The Purr-fect Nanny is the ONLY pet service we will ever use and also recommend to anyone. We were so worried about hiring a sitter for our senior Navia Kitty until we met Kelly-Ann and Tyegh. Navia loved them immediately at her first meet & greet with them in our home. I typically will not hire anyone on a first interview, but it was so easy to hire them! They are professional, skilled, responsible, caring, kind, warm, observant, responsive, honest, and hard-working people for which we are so grateful to know. The Purr-fect Nanny is amazing! I booked their service over Christmas as I was leaving for 10 days. I was a bit nervous at first as this was the first time I had used a petting sitting service vs taking my cat to the pet hotel, however, Kelly-Ann and her husband were so assuring and made me feel so comfortable while I was away. Prior to my leave, they had my sitter come by the weekend before to meet with me and my pet. I showed them around the place and where they could any supplies. The whole process took around 20 minutes or so, super quick! While I was away, they would update me with pictures and text messages of how my cat was doing. It was so nice to get a picture with an update, it made me feel like I was leaving my cat in the hands of a friend compared to a service. When I got home from my long trip, I was happy to see everything was clean, my cat had food and water and she seemed to be very happy. Kelly-Ann and Tyegh (and their sitters) have been taking care of my furballs for a couple of years now. They were recommended to me by my neighbors, and we're extremely grateful to have them on call when we either need them to come feed the dogs dinner or need them overnight. We engaged The Purr-fect Nanny to take care of our cats from December 6th, 2016 to December 22nd, 2016. And they did an absolutely superb job of caring for my "fur babies"! We have a multi-cat household of geriatric cats. My oldest is 15, my youngest is 13 and diabetic, requiring insulin shots twice daily. Given the number of cats we have and their ages, I was really nervous about having a pet-sitter care for them. Kelly-Ann and her husband were a pleasure to work with. They explained how their service works, and were happy to answer my questions about caring for my cats. I was particularly nervous about leaving my little diabetic cat with a sitter; we usually board him at the vet. But Kelly-Ann assured me she'd cared for diabetic cats before, and after watching her run through giving my cat his insulin, I felt confident my cat was in good hands. Here are the points I want to make about my experience with the Purr-fect Nanny: 1. Everything required of me was clearly explained beforehand. All charges were explained, the conditions of service provided were explained, what they needed me to do to set things up was clearly explained. 2. They very clearly wanted my cats happy and me happy, and they took outstanding care of all my cats. Cats were well-taken-care of, healthy and happy when we came back. 3. While we were gone (cruise in Caribbean), they gave us constant updates on how the cats were doing, including texting pictures. Great communication! 4. They went above and beyond what I expected in keeping the house clean. I'm not going to say how many cats I have (we're approaching crazy cat lady territory), but it would be reasonable to expect that there would be one or two hairballs every day or so. But they cleaned everything up! I cannot understate how much work I know that was. 5. They put the trash out curbside while we were gone, and did this without being asked. Likewise, they dealt with unexpected package deliveries, newspapers and leaflets left at our door. All taken care of. They gave me the gift of peace of mind. I highly, highly recommend them. And I'm going to be engaging them again in February! I will be happy to talk to anyone Kelly-Ann refers to me about our experience. The Purr-fect Nanny did a five-star job for me and for my cats. There is no way to fully explain what these folks mean to me and my family. I have had the honor of having them sit for my three dogs many many times. Two of my three are blind and 17 years old. There is a lot of detailed directions on medicine, taking them outside etc and they never fail to impress.
