This is one of our favorite places to go when love seems crazy and we need a beat! You can reserve your spot on their website and fill out the release form ahead of time. When you get there, there's always a friendly face at the counter that runs you through the rules and any updates. There were a lot of kittens our last visit so they we reminded us about the rule not to pick them up, especially to ensure they're healing well. Then with a quick hand wash, you're good to go! The room is spacious and clean and there's plenty of room to spread out if others are also there. The cats roam free so I just pick a spot in the floor with a toy and let the cats run around me. If you're lucky, one with sit in your lap or climb your shoulder! And attached to Bad Seed coffee?? It's a win-win for us!

Felius Cat Cafe offers two treats-- good coffee and cats to pet and adopt. The coffee shop used to be Bad Seed, but is now operated by Felius with income helping support the cat rescue mission. If you want to pet the cats, you need to sign a waiver. I did that a while ago so I don't remember exactly what it said. You also agree not to pick up a cat, but it's okay if they jump into your lap. There are some rules about age of visitors, but I didn't pay attention to that. We paid $10 each to spend 30 minutes in the cat room. A tiny black kitten named Otis jumped into my lap immediately. Bookguy sat on the floor and had two kittens climbing on him. There were several older cats as well as the kittens. Felius provides a valuable service by being a place for strays to be adopted. Their website has resources and pictures of adoptable cats. It's a great place to relax and commune with kitties.

We love Felius cat cafe especially at their new location! We actually had my son's birthday there since I saw that you could reserve their cat room for varying lengths of time. I loved that you could add on food and desserts from neighboring restaurants in Dundee! Also with your rental fee, we had an amazing person to help us out during the party! It was really an amazing experience and one little kitty even found a new home after that party! Fast forward a couple days, my son requested getting a membership to visit the cat cafe monthly. I think it is an great thing because we can visit as much or as little as we'd like! Felius Cat Cafe shares space with a really good coffee company. The Bad Seed! The coffee is really good and so are their treats they have as well! You can get blueberry scones, cookies, and gluten free brownies! Everything I have tried while visiting felius has been good. We will certainly be back!

We love this spot. Although we visited the old location it was a little...smelly? This one is perfect. The coffee shop option (and lovely plants!) and cats were so fun. Loved visiting first thing in the morning when the cats were ready to play.

What a fun place! I got my niece a gift card for her birthday and we checked it out. This is actually the last week they will be at this location but I'm excited to see their new location. We booked a time online and showed up a few minutes before. My niece got a lemonade and the barista asked if she wanted any fun flavors so she got Cherry. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, tasted pretty standard. When I booked online I did not realize that it was per person. So I technically only booked 1 spot and then wasn't able to use the rest of my gift card for having to do the other ticket in person. Other than that, it was a smooth process. I loved the concept and would definitely come back.

I LOVE CATS! I am so glad a cat cafe has made its way to Omaha and it's a rescue so even better! They offer bookings to come sit and play within the cat area. Also inside, is a coffee shop! Definitely worth the experience to visit with cats, or if you are looking to home one.

I love this place! I was visiting from out of town and this ended up being the best hour of my day. There were so many kitties of all ages to pet and play with. The ladies working there are so friendly and happy to answer any questions you have about the cats. I loved that they shared space with Bad Seed Coffee so I was able to grab a delicious latte before I headed in to the play area. I plan on coming back next time I'm in town. I highly recommend!

This place was great. Staff was friendly and the experience is always nice. Drinks were just ok both times and the play room with the kittens is fine when it's just 3-4 people, but when it becomes 5 plus the volunteer allowed in the room is becomes quiet crowded. Definitely recommend reserving a time because you may not get in if your arriving as a walk-in. Overall would recommend trying at least once though for the experience. As a side note shoes are to be taken off or have bags on.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit! What's not to love? Cats and coffee! (I do wish they had iced tea.). I will most definitely visit next time in Omaha

Sadly, Bad Seed Coffee is no longer there serving coffee but thankfully Felius took on the role in the cafe now too!

When we checked in, we were the only ones participating in the private experience. The intern working there, I believe her name was Kara, was very friendly and did an excellent job explaining everything throughout the tour. This experience is advertised as an "interactive, hands-on experience," where you get to meet some animals that aren't included with general admission, such as the capybara, kangaroo, fox, porcupine, and raccoons. Most of the other animals can be interacted with during the regular experience, with the exception of the animals mentioned above and the wolfdog. The description states that the tour lasts 90 minutes, but we completed the entire experience in about 40 minutes. That may have been because it was just the two of us rather than a full group of six. As part of the safari experience, you're able to choose one animal to spend an additional 10-15 minutes with, and we chose the fox. I do wish they had mentioned at the beginning of the tour that the foxes tend to be skittish. Had we known that, we might have chosen a different animal for our extended interaction. They also provide a bucket of food so you can feed some of the animals during the experience. Overall, we definitely enjoyed spending time with the animals and learning more about them. However, in my opinion, the experience is priced way too high for what is included. While it was a fun and memorable visit, I personally don't feel it was worth the $125 per person cost.

My most recent volunteer activity was with my company, so I had a group of folks I knew from my day-to-day life there with me, but you won't always have that. But that means you'll meet a few strangers to turn into new friends! There is a task for any level of expertise. If you're a newbie, you may just be holding a ladder for a bit. If you're a little green but have some experience you may be able to paint some things. If you're an expert and have experience in certain construction things, they may even have you helping to attach doors and put up drywall. These are just examples, but the point is that no matter your skill-set, don't let it keep you from volunteering. The main "construction" of cement pouring and foundation building is obviously done by actual professionals, so you can't do anything that will mess up the house too bad. I definitely recommend volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. While it may be hot (because most builds have been done during the summer in my experience), and some hard work, it can actually be a lot of fun!
