Had Matthews do an estimate for my insurance company…read more Unfortunately, a lot of damage was done behind the grill and had to be tore down before insurance company would agree to repairs. My appointment was for August 27th so dropped off on the 26th. Upon turning over the keys, I was asked for the claim number. looked at the guy who was sitting in front of his computer . You've got to be kidding. Took them until that following Friday to get it tore down. By Tuesday they had the parts in and would go to the tech by Thursday. The following week Bambi was supposed to call me to update me, but I ended up calling after no call for 2 days. She told me that the car had a sensor that needed calibration. After that it would go to detail and then quality. She would call me when done. Following week I ended up calling after hearing nothing. She apologized, again, for not calling but said that my car was back over at the dealership to have the windshield reprogrammed then back to detail and quality. Told her my rental was up on Thursday , she said she'd call. Thursday, I had to call again and listen to her apology again. Car is at dealership getting repaired. She'll call Friday. NOT!!! Called Monday and car is still at dealership. Having issues programming the windshield. Thus was just after 1035 am. She said she'd check the dealership and call me shortly. Asked her if they were willing to pay for the extra charges on my rental. Said she'd check with the adjuster. I sit here writing this review and I still haven't heard from Bambi. Customer service really sucks here.

    My wife and I were shopping for a car to replace out totaled 2016 Prius V. We headed to Vestal to…read morecheck out Matthews as they sell a few of the brands that we wanted to try out. We had a great experience with a sales rep at their Mitsubishi / VW dealership even though I didn't fit into most of the cars we looked at. The salesman we were working with recommended we check out their Kia / Subaru store and called ahead for us. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by Brian Chadwick and I'm happy to say everything worked out great. I explained what we were looking for and he took us to a bunch of vehicles so we could see how I fit into them. Eventually we test drove a 2020 Subaru Outback even though it wasn't on our list and we loved it. We went back in and did the preliminary paperwork which was painless. There was no pushiness around the optional extras that they offered. Most importantly the price was very fair without having to do any kind of haggling. When all that we could do with Brian was finished for that evening we were passed onto one of the finance people who was also very nice, and again this was completely straight forward. No backroom sales pitches or any other junk that we've run into before. We came back the following Thursday to finish all the paperwork and take delivery of out new Outback. The process was very relaxed and if I can be honest, we left without feeling like we'd gone through what I'd call a normal car buying process. This was so far removed from any experience we've had in the past, we will definitely be coming back here the next time we need a replacement vehicle. If you're looking for a car, I'd recommend the trip to Vestal to check them out and I definitely recommend working with Brian Chadwick.
