If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I came in today because I was in a hurry otherwise I would have gone elsewhere. The animals in this store are always living in filth. Their food bowls are also always gross covered in feces. Today I came in and the ferret cage was CAKED with feces. Their food in their bowl was so old that it had finally solidified. It wasn't edible. This does NOT happen overnight. There was a small cage that had baby mice in it. Brand new babies. No fur, eyes not open. Merely days old. No mother with them and they were just lying in the bedding. These babies cannot survive like that. One of them in particular did not appear to be alive any longer as you couldn't even see it breathing. Some were moving around. I am heartbroken at the way these animals are being treated here. I will never shop at this franchise again and I will do my best to encourage everyone else to do the same. read more

Horrible, don't come here if you want your puppy groomed. They cut my puppy's paws, butt, & under his arm. He was bleeding by his front paw when we arrived home. definitely would leave 0 stars if that were an option. I have been taking my dog here for months for the usual nail trim/grind but today I decided to pamper him and pay for the full grooming service instead of bathing him myself at home. I told the groomers upon arrival that my dog (who is only a year and a half) has severe anxiety and I have only left him for a full groom one other time. about an hour after dropping him off, I get a call saying he cracked his nail while he was in the crate and that he was bleeding. luckily, I was right down the street and walked in moments later as they were finishing his service. the first thing I asked was is he ok and did he freak out in the crate. they told me he did fine in the crate and that they noticed the bleeding once he was removed from the crate which seems highly unlikely to result in a fracturing of the nail. they proceeded to tell me his nails were brittle, stating that's why his nail broke, and asked about his diet. they insinuated that he was not getting enough omega three in his diet because I had been feeding him a poultry based diet (that he has been eating since he was adopted at 8 weeks from the humane society and they sent him home with this type of food). ultimately I was made to feel like it was my fault that this happened to my fur baby. they advised me to watch his foot for about a month and to not let him run around or play as it could completely break the nail off which would result in further bleeding which could result in an emergency visit to the vet to cauterize in order to stop the bleeding. they stated the bleeding was under control and had stopped but as soon as I got my dog into the car, there was blood all over my pants and the seat. I immediately left and called my vet and they were able to squeeze me in. they had to sedate my dog to fix his nail, give antibiotics, and further pain medication as this is a very painful procedure for a dog to have to undergo. before taking my dog home, I asked the vet if she believed his nails were brittle and if that ultimately was the reason for his nail breaking and she highly disagreed. she said his nails were not brittle at all and that it had been a result of an anxiety episode in the crate. I asked about his diet and she said there is no reason to alter his diet as he is healthy and the nails are not brittle. the vet continued to say that it's a very common injury but that they needed to own up to the mistake as it happens to the best of them when dogs are put into crates. I was able to pick up my dog and returned to feeders to try and get a refund for the full grooming service as they insinuated the situation was my fault and it resulted in almost a $300 vet bill to fix the nail. they wouldn't give me a refund other than $10 for the nail service when I paid $75 not including tip. ultimately they hurt my fur baby, insinuated I was doing something wrong in the way I was feeding him, sent me home with an injured dog that required almost $300 to fix the situation, and wasn't understanding at all when I asked for a full refund. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at Feeder's Supply and I will never give them my business again. don't trust them with your fur babies. read more

Neighborhood store Older store but staff does a great job keeping it clean. Very friendly cashiers. Sometimes the local stores have adoption events being held at the store. Or at a local craft fair etc. Manager actually helped us get some new items for the dogs. Staff member helped us and we were pretty sure we knew what we wanted. He took the time to come over and explain several differences and the pros and cons. I think we ended up getting a more expensive medication - due to his knowledge of the product. Definitely made a difference between just grabbing something and becoming a regular customer. read more

I've been taking my dogs here for baths and nail trims for years! My dad used to take his 14 year old golden retriever here, I have a pit bull and a black lab! They are so friendly and always do a wonderful job, which is extremely hard with my pit bulls separation anxiety coupled with her fear of nail trims. However they always get her nails right to the qwicks without going too far and hurting her! If I just take her in for a nail trim, it's pretty fast as well. Very impressive. They have SO many toys and treats so it takes a while to get out of the store! read more

Nice new location behind the Kroger Fuel center. We've been using this location the past several months and all have been good experiences. They offer the full line of nearly every available food for dogs and cats that I'm aware of outside of specialty foods mostly seen only at veterinarian offices. The store is extremely clean and well organized. There's a decent selection of bird/squirrel/poultry feeds. There's also a slight selection of horse feed and mineral licks for horse/cattle/deer, etc. There's a humane society adoption center located inside as well for those looking to help find these babies their furever home. I made a purchase with cash money at Feeders Supply and I had to take my purchase back when I took it back I had a receipt and it said cash money I had my return at the store had my return put on a Feeder Supply card I went back and try to use my Feeder Supply card and couldn't use it it took five people to try to use the card and they couldn't use the card to pay for my purchase that I recently made that is my decision of giving it a zero if five people can work on something you know I don't need it and if I pay with cash money I feel like I should be giving back cash money I didn't steal the product I paid for it thank you read more

Do NOT take your dog to Forest Springs Feeders Supply Location for dog/pet grooming. Clearly Feeders Supply didn't do adequate screening before hiring the groomers there. One male groomer in particular. He was Mean, rude and very rough with my small puppy. I was shocked at the cruelty right before my eyes and in front of my children who left the store in tears after hearing their furry friend crying from being mishandled by this man. I can't imagine how he mistreats these animals behind owners backs if he was treating my animals the way I observed right in front of me! I was so appalled by his behavior..... I immediately grabbed my dog from his arms and left before he was able to cause anymore harm. Secondly, I politely asked him to only trim up my pups face and showed him a picture of what I would like. I specifically mentioned I did not want my dog shaved and only puppy trim and he said he was going to shave my animals face. What?!?! If I could give zero stars I would've..... I called to talk to a supervisor there after walking out of the store and she seemed just as heartless. Zero concern for the well being of these animals and no apology....... I got nothing!!!! This Feeders is the kindest most considerate place imaginable. They take back and rehabilitate pets that could not be cared for properly in their new homes. Resell equipment at a tiny encouraging price if it was returned with a pet. They are kind to the people who come there, make sure they have coupons, and are cheerful and thoughtful making special orders ... and when they go home some have rescued animals of their own. read more
