I like the layout of this studio space and how customers can walk through and see what beauty and spa services are offered in each suite while the owners can still maintain privacy and comfort with their clients. I have received services from two different salons and the owners at both were very kind. I had great experiences in both.Whenever I pass through, there are always customers so I think it is a great place to open up a salon. Each suite is pretty small, but it's fairly clean with two big communal restrooms that are also spotless. The only thing about this place is probably the ventilation. There's always a lingering smell of either bleach or some other hair chemical whenever I walk in.

I rarely wear my curly hair straight but had been doing so for a few weeks and decided to give a blow out at this spot a whirl. It's a salon with all independent contractor stylists, so it was a gamble to find one free. Indeed the lovely Ms. Lilly was able to accommodate a walk in and welcomed me. She washed my hair and proceeded to give me the smoothest, healthiest looking blow out going. Ms. Lilly was so sweet and I'll tell you--there was a pleasant vibe all around the place. Everyone was friendly and chatting away...it really reminded me of old school salons (home in NY) when I was little. Special afternoon.

I have been using Britney for…read moreat least 3 years & because I am severely immune compromised I needed a covid safe hairdresser who would wear a respirator. I found Brittney originally through a Facebook group when inquiring where to find a covid safe hair stylist & she answered. Britney's son is also immune compromised so she understands and has no problem wearing a K95 or N95. I was able to the first appt with Brittney which for immune compromised is best when there are less people in the bldg & she is very accommodating. Brittney does beautiful work with cut & color and she understands hair health. I have always been covering up my greys and my dark hair however when recovering from Long Covid I had severe breakage & hair loss and Brittney said we should wait to color it again because the hair was too weak. Prior to getting long covid we had done things like keratin treatments & relaxers to smooth out my frizzy curls. I was really excited when after many months of recovering we were finally able to color my hair again to cover the greys. Many hair dressers will take someone's money & just color it but Brittney is looking at the long game with the health of your hair and so you can keep it in the best shape possible. I am always very happy with the cut & style Brittney does & being able to color it again finally has given me confidence back after the damage Covid has done to my once beautiful hair. Brittney will suggest shampoos & conditioners to take home which I often have bought but she is never pushy about it. I have recently 2 covid conscious local aquaintances to her and I'm not yet sure if they have gone but I know having a hair dresser who understands hair health is very important. I would recommend wearing a Kn95 or Kn94 with ear loops because it is easier for Brittney or any hair dresser to cut & wash & condition & color your hair with the ear loops versus the respirators with the headstraps. I just double my K95s. I also bring in a mini hepa filter as well as a mini mobile far uvc light because I'm not sure what the ventilation system is in the bldg. There are several stations hairdressers & beauty professionals can rent from which is an interesting concept. I would just suggest to the owner of the building to look into the Grants from the EPA for clean air healthy bldgs & invest in upper room Far UVC light and have it on the the ceiling or wall of each station. Not all Far UVC requires an electrician to install but you do want it filtered & UL certified for safety. I would also recommend every station have a hepa filter as well in addition to Far UVC Light. The UV lights used in HVAC systems are good for mold & mildew but not airborne pathogens only Far UVC stops transmission. Having all 3 is ideal and many bldg owner aren't yet aware they can get grants through the EPA.

Was lied to and manipulated while she pretended to be friendly while milking the clock to charge me more . She was bragging about overcharging clients because they are rich. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in Boca. I am so unhappy with what was done to my hair by the girl Brook Lang. suite 130. I was charged $750 for my hair color and my hair looks the same as when I walked in. I was told that my hair will be about 3 hours long, mean while it took over 5 hours. Brook was taking her time as I perceive it now as just careless. I say this because we agreed on 3 hours and she charged me for more. She charged me for a consultation which should be free! I explained to her how unhappy I am with my hair and how I wanted a refund or at least a partial refund. It looks like nothing changed. She said no, she clearly ignored my call and messages in which I provided videos and pictures with showing how it's orange red and nothing changed, she's left all my messages on read and the only thing she said is that she is not going to refund me or help me out. She told me before we were going to start the hair process that my hair was going to end up looking like a honey blonde or caramel blonde. I was satisfied with her saying that, but the outcome was the opposite of what she said to me. She completely ignored the fact that I am unhappy, The fact that I have proof that she said it will take three hours, the fact that I have proof that my hair color did not really change at all, and it's almost the same color as when I walked into the salon. She also asked me if I wanted a money piece on the front which I said yes and then she put a dark hair dye to cover it at the end in which you can't see the money piece at all! She told me she will not give me a refund or any type of help and she blocked me! I paid $750 for nothing !!! I have never in my life experienced something like this in Florida with no hair stylist! Like never ever! And I've also never paid so much for my hair to not see a bit of a change! She is extremely Very unprofessional and very careless, she just doesn't give a f period! The first two are before pictures and the last two are after pictures of what she did. I only communicated with her through Instagram about this immediately after I saw my hair in natural light because she is off today or else I would've came in. Price $200+ Services Hair coloring Requested style Color correction Brook Lang said that the color will be a honey caramel blonde in which we agreed on.
