I absolutely love this clinic for my cat. The doctor is incredibly knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients. I brought my cat in after another veterinarian told me she might have a gum infection. I wanted a second opinion, and I'm so glad I came here. The doctor examined her mouth and immediately recognized that she did, in fact, have a serious gum infection. What really impressed me was that he actually showed me what he was seeing. Most veterinarians simply explain the problem, but he took the time to let me see it with my own eyes. As my cat's owner and "mom," that meant so much to me. It helped me fully understand what she was going through and made me feel included in her care. When I realized how serious the infection was, I felt terrible not knowing how long my baby had been in discomfort. The doctor was incredibly reassuring and compassionate. He also recommended another clinic that could remove the affected teeth as soon as possible at a very affordable cost. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. They genuinely care about your pets and aren't just trying to make as much money as possible. They are professional, honest, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing the best care. I wish I had started coming here when I first brought home my puppy. All the vet visits and fees on fees on fees were crazy just to find out that his tummy didn't like the food. Thankfully here, there aren't all the crazy fees. What you see listed is what you pay for. Getting a shot? You pay that price. Dog acting weird and you just want him checked out? You don't pay anything unless you buy something. They also will recommend trying other, less intense options before suggesting meds or even surgeries (as long as it's safe and not an emergency) while also talking you through some anxiety inducing behaviors. I'm always grateful for Dr D and his team and will always suggest everyone come to see them. read more

Great place to take your pets for vaccines and small ailments. My dog Koda's vaccines were due before his grooming appointment and the vet was booked out. Brought him into this walk-in place and also had them check his ears because he does have recurring ear infections. They took care of all of it for a reasonable price, much less than I pay at the vet. The vet and the staff are awesome, super helpful, and even though there are a lot of people waiting with their pets the doctor takes the time to check and look over your dog and does not try to rush. I will be back with my other dogs when the time comes. read more

They rescheduled me for the soonest available which was next week and they refused to prescribe meds for the open wound until she was seen. Even though they've done it in the past with this same medication on several occasions........ That's what I get for being late. So I decided to stop here and SO glad I did!! Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and visit was very pleasant. All issues addressed in under 15 minutes. It was very affordable since no 'appointment' fees. We love our vets! We've been coming to see Drs Dobesh and the vets here for years. I've even sent many people to them who continue to have their pets seen here! I moved here from an all service veterinarian because of the cost, mainly. There's no where else in Omaha you'll find cheaper vaccinations, medications, or more helpful care than here. They know their stuff, and they won't talk you into services you don't need. You go in, tell them what you need, and you leave. If you have any questions, they're knowledgeable with answers and will refer you another place if they're not able to do what you need. At the very least, this place is the best for vaccinations and meds even if you follow up with another vet. read more

This is a great place to take your pets for vaccines and medications. The folks who run the clinic are lovely. They are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. No appointment is needed. They don't charge exam fees, and the prices for vaccines and meds are cheaper than anywhere else. They handle a wide variety of medical issues and also perform wellness exams, nail trimming, heartworm testing and treatment, ear cleaning, flea and tick prevention, allergy shots, microchipping, and the list goes on. If you need something they can't do, they will refer you to another clinic. They have multiple clinics and they travel around the area for convenience. They have this clinic at 4229 S 84th St. in Omaha. The other clinic is at 2911 S 120th St in Omaha. They also go around and visit The Birdcage pet store in Council Bluffs every Friday from 12-7, They are in Lincoln at Orschelns - on 56th & Cornhusker Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-6, and also in Fremont at 309 Jefferson Street the first and third Saturday of Every Month from 8-2 which is so convenient. We have two dogs who both have allergies along with skin conditions. Taking them to Dr. Dobesh has saved us thousands of dollars. I used Yelp to find a vet that wouldn't charge me an office visit since my last vet forgot to provide my dog Lokai with the annual Bordetella vaccination needed to board him next month. I wasn't going to pay another office visit based on their neglect. This place requires no appointment, easy to access, and the whole process was done within 5 minutes. The cost was reasonable and the staff was receptive and friendly. This was a good stop for pet vaccinations when you need one quickly. read more

Seriously, this place is just the best. My dog, who is terrified of loud noises and is skittish around other dogs, actually loves coming here. -They don't charge a visit fee. -What they do charge for services is significantly less than anywhere else. -They even sell pet meds for less than anywhere locally. -They really, genuinely enjoy being around animals all day and it shows! -No appointments necessary. They're fairly basic and don't offer services like X-Rays, so there's usually not much of a wait. -They also treat people well - very friendly folks! Yep, you can walk in, get your dog inspected/weighed for free, maybe throw in a $10 nail trim, then grab some cheap heartworm or flea/tick preventatives (that also usually have rebates), and maybe grab a few prescription sedatives for your dog that gets skittish during fireworks or thunderstorms - in and out, maybe 15 or 20 minutes. When I eventually move out of Omaha, this is easily one of the top 3 businesses I'm going to miss. The genuine love for animals, and the affordability (lack of greed) makes this a special place to me and my dog! read more

Very friendly and fast service. I have a cocker spaniel mix that needed an update on all of his shots. He's timid about new people and they were very sweet and with him. Very responsibly priced, they also were able to give me a heart worm test and 6 months of heart worm prevention for about $160. That's including all his vaccines and everything. It's first come first serve but I went on a Wednesday around 1pm and the wait was only about 10 minutes. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be bringing him back read more

took two dogs in for vaccinations and requested a skin consult on one dog for a recurring issue as the regular vet was unable to see the dog until March. they confirmed the existing diagnosis and wrote scripts as they cost more than chewy. chewy made multiple documented attempts to contact and verify. I got them on the phone with chewy which they could have done verbally but informed me they don't do that but would do an email. No reply to the email days later Called and was informed they could do a verbal but would not, did not want to hold. Offered to make the call and call them when chewy was on the line for a verification, would not. Instead told to mail in the script 5 days after the initial visit. They could have said that 5 days ago instead of saying they would email in confirmation. Initially told they did not have the drug in stock, asked the price, didn't know, and made no offer to get back later with a price. A quality outfit. read more

Took both of our cats (2y & 16w) for rabies and other vaccinations. Absolutely the most positive experience every visit when it was time for little ones next rounds. The customer service felt very interpersonal and you could tell every person on staff was an animal fanatic. Very quick and easy process once you get signed in. There can be a bit of a wait sometimes depending on when you go, but 100% worth waiting in car or line for the best vets and staff to take good care of your fur babies! The vets are amazing! We spent over $1100 on our dogs ears at our former vet after a few years of itching and stinky dog. The vet here solved our problem, (yeast infection), on our first visit. With all medications and a shot it was still under $70. He recommended a diet change to salmon dry food called "Taste of the Wild" at TSC stores etc. It's like our 11 year old Lhasa Poo is a puppy again and my wife's glad the carpet doesn't get stinky from him rubbing his ears on it.
