Fresh sides and perfectly cooked rice, ready to pair with a warm bowl of caldo de pollo.
    Alex M.

This place has quickly become one of my favorites for a comforting, homemade meal. The caldo de pollo is absolutely delicious--flavorful, fresh, and perfect for a chilly day. The rice and vegetables were perfectly cooked, and my daughters couldn't get enough of it! In fact, my youngest daughter knows when I bring something from Fellos. The moment I tell her the caldo de pollo is here, she gets so excited she can't even wait and starts grabbing the rice with her fingers! If you want to support a small, family-owned business and know that you're not just enjoying a meal but also helping local entrepreneurs, this is the perfect place to go. The service is outstanding, with the staff being incredibly kind and attentive. The family-friendly ambiance makes it a warm and inviting spot to enjoy a delicious meal. For great food and exceptional service, I highly recommend this family-owned Mexican restaurant!

What is this SHARP ass object? Found in our super burrito

We've been here a handful of times in the past never a problem! Well this time not one strike not two but three strikes and you're out FELLO's for good! Upon arriving saw new staff and most likely new cooks since our burrito meat was cooked completely different, found grissle, AND this sharp ass object what is this a bone??How does this happen!l? My husband ended up getting the bite and spitting it out and thankfully not my 3 year old toddler. Not a care for food quality from this company, bad turn over, with meh quality ingredients. Terrible will not be coming back here. Add it to the list of other crappy, inconsistent Mexican restaurants in Manteca!

This is the best Mexican food in Manteca. We love this place. It is a small restaurant and their food is consistently amazing.

We just left this place today. & we left with a pretty good experience. We are not from around here but happen to find this place through here, yelp!! The food is excellent! I came here for the mocajete. First time, I had it was in PV Mexico. We are not from around here in Manteca & we don't have a Mexican restaurant in our area that has mocajete on the menu. So, will definitely hit this spot again if we are in town which we come here often & yes, the server is very attentive, we really like it!

I was recommended this restaurant by my CMT. We came early, but it was surprisingly empty. I enjoyed that they have a salsa bar (and quite honestly, this is the second taqueria I've been to with such a variety). Not only were their salsas, but two types of pico de gallo, but there was pickled jalapeños with carrots, veggies, and salad. There was also CUCUMBER! I got the two sopes plate and they were good! My only complaint would be the beans are rice were not hot, but warm. My husband enjoyed the posole. It's a little different than those he's used to from the Bay Area; however, he really enjoyed it. They provide complimentary chips and salsa. We will be back again.

We get excited when we get FELLO's for lunch! Knowing the serving is good to be huge and it's going to taste delicious. We order take out from Fellos pretty often and it's always been a hit!

The best service that I've had at any restaurant in years! They were super accommodating for our kids and the food was really tasty as well. Huge compliments to the entire staff. Definitely highly recommend.

My cousin had recommended Fello's for dinner so we tried it. He had tried it once before. The food was very good! Even the whole Jalapeños were so flavorful from the salsa bar, tasted like it had been marinated before grilling it? I got the combo, it had a sample of Colorado, Chile verde, enchilada, taco.... The portions were big. We all enjoyed our choices. The service was great. We will be returning.

I can really appreciate the soup and tortillas when I'm sick. The flavor is perfect and the meatballs are delicious. I really needed something to help me during this time. Albondigas for the win. Thank you!

My chimichanga I took a bit before the pic. Plentiful and tasty!

Met some friends here for a Mexican lunch. I ordered a chimichanga with carnitas and excluded onions. The size was large and it was hot and tasty and full of flavor. I brought home about a 1/3 of it for later. It is a lot of food. The salsa was also good the tortilla chips were a bit dry but otherwise tasted fine. My wife ordered a chil Colorado plate and another got a torta. The booth we sat in was a bit cramped. Next time I would opt for a table. Simple interior, clean and sort of cafeteria like. The young lady serving us was polite, pleasant and attentive. She did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. Overall positive. I would eat here again.

Visiting from out of town, stopped by here and now I'm sad I won't be able to eat it all the time... AMAZING!! The service was incredible the waitress was so sweet. Portions were large and great priced! The food was so flavorful!!! Seriously so so good!!

First time coming here and I loved this place! Staff was quick, friendly and attentive! Food was absolutely delicious, not just what we personally ordered, but the food that passed by smelled divine! The place was also beautifully decorated with art and festive. The place was busy but they kept up with the pace! We also got fresh chips and salsa when we sat down! Pros: - wheelchair accessible - clean tables & bathrooms!

Place was nice and clean inside. Service was very friendly. Ordered chicken taco and cheese enchilada with rice and refried beans. The taco was served with shredded chicken in the red enchilada sauce very hot. Needed a little more cheese in my taco. Taco was very flavorful nice and crunchy but my shell broke, sad day. The cheese enchilada was served pipping hot. The enchiladas were tasty and flavorful tortillas held up well. The rice was flavorful but needed to be served hotter, it was just barley warm. The refried beans were just ok. No tortillas served with our order. Horchata was fire! A must order. It is a bit pricy $51 for 2 people.

It was ready to go by the time I arrived in the service was great. You guys gotta check this one out!!! everything was super flavorful, and the burrito was the size of the takeout platter. I'm so surprised this place is not more busier than it was. But I hope if you're ever in the area you're able to check this out. Unfortunately, I did completely dig into my meal and did not take a photo which I'm super sad about but when I go again I will definitely be uploading a photo.! Inside is a quaint little dining area with a bar type eating section that may or may not be used. It's separated by the walking path from the door to the cashier making it seem isolated without being isolated. Ordering was like any other taqueria, walk to the register and place your order. Reading the register screen the order was correct, two super burritos and two super fries. Roughly $40. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready and the employee was nice enough to bring it to thw table we were sitting at. When we arrive home and unpacked the items, I had to ask what we ordered. We had three containers, two we could only figured were burritos bowls, and the other was super fries. So, not only were we missing part of the order, we got something completely different. Luckily, a few people don't eat a lot and were able to share these meals. The super fries were large enough for two people to easily share. There was plenty of toppings to the point you couldn't see the fries, something, I personally like. However, the first bite into the fries were a undercooked frozen oven potato texture. Thinking it was just a frie that got stuck to another in the fryer, it happens. The second bite we cold, like refrigerator, cold. Digging around under the toppings to expose the fries that looked like they were microwaved instead of deep fried. There was no crispy crunch, or signs of a crispy tips. The potatoes were very easil to smash and had the frozen potatoes oder still. Needless to say, these could not be consumed. The super burritos, beside the fact they were not in a tortilla or in a burritos shape. AKA super burrito bowl, had no complaints from those that had to share. Will not be returning

But the recent changes to the Monday/Wednesday happy hour tacos caught me off guard. The deal now requires everyone at the table to buy alcohol, not just one person -- and the tacos themselves have gotten smaller, too. I don't really have a problem with the alcohol policy itself; that's pretty standard for happy hour. What got me was the service. I sat at the bar for nearly 20 minutes and the bartender ignored me the whole time -- no greeting, no heads-up about the new policy, nothing. Had someone just told me, I would've sat in the dining room from the start. No signage, no note on the menu, no acknowledgment at the bar. All around, a disappointing experience. I'll probably still be back -- back to my usual fajita salad -- but good things can't last forever, I guess.
