The supervisor and customer service that helped me proceeded to talk about teaching someone's kid Spanish- and made a derogatory remark about Asians- and said, "my bad someone's in the store!" They'd fit strange, too tight around the ankle, too loose around the widest part of my foot. I'd fiddled and adjusted and just wasn't happy so I brought in a pair of boots that I'd bought months before and asked for a refund. There was no drama, no issue, no problem. 10 minutes later I had a new pair of shorts and $40 or $50 refunded to my credit card and I was back in the car.
