Oh well he said if I don't want to pay for an estimate he could come the next time I was available on Wednesday. It is Saturday, almost noon, no technician and still no phone call. I wasted my Friday waiting around for someone that was never going to show up. Don't waste yours. Find someone else.

Being a 1st time home buyer i was inexperienced to getting quotes from different contractors. Ruben came and told me that the fences were going to be straight. Understanding that straight did not mean level i explained that I wanted the fences to be level. He told me what I wanted to hear and proceeded to install the fences the way he wanted. After the installation I explained that he did not do what I asked and he just kept telling me that there was nothing else he could do. We are currently installing pavers in the back yard and I have two very uneven stretches of fence in my back yard and it looks like a terrible HACK AMATEUR JOB! The guy is wildly unprofessional and says one thing and does another. Please for the love of GOD do not use JR fencing. He's a vampire who does not care about his product.

Our journey started with Trex Fencing because we wanted an environment-friendly alternative to the hardwood fencing most of our neighbors had. We fell in love with Trex because in our small backyard alone there are 100,000 fewer plastic bags in the ocean potentially choking turtles. We love the look of the alternating depths of the slats so we don't feel like we are sitting inside a box. And the no maintenance aspect is a dream for us. It will likely outlive us without us ever having to sand or paint! Tyler was wonderful at answering all my questions, including "Who can we get in New York City to install it?" Enter Olympic Fence. I loved them from the first phone call with Vicky. She was so efficient at getting the information they needed. She didn't know the answer to a question I asked and said "I'll call you back". Within a half hour, she did! (Unexpectedly prompt service in NYC!) Olympic's estimator, Carl, was on time, efficient, pleasant and witty. Their proposal was more reasonable in turn-around time, price and estimated time to completion than the two other quotes I got. The workers showed up when they said they would, they worked around all our backyard furniture, and they finished in a miraculous 1 day! (The other quotes were 2-4 WEEKS!) They did make a mistake that caused my neighbor some concern, but they came back two days later to fix it (they would have been back the very next day except it poured rain all day). That's what I call excellent service: do what you say you are going to do, do it on time, do it well, and if the inevitable mistake occurs, take responsibility and fix it ASAP. And since they were recommended by one of the architects we are working with we gave them the job. Got the work done right, and even got a device that open the gate automatically when a vehicle approach the gate from the inside. I told the technician Bill that I think we need a new shutter. Let me check he said. He brought a ladder and went up. Did few things, knocked on the bog cover, and I don't know how, but like magic the old shutter came back to life. It started slowly opening till it got to the top. Just some maintenance Bill told me. He brought a bucket with grease and started working. Try again he asked. I turned the key and the shutter went down. Now open again, let it wake up he said. And it did! After few attempts, the shutter started moving smooth and as if it wasnt stuck for many years. They did great work on all four jobs and I couldn't be happier. They were a breeze to communicate with - super friendly and easy to schedule. Best of all they do meticulous work with a high degree of craftsmanship - you can tell they love ironwork and they shared many points of interest about the historic iron on my property.
