Loved every moment of my appointment: wash, condition, steam, blow out, silk press. I badly needed a cut, but I only signed up for a trim, so she took off just an inch: I could have let go of two easily. But it's ok: I'll be back. My hair only began to revert a bit around the edges, even with low intensity exercise. I pushed it to two weeks before I gave in and washed it, but I only intended to keep the blow out a week. I couldn't help myself, it looked so good and was such a nice change. I will be back for some natural styling. This place is directly across the street from Blue Moon. This is a dangerous combination, because I love the Cap'n Crunch French Toast at Blue Moon. Parking in Fells is difficult, so I recommend just parking in the garage on Caroline Street, closer to the water. If you do it on the weekends (I was there on a Saturday) it will be very inexpensive. Not only does she do a great job, but she is so friendly and I really enjoy talking to her. I also love that you can book appointments easily online, she offers evening hours, and there is parking always available. Now that she now rents a booth above Athena nails, it provides for a quiet and more private experience than the majority of salons which are filled with a lot of loud chatter and the constant buzzing sound of hair dryers (majority of the time Kristi and I are the only ones there).
