Had fairly "unbeatable" tickets. One for a stop sign and one for seatbelt. My 15 year old sister in the back seat was not buckled up and apparently she must be. When was the last time you saw a teenager in a back seat with seatbelt on? If those tickets went through, I would be facing fines, points, insurance hike and NY's "driver responsibility assessment" fee of $300. Because apparently if you pay the fee, state considers you to be a safe driver? What? I found these people after a very quick google search and was fairly skeptical. But gave it a shot anyway. Submitted my info and got a callback from an attorney. Explained the situation and was told how the process will work. They took care of everything. I was on vacation out of the country and received an email from their office administrator telling me that all tickets were dismissed! First time attempting to protest a ticket. This LLC charged me flat rate of $300 so they would show up in court; but could not guarantee anything. They lost. I guess I am disappointed that it was not a very transparent process, they did not want to hear anything about why I was challenging nor review the probabilities of winning. They just took my credit card number and said they would represent me without communicating on the 'how' or 'why' my ticket could get dismissed. And in reality, they had no incentive to win the case, so I was not surprised it was a guilty verdict. I can't even guarantee F&G LLC rep showed up to the hearing, or attempted to challenge it. My lesson for future is to do proper research and meet in person with lawyers before purchasing services that offer no incentive for them to represent me. Overall this LLC is probably no more than a racket. But let's face it, that is how most of this city functions, from the lawyers to the officers to the courts to every other corner of industry in NYC; it all just a milieu of inflated premiums, unscrupulous brokers and businessmen, money-laundering-foreign-based LLCs purchasing luxury apartments, exorbitant taxes, and legally protected mobsters. NYC used to ALSO be the gateway to the new world, and has a rich history of renaissance artistic movements, but today its devoid of humanity. First off they not only did not win and they will not win your cases they actually did not pay a fee so I had gotten my license suspended because of the fools that work here. My wife had received 5 tickets for illegally crossing into the HOV lane over the double lines without singling in Nassau county. Needless to say I was not happy. A friend recommended Feifer & Greenberg. I found Scott Feifer to be very straight forward and let me know that there are no guarantees. I agreed to proceed with them and paid my fee. I don't know exactly what happened, but a week later I received and email that the 5 tickets were basically reduce to 2 minor infractions, No points and a $380 fine. I only used these guys for the free consultation on a NYC traffic ticket but they were extremely helpful. I emailed them and they called back first thing the next morning. They answered all of my questions and advised it would be best to just pay the ticket in my case. They do seem to charge very reasonable flat rate fees though so would use them if the need arises. read more

I received a speeding ticket in NYC area near Bronx, coming home from Bruckner Expressway. Conveniently the cop had me going 74mph in a 50mph zone. Right above the 21 mile cutoff ensuring I would be hit with 6pts and $300 DRA fine, on top of the $195 ticket. I did some research and from everything I read on the internet, it seemed that NYC TVB did not plea bargain so it was all or none if you tried to dispute your ticket. I did a bunch of research on all of the traffic lawyers online. Feifer, Weiss and number of others I forget the names (one was previously a judge). They all charge around the same amount. Feifer charged me $350. They all say they can get you off but if you press them about NYC TVB, they will backtrack with a disclaimer. It's a volume business so you won't get the top guy representing you during trial. Read the reviews, it's usually some employee of their firms. They got this business down to a science. Some of the tricks that I discovered they use were to postpone a hearing until they could get a "friendly" judge. Whatever that means. Or if the cop doesn't show up on the day of the hearing. The case is thrown out. If they do show-up, try to find mistakes in how they recall the events of that day or perhaps they incorrectly wrote up the ticket. I got my original ticket around 5/2013. Had a few postponement before I finally got a verdict in 3/2014. 10 months later. I was a bit surprised to find that the judge reduced my points down to 4 and charged me $130 fine. Given that if I had been penalized the full amount it would have cost me 6pt and $195 + $300 versus 4pt and $350 + $130. I basically saved 2 pts, $15 and time in court. Was it worth it? Yes I would say so, since that 10 month wait is counted against my rolling 18 month period so there are only 8 more months left before the points are off my record. I was really surprised at the point reduction since everything I read seemed to indicate "all or none" verdict. The secret sauce might be the "friendly" judge. ;) I wholeheartedly recommend Feifer & Greenberg. Scott Feifer was responsive. Their website was very informative. Their staff was spot-on. If you do get caught speeding in NYC (please don't), give them a try. read more

Let me start by saying I'm well aware that beating tickets are not guaranteed. That being said, I've had zero luck on multiple tickets with these traffic ticket lawyers. But the 0% success rate is not why I'm giving them 1 star. The reason they're getting this rating is due to incompetence issues. The way these traffic ticket lawyers work is they take ~$300 from you per ticket. In return they keep pushing back/rescheduling the case and hope they get seen by a more lenient judge. After pushing the case back a couple of times, the courts request a $40 bond be paid in order to reschedule the case one final time. This lawyer office told me I can pay this bond through their office with an additional $5 convenience fee. No big deal. I paid the bond through their office within the 30 days. Here's where things get bad. THEY PAID THE FEE TO THE COURTS LATE. This caused me to have my drivers license suspended for a couple of weeks. Not only did I have no idea my license was suspended, I was driving around unknowingly with a suspended license. I received a notice of suspension in the mail and was told by the traffic ticket lawyers office to disregard it. I only found out about the suspension still being on my record when my insurance company pointed it out. I get a hard copy of my driver abstract and sure enough, I have a suspension on it. So not only did I spend hundreds of dollars just to lose (which is something I willingly risked using their services), I ended up getting my license suspended because of them. Also my car insurance rates skyrocketed because of the suspension. I'll never use them again, and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for representation. read more

I received a ticket that I thought was fairly indisputable but given the magnitude of the potential points and fine decided to give Feifer & Greenberg a try. As the months and months and months went by with them constantly postponing the hearing I have to admit I was getting skeptical that all they were doing was delaying the inevitable but then, low and behold, there was a mail saying the violation had been dismissed. Throughout the process they sent regular email updates so you know you haven't fallen in between the cracks which gave me great comfort they didn't forget about me and potentially subjecting me to more legal risks. I don't know what they said or how they had the matter dismissed but if I'm ever on the receiving end of a another violation I'd be a fool not to secure their services immediately. HUGE HELP. Great resource. These attorneys were an enormous help to me after I got a ticket for driving in the HOV lane of the LIE. They were able to fight the ticket and get a reduced number of points on my behalf. They are realistic in their representation and educated me that there are no guarantees and even less chance of winning or even plea bargaining in the Queens county court of law. Who knew? It started fairly well, my ticket was processed quickly and I got timely info about the results of the first hearing. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. I was not getting timely updates about the subsequent hearings (in the beginning they have promised to update me on the following day of each hearing). There was a miscommunication about a date of one hearing, which caused some unneeded consternation. The office seemed to be somewhat disorganized with a receptionist having difficult time finding my paperwork almost EVERY TIME I called. Her typical excuse was that they had several clients with similar names - really?! The general attitude of the receptionist was unfriendly and even snippy. Every time I called I felt I was a nuisance to them. In the end when it turned out my license may be suspended Matt stepped in and the things got a little bit more organized. Nedless to say, they did not win my case and I have never received my bond payment back. All in all, a poor experience with a lot of stress involved. Avoid! read more

Feifer and Greenberg did a great job showing up at court and delaying my case as long as they could. However, that is all they did right. The receptionist does have an attitude and talks if they are a "ghetto" law firm. My advice to the firm, find someone with a proper image to model how you want the law firm to be - elegant, honest, etc. The attorney Matt did tell me it wasn't guaranteed but he did have the confidence when he spoke to me that he was going to get this case dismissed. The fee for $300 was definitely reasonable for the case. However, I paid $700 and got out of a worse ticket with a better attorney - so I guess I should have listened to myself originally and hired him instead of a transactional attorney. Meaning, money in hand and hands it off to a fresh out of graduate school attorney who loses a case because he or she (which was Andrea this time and only time) has no connections. Matt did follow up with me as asked, and that's commendable as well. After losing, Matt tried to sell me on the idea the officer was flawless and more convincing (but then back tracked the convincing statement). Anyways, I commend them on showing up and trying. However, like I learned from the best - trying doesn't count for sh.. In the real world. You're either a closer or a loser, and that is that. Keep in mind this law firm barely wins NYC cases - I would NOT hire this law firm and would just plead it out with the judge - unless you have money like myself - and don't want to show up! I'm not one to make recommendations using Yelp, but I felt compelled to do so with my situation. I'm from out of state and received a cell phone ticket in Manhattan approximately 14 months ago. I reached out to Feifer & Greenberg in regards to my dilemma and what I liked about the lawyer I spoke with was straight forward and honest about my chances of a dismissal. "It can can go either in your favor or not, but I'll do my best to get it dismissed". I paid a flat rate and he has been to court 3 different times to represent me even with postponements, remember he isn't being paid to go back and forth to court. Even though my court case hasn't been resolved yet I feel that I have won either way having a dedicated lawyer going to court this many times and not giving up. If you're looking for entertainment, I suggest you definitely go to Feifer and Greenberg, because this Law Firm is a big fat joke! I hired this law firm to represent me in court for failure to yield to traffic when turning left in one of the Bureaus of New York. I live in South Jersey, which is about 2 hours from the city, and so I was told that I shouldn't appear in court with the lawyer. To make a long story short, I received this ticket in Novemer of 2015. I hired F A G, LLC almost 2 years ago to represent me. A month later I get a call that they are postponing my case for six months, for the strategic purpose of getting a better judge, to which I am forced to have this ticket hanging over my head for 6 months. These 6 months go by and I get an email that my case has been postponed another 6 or so months, which angered me deeply since that's a year of having my case postponed for a damn traffic ticket. That time goes by and I get yet another email, this time postponed for 9 months. Finally 10/10/17 came my court date, and the next day I get an email from them saying that they could not win my case. COULDN'T WIN MY CASE FOR A DAMN TRAFFIC TICKET AFTER 2 YEARS OF TRYING! When questioned about why this happened, his response was that the cop's testimony was too good for them to fight it. But, isn't that what a lawyer is supposed to know how to do? One of two possible things could have happened here in my opinion. One, they didn't put enough effort in fighting this, or two, they didn't have the expertise to deal with this HARD case. So, two years went by, and all I got out of this was stress over a ticket which I didn't even deserve, a fine of 98 dollars, 3 points on my insurance, and a 250 dollar charge to the lawyer. And to make matter worse, I didn't even get a call from the lawyer; I had to hunt Mr. Greenberg down for 3 days to talk to him. Their customer service has the same vibe that a large corporation has: Make as much money as possible, and screw the client. This is the first and only lawyer that I've ever hired that I felt like cared about making a few bucks from me so much, that as long as he appeared in court for me, that's all that matters. Win or lose, he already has his money because I paid up front. I'm not normally an emotional person, but this had to be said, because I don't want anybody to waste two years waiting to be found not guilty, only to be found guilty at the end and being hundreds of dollars in the hole, when you can just find a better lawyer who actually cares and knows what he or she is doing. Like I said before, while it is quite entertaining to watch someone be so bad at their job, if you actually want a serious lawyer go elsewhere!!! read more

I post this because, I am convinced by personal experience that I could have done better without having to shell out hundreds of dollars to this llc. First off, I am sure that from reading the transcript of the hearing of my case, not much effort was expended by the representative they sent to take care of my tickets. Not much beyond telling me that I need not be present in court and that they will take care of the case. I received two tickets, for allegedly failure to yield to crossing pedestrian while turning. The zealous cop issued two such tickets within 0ne minute apart. There was no taking any evidence by me and any helpful suggestions as to what their defense would be. I just want to make my point that I would have cross examined the zealous cop, somewthing that was not done by the representative attornney they sent. I don't intend to bad mouth the outfit, but I could have done better on my own had I been presnt at that hearing without the benefit of Counsel. read more

In a very short period of time they lost 2 of my traffic cases. I've been giving most of my traffic tickets to this lawyer since 2004. In the beginning this guy was really good. He helped me win many traffic tickets before,but I guess now he has too many clients to handle. Just lost 4 points recently , and his assistants were very kind to inform me that I would have to pay the fine within 2 weeks.
