We were greeted by Sally as we entered. I told her my sore feet story and what I was looking for Sally brought out 4 different brands and explained each brands strong points. I tried on all of them, Sally was great no rush she knows her shoes. I decided on a pair of all black HOKA Clifton's. A good quality shoe costs more these days but I deserve it. Instead of helping resolve an issue that was caused by an error in their own system, they handled the situation with very little concern. Ruth was especially rude and unprofessional. Rather than listening or trying to help find a solution, she was dismissive and impolite. A situation that could have been resolved respectfully turned into a very negative experience because of how it was handled by staff. The staff at this location are a poor representation of the WSS brand. Customer service should involve treating people with respect and working toward solutions, especially when the issue is on the company's end. If management continues to tolerate this kind of behavior, it will only damage the reputation of this store and drive customers away. I hope WSS takes customer feedback seriously.

She then located another store that had the correct shoe size. Called that store for them to hold that shoe size so that I could drive across town to pick it up. I thought that was excellent Customer Service and beyond my expectation. She didn't have double check on the converse if they were for a man or woman to make sure the shoe size was correct? Her taking that extra step made my shopping experience amazing. I was in such a hurry I forgot to get her name but I'm driving back over there today and find out and trying to speak to a manager personally about her. They are having really good sales right now. This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.
