On February 12, I left work early, I am a teacher, and drove from the Bronx to the 365 Dental…read moreForest Hills location for what was supposed to be a follow up visit because I was not helped at the LIC location. At LIC, they explained they did not have the specific materials needed to address my implant issue. However, the doctor there was warm, professional, and genuinely tried to help me. I was specifically told that the Forest Hills location would be able to assist. I was in the Forest Hills office for about three minutes. I came in with loose upper crowns from a dental implant procedure I had done in Turkey. Dr. Schlesinger walked in, refused to shake my hand, and stood at a distance. He did not perform an examination. He did not turn on a light, did not touch my crowns, and did not assess the area. He asked me to open my mouth briefly, and without physically examining the crowns, he stated that I should go back to Turkey or wherever I had the procedure done and have them fix it because he did not know. He then walked out. There was no clinical assessment and no attempt to evaluate the issue. At the 365 Dental Forest Hills location, the dental assistant, a woman with dark hair, glasses, and a ponytail, was present during this interaction and appeared visibly uncomfortable as it unfolded. I took the instruction literally and flew back to Turkey. When I arrived, I was informed they could not assist because the manufacturer of the implant components is based in Israel and Turkey has severed ties. As a result, I am now pursuing treatment with ClearChoice to replace the crowns and possibly the implants. I have been a patient with 365 Dental for about six years. This experience at the Forest Hills location was unacceptable. After this interaction with Dr. Schlesinger, I will not be returning.

I was nervous, but the doctor and staff were extremely accommodating and helped make me feel comfortable. Do not use this practice - I called asking to see one of the…read moredentist for TMJ treatment. I was given a next day appointment with Dr. Tabaroki, the TMJ specialist. I asked if they took my insurance and was told yes. I received a call and text that same day confirming my appointment. After waiting over an hour to see Dr. Tabaroki, I was told he was not working that day - I asked why the appointment was scheduled in the first place if he wasn't working that day and why didn't someone call me the morning of the appointment to tell me he wouldn't be in and to reschedule - all I got was apologies. Dr. Michael gave me a 5 minute exam and told me I had to come back to see Dr. Tabaroki. I was then told by staff that the insurance they said was accepted did not cover TMJ and the treatment would cost $1,500. The office is located in a very busy part of Queens Blvd - If you're driving, they do not provide parking and street parking is all but nonexistent - I ended up paying $27 to park in a lot 8 blocks away. Because of the confusion of the staff, the misinformation, and the bad location, I would not recommend this dental practice at all.

Three years later, I consulted two other practices they all told me the root canal procedure was not properly done and left the teeth with a lot of chronical infection. Do not go to this place as they only care about getting money from you not your teeth health.

I believed her but was wary because I take care of my teeth so I told her to only fill the 2 worst ones. It has been many years now and no dentist that I have seen since said that I have any cavities, so she definitely lied. During the explanation of why she thought I had cavities, she stuck a tool into the crevice of my teeth and started shaking it so my head would move a little and said something along the lines of "you see, I can move your head so that's a cavity". I also had a problem with one tooth and she suggested a deep cleaning when I clearly needed a root canal. Luckily I was in the process of moving and saw another dentist who told me that based on my x-rays, I needed a root canal and that a deep cleaning wouldn't have solved the problem. During this visit I also paid my deductible when I was in the office. A few weeks pass by and I receive a bill in the mail for my deductible, which was unbelievable. This office seems disorganized and the doctor seems to only care about money, which is very disturbing. Please choose a different dentist as I would never recommend this one.
