Please do not use them if you are returning something costly! They "lost" my Samsung Z fold 9 cell phone return, for which I was charged $1200 for the missing item by Samsung (as if I had kept the phone, and returned to an empty box to them). Samsung does provide an unboxing video of return items, and I noticed that the box had re-taped with a different type of tape than which I had secured it with. On my own investigation, I found the Fed Ex Ground station footage video showing that the package had been opened prior to arriving there. The prior location being this Fed Ex location. The manager Jared Norris did NOT follow up on my email requests for more information. It took months of runaround with Customer Service (outsourced, poor English comprehension) and a BBB report to both Fed Ex and Samsung for me to be refunded (minus a restocking fee, despite the item not being restocked since it never arrived for return!). My saving grace, was that I recorded the weight of the package when I dropped it off at this Fed Ex. In my BBB report, I asked to obtain the weight of the package upon arrival at Samsung. I was able to prove that the box contained the phone at dropoff, and the failure of delivery of the phone to Samsung was not because I did not place it in the box, but once it was the responsibility of this location prior to arrival at the Fed Ex Ground station. Remember, once that package is closed/taped, the only way to prove the item is actually inside is to either video yourself taping the actual package in front of the staff and/or obtaining the weight of the package. Do not rely on Fed Ex to take responsibility for the security of the items they ship, they do not have any professionalism or sense of accountability. read more

Leaving 1 star as feedback as the local phone number (8026600960) is disconnected and only the corporate number is listed on Yelp and elsewhere. I was trying to reach the store to see if they had a large packing box which is featured by their national website. All inquiries take you to their corporate 800 number and you have to jump through hoops to eventually be able to speak to an offshore contact. After some digging they provided 8026600960 which doesn't even work. Long story short, I had to drive to the office only to see that they did NOT have the box in stock. Listing a LOCAL number could have avoided an unneccesary trip to this location. read more

Awful. Packages can sit in Williston for a week before delivered. When they are delivered, the boxes are literally dumped at the end of my road, even in the rain. UPS and the post office always leave packages on my porch or in my garage. FedEx can't even leave them near my driveway. The service was horrible a few years ago, and has only gotten worse. I actually debated if it was worth it to leave one star. I am not normally the type of person to go out of my way to leave a review for a company like this, but hopefully it'll be a warning to others who choose FedEx's Express shipping. For starters, I was home all day today -- Around 2:30PM, I heard a knock at my door. It took me maybe 45 seconds to get there, because I had to get my dog out of the way. By the time I opened the door, there was no one there, no package, and not even a notice to let me know someone had at least TRIED to deliver it. So there's that. The only reason I knew it was a delivery driver from FedEx is because I checked my tracking info (not through FedEx -- through the site I had ORDERED from) and saw that there was an 'attempt' made. So, following the pickup instructions, I went down to FedEx in Williston at 5PM, which was a huge mistake. First of all, the guy working there (Tuesday around 5PM, Aug. 14th) looked like he didn't want to be there at all. So as politely as I could, I inquired about a potential package that had come back from delivery. I could barely hear this employee let alone understand what he was trying to explain to me. When I asked him to clarify, I was spoken to as though I was a complete idiot. Not only was I fed back generic information as though I was a child, but I did not have my question answered and in the process, this employee ensured that all the details about my delivery (including where and who it was from) were spoken out loud... I'm not even sure if that goes against privacy practices. When I called FedEx, I was told (via automation, of course) that I could pick up my package before 7PM -- Yet my driver was not meant to be back until 6:45PM. I RARELY write reviews like this, but it's a shame to me that simple questions such as mine receive such unnecessarily mean responses. Whenever I see that I am to receive a part order via fedex I cringe. They have yet to deliver an item on time. A couple of times they even returned to sender my appliance parts my customers are waiting for and twice items were lost. One of these times I had to eat the cost because of their incompetence. I use to work for an appliance repair company and about the only time I couldn't find a customer was if I was given an incorrect or completely wrong address. Today with. GPS, I just don't understand why better service isn't post from a major delivery company. And if you try to call them direct, good luck. All I can get is their automated answering system. You can talk to a person who is in Asia or some place else. No possible way of getting a message in a timely fashion to a driver to assist him with verbal directions. By the time I get my package, I could have had it sent by mail and get it quicker. It's a wonder they can stay in business. Probably their outrageous shipping charges help with that. Wow. Terrible, terrible service. I had a package arrive at this facility early on December 20th, it was then scheduled for next day delivery THREE times but they never made a delivery attempt. On the 23rd they loaded it on a truck but said that my address was incorrect and the delivery failed. I sat home all day waiting NEVER did a Fed Ex truck pull into the driveway. I called and had them read back my address and it was the correct address! It's impossible to call the facility directly, you only get the Fed Ex customer service reps that aren't even in Williston. Tried to go a pick up my package today on the 24th but they are closed. So my package that has been in Williston since the 20th will not arrive for Christmas due to laziness and negligent service. I wonder how many other packages are sitting in a closed shipping facility the day before Christmas. Best part? They don't reopen till Tuesday. Terrible Service! Loads of dishonesty! We ordered an item from Amazon. The item was marked for delivery. When it didn't come, I looked on Amazon, and FedEx had flagged the its with a notation saying WE had changed the shipping instructions. That was a lie. I called the national FedEx customer service line and complained because we also had a problem (late and lie) with an order from Walmart. I was assured I would have my orders the next day. Instead, the FedEx marked it for delivery, failed to deliver, and entered fabricated tracking notes for for several consecutive days. I will be avoiding FedEx and vendors who use it from here on. Very disappointed with the way my tire order was delivered. Over $1000 worth of tires just thrown on my side lawn close to the road. I can't see who comes in my driveway from my home office and the traffic noise drowns out any sound of someone pulling in to the driveway. If I hadn't happened to spot them through the window going into the living room I never would have known they were here until I checked my tracking or got a delivery email. Anyone could have pulled up on the side of the road and loaded up my tires and drove off with them. The drivers who make deliveries of items like this should have to at least knock on the front door to let people know their orders are there. We have repeatedly asked FedEx to drive up the driveway and leave our packages on the porch or infront of the garage. I can see them leaving the packages at the end of the driveway when it's winter time but a perfectly spring,summer & fall day !!! They either leave them at the end of the driveway on a rural road or at the mailbox or tied up in a tree !!!! We have complained so much to FedEx about this !! FedEx in Williston has pulled ridiculous moves so many times that I felt compelled to leave this review out of sheer frustration. Their favorite stunt is abandoning a delivery in the middle of a scheduled delivery day due to a "weather exception" and this is usually on a perfectly normal day with absolutely no imaginable weather excuse. This has to be due to poor management, IMHO. I can only suspect that their drivers either don't show up, leave early or drive poorly maintained vehicles. UPS and USPS have never pulled such a stunt. FedEx has done it to me on March 20, 2015 and then again on April 10, 2015, both happened to be Fridays, so I had to wait another three days to get my package, effectively doubling the length of the time my package was "in transit". I paid to have an envelope delivered 2nd day (sent Thursday for Friday delivery due to Father's day), and when i reviewed the address with the guy at the FedEx office, I told him the city info was incorrect. He told me it should be fine. Well - NOT FINE. Apparently the city info being wrong created an issue with the deliver and the envelope was not delivered due to "incorrect address". They called my parent's number, and the address was corrected. BUT they didn't try to deliver the envelope because it wasn't checked off for Saturday delivery. So, they messed up the address, and then won't be delivering the envelope until MONDAY. I paid a lot for 2nd day delivery, but what I got was fourth day delivery. This is not the only time that something like this has happened. I sent something to my mother and they couldn't deliver it - and were going to reroute it to Burlington so she could pick it up. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. The delivery of our package was "attempted" on Friday, and my daughter was home at the time of the supposed "attempt". A door tag was left, stating that a signature was needed, and another attempt would be made on Saturday. There were 4 people home all during the day on Saturday, and not one door knock or doorbell. And, no 2nd door tag. They no more made a delivery attempt on Saturday than flew to the moon! I also failed to mention that we own a very vocal dog, and anyone who knocks on our door or rings the doorbell is announced by him. He even barks at door knocks and doorbells on TV! So don't lie about attempting delivery! Nothing done to make things right, of course. I'm not even sure what "making it right" would be at this point. FedEx just delivered two packages a block away from my front door, not at my front door. Not only did I need to go looking for the packages, I had to drag them in since they're too heavy for me to carry. I'm disabled, which is why I order my cat food online. I depend on front door, my actual front door, delivery out of necessity. Additionally, this is the second shipment of the same order from the same company. FedEx was supposed to deliver my order on Wednesday by end of day, then Thursday by end of day and that's set now to "Pending." That never made it here yet. Literally the worst company operation I've ever seen. They don't have enough drivers or the driver simply doesn't feel like completing the route so they lie and mark the package as delayed due to "natural disaster or weather" to avoid red flags with corporate. I called the number on their websites and to no surprise it was an automated system. They in fact informed me that I could pick it up right in Williston today with no problem. EVERYTIME FedEx is the shipper I end up having to go to the Williston VT office and pick it up myself. UPS NEVER has any problems. WILLISTON, VT FedEx ground has horrible service. They service Burlington. 4 times my brother has had exception tags placed on his mailbox when he was home and looking for the delivery. One time they actually left the package leaning on the mailbox. This facility is an embarrassment to the Fedex brand. I retired from Fedex Ground after 21 years there. If this is the main Williston FedEx distribution point I have nothing but a POOR! rating for them. I repeatedly have packages left at my mailbox, in the snow, tied to a flag pole, etc. We live on a rural road and packages are not safe "on the road" with no protection. The tracking information indicates that they were delivered to the front door. WRONG! This has happened atleast twice this season. Our driveway is not that long and is always plowed so that is not the issue. I realize the quantity of packages this season has been a problem...the delivery people should not be adding to this stress. The worst case was a FRAGILE marked, small box that was delivered and left in the tire track by the garage door. As I backed out of the garage, nothing being seen on my backup camera, well you know what happened to that package. I tried to call to place a complaint and after 5 days gave up on an expected call back. I again tried to call customer service only to have people from numerous foreign countries hang up on me when I said I need the phone number to the local Williston office and wanted to make a complaint. I was finally able to reach a person in the Memphis office who was more than cordial but none of this did my blood pressure any good. When you hire people..be sure they understand that they can't leave packages on the road and indicate they were delivered to the front door!! Everyone gave me different excuses. 1. It has to stay here one day before we deliver. ? 2. It's out for delivery. You'll have it by the end of the day. NOT. 3.
