This year all heck is breaking loose. This UPS store has alway given me good and professional service. They have kept up the good service even in these hard times. The employees offer good advice and suggestions on packaging and shipping. I would highly recommend this place when shipping weather it is already boxed or not, they can pack it up for you. This was all right away in the morning. The customer service was Phenomenal! They got it all done for us, quick and painless! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes! I am beyond offended at West mains Kalamazoo, MI UPS store location for there terrible service and lack of common sense to properly diligently complete there job in regards to notary. I came in on my second occasion to get items notarized and whoever the short caucation notary is he is absolutely horrible he asked me no questions and immediately tells me he can't notarize my items for reasons that made no sense like he pulled them out of his ass or was told by someone to turn me away. He then lies on the downtown 201 w. Michigan office saying they told him not to notarize something, which would be completely unprofessional. After calling them I then find out they said no such thing. I felt targeted because I am a black female along with discriminated against. I will never come here again. Disgusting behavior. Seriously, they charged 1.00 for a piece of tape! Also 8.00 for a carboard box! Went to lowes they had one for .69 and sold it to me for .27 :) . I had no choice at the moment paid the dollar for the tape, it was a hearth song return there going to hear it! read more

Horrible customer service. I took some materials in to be enlarged and photocopied, explained in detail, to the person at the counter exactly what I needed done, and was told the person who does the copying was not in yet, but when they came in that same afternoon they would call me to discuss what I needed done. No phone call. I went back a week later to pick up the job and not only did they not do the copying that I had asked them to do, they lost the materials. After a half hour of searching the store, they finally find them and returned them to me, damaged. They then had the nerve to ask me if I still wanted them to do the job. I told them no, that I was going to their competitor. I will not be back to this store. read more

This is the only UPS store I have ever gone to that charges to tape up a small box ( approx 14" square box ) and only one flap needed tape , the rest of the box was already taped securely.. I ship from fedex and ups stores all the time and they all put the tape on my small boxes without any problems. If I had a big box I would understand, but The price of bulk tape is penny's per foot. I took my box to another location and had no problems shipping it and the staff kindly taped the box without any questions. [ I even offered to pay the other store and they said that was not necessary for such a small amount of tape ] read more

I got a package today. My box was opened and damaged by UPS not the sender. The seal was broken, packaging and order form removed. The item box that I ordered was dented. I wanted to know why they were getting into packages that weren't theirs. UPS refused to take ownership and were rude. Poor customer service read more

This store is nearly impossible to find, you have to circle around multiple shopping complexes, and it closes way too early on Saturday.

Very disappointed with the business cards we received from this printing service. Everything was cut crooked and unevenly. Sometimes a quarter of an inch was cut off the top, sometimes off the bottom. Some were cut at a slant. Some were not. They are almost unusable. read more

Notary service outstanding. Always there when I need it. I use usps for Shipping every day as the cost is much better than brown. Good service, and extremely easy to make a return as long as you come prepared. The other reviewers complaining about the price of tape or a box should have come prepared. Make sure if you're making a return or shipping something that you get it ready if you're able to. Tape, box, shipping or return label affixed to the package. If you do all that, there's no reason you shouldn't have a good experience. I just made a return and was in the store for less than 20 seconds, with receipt in hand. read more

Rude customer service. Curt, annoyed, and downright mean. I live far from my family and ship things a lot- by far the worst UPS store I've ever been to. Avoid if you can!! Specifically the blonde woman was very rude. She seemed annoyed at me for being in the store! I know it's the busy time of year- but you could at least make an effort to not roll your eyes. Literally one of the most infuriating experiences ever. I went in to ship out a Bluetooth headset for warranty work. I dropped my package off, making sure I mention that the package needed to be taped up. Apparently the girl that helped me didn't listen, and during the shipment process, my headset was lost. Now, this took place in late October. I only just heard back from the store a little over a week ago (late January) about what the process was for a situation like this. A week later, they call me to tell me they have a check for the amount of the item waiting for me. I get there only to find that the check is $40 short of the cost of the device that was lost. When I asked why the check was short, I received an ineffectual "that's just the policy." FedEx has just gained a new customer. read more

I went to this store as the P.O. did not have the size box I needed to ship my gifts. The guy that waited on my was not at all friendly to say the least. In fact he had no personality. He just punched the information into this computer and eventually spoke to me. What he spoke to me was that it was going to be $50.00 to ship my package. Of course shocked at the cost I told him I was not about to spend $50.00 to ship my package. This was December 14th! He claimed it's so busy and he couldn't guarantee that it would get there before Christmas. Come on, 11 days???? I asked for lowest cost to ship and he took time and eventually said $25.00. I asked what just the box would cost and he said $10.50. What a rip off! Frustrated at this point I just went ahead with the shipment. He obviously was trying to high pressure me and sell me up. I checked the tracking number today, December 16, and the package is out for delivery. I have already sent a couple packages with the USPS and delivery has been on average 2-3 days. Both the USPS and UPS have been on the ball working day and night making deliveries. This independent UPS store is taking advantage of the season by over charging customers and greedily putting extra cash in their pockets!! I used this service a couple years ago as I was in a pinch and was again shocked by their outrageous shipping costs. They need to stop gouging their customers! My friend that I was shipping this package to also sent me a package and needed the box, shipping, etc., and her charges for this service were $13.00 total. I will never do business with this rip off unfriendly store again!! read more

I had to take UPS Store # 2003 to small claims court to recover the over $1000 in damages they caused by sub-standard packaging and materials not meeting UPS specifications. How a UPS Store doesn't pack per UPS Standards is beyond me, but they don't, and they don't care. And good luck if you have any issues with them. I prevailed in court, but still awaiting payment of my settlement. I'm sure they will drag it payment out just like they did when I tried to get their help with an insurance claim. We shipped a package at this store and had a problem with the delivery (no fault of UPS). We went back to the store the next day to understand our options and Elrico was extremely courteous and helpful. He called the local delivery office on our behalf to get a better understanding of the delivery issue and what our options were. He really went out of his way to assist us and provided outstanding customer service. From now on, I will always ask for Elrico when shipping packages from this location. read more

even one star is too much to give them. Listen customers, I do not know what happened to their policy but they do not deliver it to your complex even when you are home. Which means they do not even check if you are available at home or no matter what your situation is, they will just decide to put your package to the office with no contact or notice. I was waiting for my package today which was quite important for me but they delivered it to the office, I found it out and went to the office but since office was closed I could not get the package at all. The thing is they delivered it to the office at 4:53 when my apartment office is closing at 5:00 How the hell am I supposed to know it was delivered if there was no contact? So disappointingly I have to get my package tomorrow. Imagine if the package is your important files or things you need it in just that day is was estimated to deliver. I called the UPS office but all they said was it is not able to check who was the driver today, and chat system of the ups website is just being stupid not answering my question. I dont understand what is going on in their mind and how they instruct the delivery guy to behave. I thought delivery service is supposed to deliver the package to the owner rather not freaking office manager to think the house owner is emptying the house all day so they have to take care of my package all the time.
