Apparently they…read morecompletely deleted my account and removed me from the practice without ever saying a word to me regarding it. When I tried to call it was said "a supervisor removed you and they are not here right now" So if you you disagree with their practices and challenge the items that never took place, you are ghosted. You might ask.... was I rude? No, we never even had a conversation over the phone. Did you do something to them? Yes I challenged charges for items that never took place in the appointment. I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam of a place at all costs!

I have hypothyroidism and my husband is diabetic. The quality of our life has improved greatly since we began care under Dr. Shin. My thyroid levels are normal for the first time in many years. I was recently diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes by my previous primary care physician. Ran into some…read morereal issues with the meds and had to call Teledoc for assistance and direction. They assessed the information I provided and recommended I check out urgent care at Regent and that they could get me in within the hour. I headed over to the urgent care, they took my information and got started with the review of my vitals etc. They noted that I was very dehydrated and sugar was very high. I was given 4 bags of fluids and a shot for my queasiness. Wendy and Michelle were so AWESOME!! They treated me like I was their only patient. They were genuinely concerned. Very personable, informative and knowledgeable. They were concerned as to why my previous physician had prescribed a total of 3 medications which caused more issues than solving. Needless to say, at that point I asked if I could switch to their office for my Primary Care. Once all was completed with me, they got me the form to complete to change my primary to them. I'm all about recognition where it's due. It is definitely due here. They are the real thing. Their office is very unassuming at the end of a strip mall but the service is top notch!! What finally caused me to write this review unfortunately has nothing to do with the provider herself, it's the company's process. Today's call to make an appointment ended with asking for my insurance information and reminding me (first time I've heard this) that they do NOT verify insurance, it is my job to do so. WHAT?! Since when did this became their policy? So if you don't fully understand what the comment means, IF YOUR INSURANCE IS OUT OF NETWORK AND YOU DIDNT CAL YOUR INSURANCE TO CHECK YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A BILL that would most likely have been covered or had a higher coverage rate had you gone to an in network Dr. So if this isn't a problem for you make sure you always verify with your insurance because they can be in network for one visit but for a future appointment no longer be in network.

Are these new drs willing to work or is it just a social status: I AM A DR..... Sorry but I have been myself a dr for many years in a different country: I was at the office in person, welcoming the patients (no need of an unsmiling and seemed to be bothered person) attentive to the patient and taking time to talk to them. The attitude I encountered in this office in the last months is surprising, shameful and unacceptable. It is so far from the Hippocratic Oath that I took, that these drs took. It is amazing but when back home I went to the portal and could not get into. It took a few minutes for this unsmiling and seemed to be bothered lady to take me out of the portal, meaning I cannot get my file to go to a new dr. This lady will have another visit from me because my file belongs to me. Please AVOID this office, but anyway I don't give a long time before this office disappears. (again my personal opinion). After reading the comments on here, I'm seeing a pattern of long term patients being forced to find other forms of care. It's unfortunate that continuity of care is not being considered for those of us that dedicated years to this practice. I tried to make an appointment with Dr Henson (as its stated on the website that is accepting new patients) and I received a cancellation email with generic reasons why the appointment was cancelled. If the new MountainviewFP isn't taking care of of patients, why have a website, phone number, etc?
