Practically 90% of her behavior problems (like mouthing/biting, barking, jumping on people, pulling) are virtually gone in less than a day! The rest are already much improved and I'm sure those will continue to get better as we reinforce our expectations with her. I am not sure if Mary or Ruth are no longer involved, and if so, that may explain it. We picked up our dog and she was clearly very ill. She was limp and lifeless in the car. We went straight to the vet. She had a 104.5 fever and ended up spending the week at the vet. I called to ask how they could not have noticed she was so ill. I got a note of apology, which I appreciated, but they really missed this one. We have since moved to another kennel.

I've done my deep dig research, and that isn't the case. KHS says (and documents) that their practices are as follows: "Euthanasia is always the last resort and is an option only after every attempt to provide medical treatment, behavioral modification or transfer to another rescue organization has been exhausted. Each decision is made carefully using criteria outlined by national standards within the humane industry."
