. I asked them then why does it say its on the truck out for delivery then and when did you weigh this. The managers response was well its not on the truck and we weighed it at 10am. I recieved this phone call from them after 3pm so it took them over 5 hours to even let me know. Even if it is indeed over the weight limit your company accepted it and shipped it like 700 miles with no issues. The drivers might be contracted but guess what the useless manager there I spoke too isnt, so fix your companies mistake and hop in the truck and deliver it yourself. But that would require him to work and thats probably a lot to ask of him considering he couldn't care less about it because he basically made it clear that its my problem not his. My package has been "on the vehicle for delivery" since Monday at 3:40am. It's now Wednesday at 4:57pm. I even saw the FedEx truck drive down our side street, pass us, turn right and drive away with his door open. When he got to the stop sign I yelled, "Hey FedEx!", but the driver ignored me and went on his merry way. Holy cow. All 1 Stars. It's like the anti Lorax. No stars on thars. I find this location fairly inconvenient, and their services are much more expensive than UPS or USPS so I only mail things via FedEx when I absolutely have to (AKA today's visit which was mailing something to my employer who had sent me a FedEx return form). That said, my experience here was quick and the service relatively pleasant. The person in front of me with mailing a shoe box size package somewhere via FedEx's overnight service. His bill came to almost $80. He walked out the door, walked back in and asked whether she'd applied his discount, and she said that yes, that was the price after the discount. I seriously considered asking him where he was mailing it to because if it was anywhere in Michigan he could pay me that much and I'd drive it there personally. read more

The drivers and the customer service at this location are awfully rude and lazy. I have been tracking and waiting for my package for over a week and it still hasn't turned up. I even called to give them specific instructions as for where to deliver it and yet, they can't even follow a simple instruction. I'm not sure why this location is still in business! Their tracking is an absolute disaster and the drivers 'try to' deliver the package without even knocking the door or anything. They just left a note on the door and I'm in the house. Come on! I was receiving an urgent package through FedEx 2-day shipping. The package was moving at the expected speed (from NY) until it reached this location. It just sat here for multiple days without an update. I went into the office and tried to pick it up rather than waiting, and I was told this was not possible as it was packed up (which is fair). I explained my situation to the woman; she told me they had only received it yesterday, as if that was a reasonable excuse for 2-day shipping. This location in itself took over two days. I would not recommend ordering something through FedEx that will pass through here if you need to receive it quickly. read more

I have been using this hub regularly for almost 2 years now. I always come in at the same time of day and have had the pleasure of working with Kim behind the desk for all but two times. I cannot say enough good things about her! She goes above and beyond to help whenever she can and is always polite and easy to talk to. We were expecting to receive a training collar for our dog (from CHEWEY). Delivery was supposed to be yesterday (Wed June 8) Someone showed up with a van (not a Fed EX van) and told me that they had us on the route but there was no package for us (Deb Stewart 62791 Shaffer Rd, Constantine MI 49042). The gentleman working that day was struggling a bit with his new pair of eyeglasses, but happy to help us and find the most economical option. These folks are not helpful at all. I needed to ship something to Chicago, and wanted it there within 2 days. Naturally, I assumed I needed 2-day service, which I asked for and paid for. Later, I found out I could have simply shipped it ground and it likely would have been there overnight, because Chicago is so close. I was angry that they didn't offer me the ground service, which would have gotten my package there for half the cost and in half the time. When I later called to complain, I could practically hear them shrugging their shoulders over the phone: "You asked for 2-day service, man, and we gave it to you... what do you want from us?" Idiots! The automated menu system you have to go through to get to a real person is ridiculous. After you finally reach someone, it's someone overseas, so you get to waste more time talking to someone whose has an inadequate command of the English language. It used to be there was a reason for using Fed Ex and UPS, for lower rates than the post office, but now, there's really not much difference. They have all raised prices. The only ones that that get a deal shipping anything are those with a business account. Ever wonder how businesses can offer free shipping and free return labels; it's because the rest of us are paying much more to ship anything, and this is on top the taxes we pay to support the US post office. I can almost drive a package cheaper than I can insure and mail it. Fed Ex and UPS came about to give people a reasonable alternative. They could "do it better and cheaper," and they became practically an overnight success. Now they are just an another overpriced option. read more

I just arrived home and package with $500.00 camera just setting by my door for any dishonest person to take... FedEx I hate your service and lazy uncaring drivers... the driver today a woman.. Aweful service. We built our house 9 years ago...FedEx cannot find us - we live in a small town and within the city limits. USPS and UPS gets it right 100% of time, FedEx gets it wrong 95% of time. I have called to give verbal directions, no use! After 9 years of waiting extra time to receive packages it is frustrating. I have a signed release on file with instructions to leave package in my package slot on door. Saturday a time sensitive package came to my door. Driver ignored the written instructions and left a door tag instead for an overnight envelope. I saw driver pull away so I called FedEx. They told me they would contact driver and have them return or call me same day. I waited 8 hours, they did not call or return. Sunday I called fedex and got a msg they are closed. I press 0 twice and did reach someone. They told me it would now be Wednesday before their driver would return because Monday is a holiday. I am not sure why they are closed Tuesday also, but this is the nightmare of using FedEx on important time sensitive financial documents. I would have received the document faster snail mail than fed ex. I never have these problems with UPS. read more
