She is patient, open minded, talented, intuitive, and caring. I used to hate doctors until I started seeing her. She has seen me through the ups and downs of the last 8 years of my medical history. I actually look forward to visits with her (even when I'm feeling like total crap!) just because she is SUCH a pleasure to be around. I am only knocking off one star because of other staff members. I have had to see other doctors at the practice when she was booked and I did not like their bedside manner and one time I was even misdiagnosed. Most of the time the office staff is great, but I have had a few experiences where they were rude or impatient. In particular, I went to an after hours appointment recently and thought the only young woman working behind the front counter crossed the line from rude to a little nasty. Minor annoyances aside, SFP, in particular Dr. G, is fantastic!

Just this week I sent a message to my PCP asking for a certain medication and amount along with the pharmacies name where I wanted my prescription sent because my insurance was going to pay a big chunck of it and I would get more for less money! Well someone, it seems, didn't READ what I wrote and completely F'd it up. So now, I need to make an appointment with my PCP to see where the F-up accured. This place has constantly gone down hill ever since it went to Honor Health.

When I tried to call it was said "a supervisor removed you and they are not here right now" So if you you disagree with their practices and challenge the items that never took place, you are ghosted. You might ask.... was I rude? No, we never even had a conversation over the phone. Did you do something to them? Yes I challenged charges for items that never took place in the appointment. I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam of a place at all costs!

I've NEVER encountered a healthcare professional like this in my life. I guess the entire lobby filled with supplements and the printed sign by check in stating "due to so many cancellations, you will now be charged for missed appointments". Good luck with charging me. Made an appointment with Dr. Bruce Sobel. First visit ...I had to wait an hour to see the doctor......not a great first impression. During the exam I found Larry Sobel more interested in letting me know how much $$$ he made in the market recently than dealing with any medical issues I had. Had the exam and told him I wouldn't come back if waiting an hour was typical. He assured me it wasn't . Next appointment I waited an hour and a half and still never got to see Sobel. I walked out and told the office I wouldn't be back. Immediately found a new family doc. I take a blood pressure medication every day. Unbeknownst to me Sobel's office was the last medical practice to order this particular medication so the pharmacy contacted them them to OK a refill. They decided not to and simply ignored the multiple fax requests. I found Larry Sobel to be condescending, disrespectful and a little too arrogant. He may be a great doctor but he runs his practice like his sh*t doesn't stink.
