Salonist did not bother asking me questions and I insisted if she had any questions or if I can show her more of what I wanted and she said she didn't need to. Of course she needed to because my hair came out wrong. Now my bangs are so thin and have these nasty gaps. My hair doesn't sweep well as it used to. I can't believe I paid $67 and I even tipped her $10 just to be nice. I'm looking forward to someone else saving my hair now. I thought my hair could have grown out properly but it hasn't. It blows my mind that the owner of the salon removed my review.

What was especially disappointing was that, when discussing what could be done differently in the future, I was even offered a mohawk highlight as a possible next service. That was not at all the direction I was looking for with my hair. I understand that hair color can sometimes turn out differently than expected, but I left unhappy with both the color and the overall direction of the service. I would recommend being very specific about how light, warm, and blonde you want your finished color to remain if you're considering lowlights here.

I called before showing up to confirm that they handle textured hair. They said that's what we do... However, From the moment I walked in, I was treated like an inconvenience. They had me waiting for over an hour the first time, then complained about "too much textured hair" and forced me to come back a month later with my hair half done -- looking worse than when I arrived. They also blew my hair out too. My hair was curly and shrunk again a few hours after I left. I arrived first thing in the morning on my day off just few minutes late my second appointment, and Kaylee -- unskilled, disrespectful, complains a lot, who handed me over to an apprentice because I have too much hair -- refused to touch my hair, citing my "lateness," even after I explained the road issues and the fact that they didn't seem to value others time the first time around. Kaylee harped AGAIN on how much hair I have. The owner then told me they refuse MY service. Thats when I KNEW this wasn't because of being a few minutes late, it's something else and their micro aggressions spoke volumes about that. Let me be clear: this wasn't a minor annoyance that I paid $450 dollars for the first time for a job half finished, I was treated with blatant disrespect, microaggressions, and racial bias.
