I was Leary of leaving my babies for a few days but I felt very comfortable right away after speaking to Deanna on the phone & especially after meeting her & seeing the facility. Mark (hope I got that right ) was also very nice. Deanna was even nice Enough to take a video for me! Made me feel as ease. My boys came home safe & I couldn't be more happy. My only suggestion is to make your reservation ASAP they are so in demand because of their care & dedication. Much love to Felines & Fidos

If you're like me and treat your dogs like family over the human members then this place is for you. The owners are animal people to the fullest. One day I hope to grow up and be like them. I checked several places out for doggie daycare as we returned to work all day. We have two cane corso puppies and wanted somewhere that would give them stimulation, exercise and socialization. This place does it all plus it's affordable plus they have a bath option available. And I get videos and pics text to me on how they're doing that day- I totally love this place!!! So glad I found them. I'm including some pictures of my pups at daycare and them exhausted after. It's completely worth it to get home with a tired out giant puppy as opposed to a hyper one right out of their kennel.

Fantastic people! Took care of our pups and they loved running around with the other dogs and making new friends. Owners are very friendly and attentive to any needs you have for your dog. Will be back several more times this year!

This is our all time favorite place to board our girls whenever we find the need. Deanna and David are truly a pleasure to deal with. They take a great amount of pride in their facility, and it shows. Everything is well maintained and they recently added a state of the art building with individual kennels complete with connecting outside runs. You'll never worry when you leave your fur kids here, Deanna is great at keeping you informed when needed, and she'll even post a pic of your baby on the company Facebook and Instagram pages. Their prices are very reasonable, so look no further, you found the perfect place right here at Felines and Fidos.

They took excellent care of my pup! He had access to the outdoors at all times. He was exhausted after returning home from all the fun he had. I will definitely be back.

Ask the Community - Felines And Fidos All Suite Boarding

Hi I'm looking to board two dogs. One is a 8 year old beagle and the other is a 5 year old Rottie…

Good morning, for the two of them sharing this week your total cost per day would be $55. Unfortunately, though we are already completely booked for those dates. Hopefully we can help you another time in the future. We do require that everyone is…

    Hi, what are your rates?

Do you have a cat or a dog. How many? What size?

Do you do home visits? We are going on vacation Feb 2nd to the 10th. We live in Apple Valley near Granite Hils high. We have 6 horses, 1 Mini Cow, 3 dogs, 4 indoor cats, and 2 rabbits in outdoor hutches.

Hi. Yes, I do. I only do home visits to Apple Valley so your in luck. :) . Would you need two visits a day?

What are the bare minimum of the shots needed for a young puppy's first boarding?

We prefer that the puppy have 2 DHPP vaccinations and one Bordetella prior to the stay

At the same time, we were seeing our dog being posted on Instagram more than we were getting direct updates, even after we asked for them. She pinned Chorizo on her Instagram, in the number one post slot, while we hadn't heard from her in three days and didn't even know he was going on a field trip. This was especially difficult for my wife, who had recently lost her father and was already going through a lot. Being separated from our dog was hard on her. We asked multiple times for updates so we could reassure her, but it never felt like we were getting the same level of feedback other reviewers experienced. The training experience didn't match what we expected. Recall still needs work, and "place" became more confusing. Before, he would go where I pointed. Now he tries multiple spots and flinches (expecting a stim), even after we bought him a cot. We asked Cari to introduce Chorizo to our e-collar (EZ Educator). During the consultation, she mentioned that he would learn recall and other commands to near perfection before the e-collar was introduced, and that vibration would be used before stim. The handoff only showed e-collar stim commands, and vibration was not introduced. His recall without the e-collar still needs work. We never received a clear breakdown of what he was working on during the program and mostly followed his progress through Instagram. After pickup, I had to follow up just to get a list of commands. The handoff felt rushed. He was exhausted, it was a hot day, and she had forgotten a water bowl, so a lot of the time was spent just letting him drink water. There was no follow-up afterward to see how he was doing. A few hours after getting him back that Friday, we took him to a groomer who pointed out a cracked toenail down to the quick and irritation on his neck from his e-collar. The groomer said the irritation looked like burns from an e-collar that hadn't been rotated and advised us to monitor his paw to make sure it didn't get worse. We took it easy and avoided taking him out while he healed, but by Tuesday his paw started bleeding. We notified Cari and let her know we would be taking him to the vet after my scheduled surgery. I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands that Wednesday, and I took him to the vet while recovering on Thursday. He developed an infection and a fever that required sedation, nail removal, and stitches. This whole experience is not what we expected after reading her Yelp reviews. Even trying to work things out with Cari regarding the vet bills, after we negotiated the cost down with the vet and insurance covered a significant portion, was disappointing. We weren't asking for everything, just something fair. The procedure cost about $900 if the dog is sedated. We asked her to participate $350-$380. She offered $100. When I told her that Chorizo was at the vet because his paw was bleeding, her response was, "Ok thank you for the update." We weren't able to reach an agreement and were told, by Cari, that small claims court would be the best way to resolve it, which is what we are now pursuing. Regarding our training equipment, we also had to follow up on two leashes and e-collar prongs that weren't returned after the program. She told my wife she broke the retractable leash and would send a replacement right away, but a week and a half later we still haven't received confirmation that it's been sent. (Edit: retractable leash and prongs received 3/31 via Amazon Prime.)

It was really important for us to create a safe, structured environment, and this ended up being one of the best decisions we've made. Cari kept us informed the entire time, always updating us on his progress and how he was doing. That alone gave us so much peace of mind. When we got Cash back, he was like a completely different dog. The transformation was amazing. Everywhere we go now, people compliment how well-behaved he is, and we always make sure to give credit to Cari and the incredible work she did with him. Also, a huge shoutout to her husband! I know he was a little intimidated by our big fur baby at first, but he still showed up with patience, care that meant a lot to us. We're beyond grateful for everything they did for Cash. Most importantly, we're so happy to have him as part of our family now with confidence and peace of mind. If you're considering training for your dog, I highly recommend Cari. She truly cares, and it shows in her work

A few months ago I decided to board and train my dog Penny(3yrs old)to Gallardo's k-9 for a five…read moreweek basic obedience/on leash train and behavior modification. I was referred to Anthony by a couple of people and after reading his reviews I decided to hire Anthony. Through the process, Anthony kept in communication with me on Penny's progress. Five days prior to her training completion Anthony sent a message via text informing me that Penny possibly sprained her paw/ankle jumping off one of the obstacles courses he had her on. I was set back at first because agility training wasn't agreed upon or part of Penny's program. My understanding is that the obstacle courses are used for agility training which was not part of her 5 week course. He informed me that she was putting a little bit of pressure on it, but because she was not crying and still eating and drinking he believed it was a good sign. He advised me how the same thing happened to his dog and it was ok after a week and that was why he suspected it was just a sprain and didn't think she needed to go to the vet. As an experienced trainer I trusted his judgment because I was not physically there in person to see her behavior. Upon arriving to pick her up; as he brought her out she wasn't putting any pressure on her back right leg at all, only when he asked her to sit. Due to her injury Anthony thought it would be best if we did her last two hour sessions another day. He informed me that we would go over the training he completed with Penny once she got better. Upon leaving Anthony due to the injury and pain I can see on Penny's face I didn't feel right driving six hours back home without getting her examined so I decided to take her to a near by emergency vet. Penny was diagnosed with a dislocated hip and fracture. The vet informed me that if he had brought her in the day of the incident, they could have popped her hip back in. Given that time had passed they had to perform two procedures and now her recovery is to be crated/confined and heavily medicated with little to no activity for 8-12 weeks hoping the procedure is successful. After 8 weeks of recovery, the vet will examine her by X-ray to rule out having to perform a total hip replacement. When I updated Anthony on Penny's condition after her first vet visit, he responded.. "Poor penny I didn't think it would be her hip. I'm so sorry this happened I've never had a dog get hurt before" Afters Penny's procedure, I sent Anthony an update and informed him what was completed and what Penny had to go through. I also asked if he could possibly refund me for the training because in my mind I thought it was the right thing to do since it was only a fraction of the total costs of vet visits and her surgery. He never responded, called or text. This all happened within the week of picking up penny on May 27, 2023 and the last I heard from him was on June 13th. Penny's next appointment in August will determine if she needs a hip replacement. It has been almost two months since the first procedure and her behavior has worsened. She is now more anxious, timid and afraid of being left alone. The vet bills alone have already exceeded the price of training. Due to her pain and suffering she did not retain any of her training. The reason for my review is to warn others of the kind of trainer you will be working with. I would have at least expected a return call or text from Anthony. I never expected a full refund but I did expect him to be professional and at least offer a solution instead he turned his back and disregarded us. Definitely not a trainer I would recommend to anyone.
