Fran's Automotive will provide you with honest, fair, and timely service, and insure that the job is done properly and completely. Fran replaced my thermostat housing in one day, in fact, diagnosed, replaced, and drove my car briefly to be certain all was well. Unfortunately for me, Fran found an additional issue after driving: one that's been noticeable to me for well over a year as a burning smell every time I drive the car and one that I chose to ignore (not smart on my part but ignorance is bliss lol). Turns out, there's a gasket leaking engine oil onto the manifold (I think that's what she said lol), thereby causing the odor. Fran is extremely busy, but they're fitting my car in next Thursday to correct this issue, too, again at a fair price, and I couldn't be more grateful.
Lastly, I need to tell you about Allison (she runs the office). You couldn't ask for a nicer person to deal with! And not only is she extremely personable, but she offered to take me home when I dropped the car off, and she picked me up when the job was finished! When you're completely alone, this kind of human kindness is so rare, especially during a pandemic when you really don't want to call an Uber. This meant more to me than I could ever express, and she's offered to do the same next week when I return.
Fran's Automotive has earned my trust and gratitude, and this review stands as a testament to that to anyone reading this. If you live in Wolcott (or anywhere else, for that matter!), instead of getting towed by AAA to the distant garages recommended by them, take or tow your car to Fran's: you won't be disappointed!
