And Dr. D., rather than having me put Walter up on the metal table where most dogs would more likely be nervous, he just sat down on the bench with us and chatted and casually did his exam. Such great bedside manner. At a former vet in San Diego, I would always sit on the floor with my dogs rather than putting them in a chair while waiting. The doctor would come in and then just sit down on the floor with us for the entire time. That was very cool too. We started to exit to the lobby out of one door, but there was a very angry German Shepherd barking loudly. So a sweet vet tech stopped us, brought us out a door on the opposite side of the lobby, then walked all the way to the front door with us, staying between the German Shepherd and us in case it got aggressive. That act of care and kindness was amazing.

Renaissance got me a same day appointment and my dog was happy. It was reasonably priced (and it wasn't extra for my large dog) and I liked Joyce enough to feel comfortable leaving my dog in her care.

After a board and train with Fernando, my dog made incredible improvements. she now walks with me in town and is great on and off leash. I couldn't have imagined a better outcome! I've boarded my dog easily over a dozen times, and they make pick up & drop off so easy. Whether it's an overnight stay or two weeks, I feel comfortable knowing my dog is safe with Guiding Pets & Parents.
