Unfortunately, they weren't open, so we tried again the following evening and got seated immediately as the place was empty except for one other customer. Naturally, the customer service was great as the place was empty. The menu is all in French but the prices were standard from small appetizers to entrees with seafood, pasta and other Asian creations. I was even pleasantly surprised they serve Udon! But I opted for the Pad Thai with chicken, not shrimp and it was fine. Not the best I've had, but fine. With a side of lime, the dipping sauce was delightful! The only question my aunt and I had was why they didn't include peanuts with the dish. Although she enjoyed her shrimp pad Thai, there weren't peanuts in hers either. We also had a side of chicken wontons which were forgettable since we could barely taste the middle. The side sauce had a kick to it which is great if you like spicy. We had water since it was such a hot day and got loads of refills. All in all, my bill came to about 13$ which is standard. Parking is on the street, otherwise the Cremazie station is about a ten minute walk away.

The guy who manages the meats asked what my plans for the meat were and when I told him it was for sausage he had plenty of helpful advice. There were lot's of pork shoulders to pick from, so no waiting 24 to 48hrs like with some butchers and they will even ground up the meat for you if you ask saving you that first step. Can't see myself going anywhere else from now on.. Now that summer is coming fast I'm looking forward to buying there again so I can make some pulled pork and bratwurst sausages.

A check on their website it's almost 40 years old and supplies over 300 restaurants! Holy schnikey's! their pasta must be good! So I had to make the trek down there to check to see if it was the real deal. Having a bit of a tough time (based on their selection) I ended up getting a one kilogram bag of their mini ravioli plus 2 packages of their fresh meat cannelloni. There is pretty much any kind of fresh pasta you can think of here for purchase! Also most red or white sauces you can think of! One other thing I will also try is their fresh gnocchi. You see....package gnocchi just tastes gross, pasty and salty! After having the real deal in Italy I must find something similar! The Maison du Rav is located in a semi industrial, semi residential neighbourhood. Inside it's a pasta factory with large bins in the display window. Tonight we tried the mini ravioli. It's real meat! Not the sawdust "non meat" discernible type you find at most grocery stores! The next Monday ( I chose Monday as the delivery) I just had to leave the previous week cooler with clean containers outside the door and someone came to pick it up, while delivering the new meals for the week! The menu is pretty varied , but if you have your weekly favourite- they are there too! I tried some of their desserts and pantry items- absolutely amazing! I love the vegetarian meals and they always have a selection of those and they are just so tasty! They have different types of vege bowls, fish and tofu..... Love them! I have been using them throughout the quarantine and never stopped a week! Plus they have a reward system- I now get a 45$ discount every 8 weeks or so! Just can't express my gratitude enough for all their hard work of feeding us! Merci!
