I was in your Liberty store on 5/20/26. Went to bird section and 2 young employees were standing around and it looked like they were flirting with each other. I asked where the squirrel poisons were and they seemed irritated with me for even interfering with their conversation. The young lady pointed me to aisle 35. Went to check out and this was my interaction with cashier --- Cashier : did you find everything you were looking for? ME: No, I didn't. Cashier: Ok What the heck? Do you not train your employees in customer service or at the very least how to interact with buyers. Don't they understand that I am the one contributing to their paychecks. I don't understand whether Feldman's doesn't care or the employees aren't being trained. Ugh!!! read more

I went today to get bales of straw for my animals. The employee fell twice because they have not plowed or put any salt down. No attempt whatsoever also had to climb up a broken ladder into the semi trailer. I felt so horrible for the employee. I don't know that I'll ever spend any money here again just seems like any effort at all would have avoided such a situation. Not sure how they keep any decent employees when they're treated so horribly. read more

I'm not a social media person. Don't like doing what I am about to do. But this store is what I love about local, brick and mortar shops. People greet you when you walk in. Not a fake mktg greeting. But a genuine - how ya doing? And the service is simply what we all used to expect back in the day of retail shopping - helpful, informative, they know where everything is, they help because they want to help, not simply because it is their job. refused to honor 90 day returns for "guaranteed to grow" fall golden raspberry plants! Josh, the manager, was very rude. when I asked for his supervisor, he told me to call the owner, Serene Feldman, but refused to give me her phone number. i purchased 3 fall golden raspberry bush stems in May 2024. I followed the instructions and none of them even grew leaves ! the packaging indicated that the company would refund my money with "guaranteed to grow" policy but Feldman's Farm & Home, Liberty MO refused to honor it. Liberty Store Never Buy a Bad Boy from these guys. I asked if the price on the mower was the total price. I was told yes, there were no other cost. I wanted to pay tax and dealer prep out of pocket not borrow the money for anything but the mower. I waited two hours for the paperwork to be completed when it came out there was 750 dealer prep and 500 in tax. I took it home it does not work for me. I added options to make ergonomically better but none of that worked. I went to Feldman's to try to upgrade to a better Bad Boy the told me they wouldn't do that so now I have to sell this unusable nightmare I paid almost 7000 for and try to find a good mower. I used come specifically for the Trophy's shavings. Whatever idiot decided that the shavings they get now are better has never cleaned a stall before. Or they're just too lazy to add these to the order. I'm not going to be purchasing anything from Feldmans until they get the Trophy's back. And I'd like to think I'm a good customer. I buy all my grain, shavings, and horse treats from them for my boarding facility and lesson program. Good luck to anyone who tries the new shavings. The whole Stihl department has not only proved to be lacking in knowledge of their products and the industry as a a whole. But, there are never employees there to even ask a question (that they likely have no clue how to answer). I've probably spent more than an hour total just standing there. Waiting for someone. Anyone. Someone to sell me thousands of dollars of equipment. Then, when they finally do show up, their face is covered. This is terribly disrespectful (I'm not sure why I have to be the one to say this). I want to see the person I'm handing my credit card or bills to. It's disturbing to think there are managers who allow this. Granted, it's 2023, look around - nobody wants to work (thanks Boomers). I am currently waiting until the new Ace hardware store opens to take my business to. Feldman's, you should have just stayed Hy-vee. Purchased a brand new pull behind spreader for my tractor mower today. Got it home started to put it together and it was missing a part. So asked if I could exchange it and was told by a manager that it's not there policy and they could order the part for me. Keep in mind I bought this 5 hrs ago, spent over $700 there and drove 40 minutes to exchange it. Not sure why they couldn't just give me the part I was missing from another box ( which they had 5 more in stock ) and when they got the part they could just put it in the other box and sale it. No harm, no foul. Now I got to wait on the part and to put fertilizer down. Horrible policy & customer service. Would never buy anything there again. read more

Ridiculously bad service. Or I should have said, no service at all. I was ninth in line at the checkout today. There was a "problem". Isn't there always? No manager, a checker who was clueless, and a bunch of irate shoppers. After a few minutes, another employee opened another lane. Well, guess what? A customer came in with some kind a return "problem" which he took to the exit end of the checkout. You guessed it....the checker had no idea of what to do. No manager, no helpful staff at checkout. Took me 5 minutes just to get through this checkout. Behind one other customer! The slogan at Feldmans should be Everything Is A Problem At Feldmans! Obviously, no owner or manager reads the Yelp reviews. read more

Nothing good to say regarding this company. For years I have found feed stalls empty. Time and time again. 9 reviews posted and 27 fake reviews by Feldmans not posted. That's tells you much. Management in the Liberty store is beyond horrid. They simply don't care. If you bring a issue to their attention, they avoid you and label you as a "complainer". Who would not complain when they shop Feldmans time and time again and find no product. Add to the pathetic attitude of management, I am 70 years old with serious orthopedic problems. Over the past 5 years, Feldmans employees have helped me load multiple bags of feed maybe 5 times. I buy weekly, bi-weekly during fall and winter. As for my review......I seldom write a review but people need to know that Feldmans management simply don't give a flying rats rump. If you see a review with the word "great" you can bet that review is planted. There is NOTHING "great" about Fledmans in Liberty. I will find another place to shop, one that will offer customer service and appreciate my business. read more

Several weeks ago I found a Feldman's ad that offered a tune-up for my Stihl chain saw for $65. My saw had been sitting on the shelf for a few years so I took it to the local Feldman's Blue Springs store and told them **specifically** that I wanted the **$65 tune-up** service. They wrote up the ticket, charged me a $37.50 up-front fee, and said "It'll be at least four weeks". They just called and said they inspected it and it will be $125 on top of the $37.50 I already paid. When I reminded the person that I only wanted the $65 tune-up, he disavowed any knowledge of such an offer. I will set foot in Feldman's once more to get my saw but never again. A more classic version of "bait and switch" you will never find. Now I'm out $37.50 and my saw still needs a tune-up. I am thoroughly disgusted with this place . EDIT: The store manager "reached out to me" but it was clear from the start that he was angry about wasting his time to make the call. He did apologize for the "confusion" but there was no contrition in his voice and it was clear his apology was forced. He never offered to refund my $37.50 or to honor the $65 tune up ad. read more

I bought my Bad Boy mower at Feldmans for over $5000 last year. The mower has a bad bearing in the front wheel. I brought it in for warranty repair but I had to pay a $40 deposit to drop it off. I have taken it to Dortons in Orrick when I asked about having to leave a deposit they laughed and said no we don't do anything like that we will call you when it's done. read more

The manager, Daniel, is rude. When I told him that I waited 10 minutes to get help (although front clerk tried to get me help twice) and that they didn't have the item in stock (although their website said that they had it in stock), he made excuses rudely and then hung up on me. I will never shop at Feldman's again. Orsheln's or Tractor Supply has a much nicer store, up to date website, better prices, and great customer service. read more

You would think the store was located in Westport! You can't look at any implements, fencing , tanks, gates, etc (you know FARM & HOME supplies) because they keep it all locked up, behind a tall fence down the street from the store. Weird thing is they have a large, EMPTY parking lot where ALL the items could go right in front of the store. Check out an Orchelins store sometime. Drive up to with in 2 ft of all the items you would like to look at and then actually be able to purchase. read more

Very sad. I called for a replacement part on a mower. They said they would take care of it and cover the cost. When I came in to pick it up they then insisted on charging me and didn't believe me. Asked for the manager and she literally looked at me and said she was on lunch. I would love to shop local but frankly the service and lack of caring makes it tough at Feldmans. I've spent thousands at Feldmans over the past three years and they've lost my business over a $30 part they said they would cover. Very sad read more

My old weed trimmer recently died, so I stopped at Feldman's to see what the Stihl products. I wandered around that area of the store looking at their products. I was there almost 20 minutes. Several employees saw me and walked right by me. No one ever asked if I needed help. I will be going to Northland Feed and buying another brand. read more

Left my machine to be repaired with Feldmans. I finally got it back 2-months later. Charged me almost $1,000. In the end, their repairs didn't even fix the problem that I took it to them for. On top of all that, they broke a part on my machine unrelated to the repairs and wouldn't replace it. I am done with Feldmans! read more

This place is a joke nvr take your stihl products here I had a semi running brand new br800 blower dropped it off for service was told they were back up by a month I just went and retrieved my now completely broken br800 blower with piston slap two months later no one ever called me absolutely worst service I've ever had and on top of all that these sheisters weren't honest and tried to charge me for a complete rebuild that I now need since taking it to these jokers that's ok though Feldmans I've got deep pockets I'll pay someone else to fix your horrendous screw up it just won't be you and I most certainly will be spreading the word oh and take some customer service classes I arrived at the store five minutes before opening and some jerk was in the entry way when I walked up and started yelling at me "we are not open yet" over and over shewing me away pothetic jokers and as I was walking out with my now broken equipment my wife and I witnessed the manger getting yelled at out front by a ritefully unhappy customer she had ripped a piece off of his rear hatch door on his Tahoe and then sitting there asking him what can I do lmao this place is a mess and needs to be shut down one word TRASH read more

Fun fact about Feldmans: They will not return or exchange DEFECTIVE merchandise without a receipt even if it is 1) clearly their merchandise because it's still an item they carry on the shelves, 2) 3 weeks after Christmas and it was a Christmas gift and 3) you were planning on exchanging it for a much more expensive alternative and pay the difference. When speaking to the cashier before the manager arrived, I found out that they WILL take returns without a receipt. It appears the issue here was that this item was actually defective and the store didn't was to take the hit. I'll remember this when I'm choosing to purchase all my chicken/ duck supplies at Tractor Supply and suggest everyone else keep this in mind when they are shopping for themselves or others. Don't buy anything here if there's ANY chance it could turn out defective. Feldmans doesn't stand behind their products. read more

On Sunday I had an issue at Feldmans in Liberty, Mo, with the condition of a small injured turkey being eaten alive by other turkeys. I approached a cashier and was told that they knew about issue and they were "taking care of it". I asked her to send someone over to said turkey....and I waited. It took over 20 minutes for someone to show up, then she was very flippant about the issue and rude regarding the situation. When the manager showed up I was told that turkeys are brutal to each other. Nobody at Feldmans was concerned with his treatment or conditions. I have video and pictures regarding this situation. I purchased this small injured turkey and named him Gus. Gus has since been turned over to Midwest Animal ResQ, where he has found a loving forever home. I will never purchase from Feldmans again and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know, about the complete disregard for Gus that Feldmans Liberty staff had. Feldmans did not respond or show concern until after they were contacted by Animal Control and got hit by the negative backlash on their Facebook page. Their initial response to me was inaccurate. When asked by another concerned animal lover if Gus was ok, they initially stated the truth, that he is with a rescue and being treated. They then changed their response to mislead people to think THEY are treating Gus. At no time was Gus given aid or vet care while at Feldmans read more

Such poorly managed store. Not stocked well, multiple times equine grain out of stock. But biggest problem is there customer service. Never have enough staff checking, ALWAYS long lines. I would rather drive to Bonner Springs or Blue Springs than deal with this store! read more

Update: We were contacted by the general manager recently. He expressed concern over the way we were treated by the store manager and over the damage to our order. He has ordered new stall fronts and the company who makes them is delivering them directly to our farm. Thank you! :-) read more
