Last year Fence Outlet installed one section of fencing, no problem. We started in May of this year (it is now August) to have the final section of fencing installed. We have called several times but still cannot get this section completed; get nothing but various excuses as to why it can not be done yet. I hired Fence Outlet in Daytona Beach to install my fence. Paid a total of $5673.00 for the fence. 1st. Didn't line the fence up with the neighbors fence as discussed, drawn up and approved by board. See picture. 2nd. Distributed excess dirt in my gardens that have shredded wood/ground cover. See pictures. Took me two plus weeks to get them to come back out to remove the dirt. Now I have to replace all the ground cover. I will never do business with them again. The employees for the most part are great. Management is an issue at best. Clearly they aren't managing or directing their employees. read more

Had someone from Fence Outlet come to our home to estimate a gate. Before he even measured he said it was going to be $10,000+ for a gate(s) covering 18ft of concrete. He insisted I could only get a single pull gate that was cantilevered. Turns out you can get a track system from Aleko for less than 1/2 the price. I asked for the estimate to be sent and never received it. Checked my junk mail and nothing. I didn't bother following up with them as clearly they don't care about customers. So I can't recommend them. And I don't plan on doing business with them - ever. read more

Richard the General Manager assisted in having a service man come out and replace missing caps on our community HOA fence that was installed in 2020. The hurricane season took its toll on the caps and blew them off. He was so kind as to keep returning my phone calls as we kept missing each other during the holiday season. We also had our black iron fence installed by them as well and they did a fine job. I would highly recommend Fence-Outlet. read more

I would highly suggest going with anyone else for your fence needs. We had a fence put in by this company at our home in Port Orange. The initial visit with the employee from this company seemed to go well, until we were verbally promised we would receive a fence with three gates (one to access a pond in our backyard and two others on either sides of our home), signed the forms and paid the down payment ($2000), only to be ghosted. All communication stopped with the company for several weeks. I was finally contacted after I called the manager several times, obviously concerned considering I was already out a significant amount of money with no fence to show for it. When they finally came out to do the install, the fence was not installed with the proper amount of cement and was installed with only 2 gates. After several more calls to the manager they finally came out and poured more cement (the fence was incredibly wobbly), but refused to give us the third gate we were told we would get. The original salesperson we met with supposedly left the company, so we were basically told we were out of luck and would need to pay another huge fee (1/4 the price of the entire 100ft + fence to add the third gate we were originally promised). I also had to get HOA approval without any help from the company. If I could do things again I would save myself a major headache and just go with a different company. read more

Buyers beware! This company is not "responsible" for damage they may cause while installing your fence. We had them install our fence and they cut the wire to our air condition. Cost two service calls $ 125 and a final repair of about $700. Instead of trying to make a customer feel valued, by paying for the error, we were basically told, "Well, stuff happens, contract say not responsible", give me the rest our $4400 or we will put a lien on your property! The manager even suggested we should have told them that the wiring was where they put the post! read more

The only saving grace for this company's rating was the crew, of one person, job performance. In the beginning, everything is great... questions answered, calls answered. After that, the answers come later and later. Now let's talk about the day of install. I see a gentleman walking around outside of my home...I thought he was ONE of the workers. He was the ONLY worker. Granted, my yard is not terribly big...but when I contacted BARRY BAILEY , he told me that me it was no big deal and that he was very good at what he does. Did I mention that the worker did not speak a word of English? The fence work done by the Spanish worker was good, but communication between BARRY BAILEY ...pretty much sucked. In the end, Fence Outlet got the rest of their money, and I never heard from them again. read more

We had a fence installed for 1- PRIVACY AND 2- dogs/kids safety. While the dogs and kids can't escape the privacy SUCKS. we paid all this money to still see our neighbors every movement and vice versa. Scott the guy that comes out to give you a quote is arrogant and is just so hungry to make a sale he yes'es you to death. Once his job is done he can careless about your questions or concerns. We told him from the beginning what we wanted and why and I thought he'd make the recommendations to meet our needs. Well that didn't happen. 1- they charge you almost double for pulling permits. 2- on install day they send out people who can't speak a word of English. I noticed almost immediately that they were installing the first post not on property line. I tried to speak to him and he showed me the measurements they had and they were off by a foot in front and almost 2 feet in back. I had to run in my house to get him the survey of my property and the actual measurements. That was such a struggle because he didn't understand me and I couldn't understand him. At the point my day was spent watching them to avoid any more mistakes. Almost immediately when they started the work I explained to them what we wanted and that the contract had us as contour of land but we didn't want to lose any privacy doing that, and if I had to call the general manager that I could to let them know that the way Scott explained it we wouldn't lose any privacy by doing this option. We told the workers we were ok with parts of the fence at the bottom had spaces and gaps and we would close them with excess dirt later. The non English speaking men said "no no don't call " . what sounded like he understood our needs clearly he didn't. I called Richard the GM like 3 times during install to tell him that I wasn't liking the job and that the contour option wasn't looking right to us. How fence rails were being placed way to close to the ground and how post were real uneven. He stated DONT worry it will look right at the end because they will adjust the poles. I said I understand banging down a pole but how do you fix raising one after the cement has dried. He reassured me it was something they do all the time. Long story short. The gates on both sides of my home looked horrible. The back of our home fencing portion was such an eye sore. We called him within a week later as it was bothering us so much. He was rude, condescending and just out right annoyed that I was even bothering him. He than had another idiot call me who was worse than him to discuss self install options because I refused to let them send workers I couldn't communicate with I rather do it ourself. He was a ruder than Richard. Richard sent another non English speaking man out just to fix the main eye sore in the front that even my neighbors commented about. When I sent him pictures he said I can't have things both ways. Which was basically a straight fence and privacy. They know how to ask for payment before they are even done ( I received a call and a email asking for payment for remainder of the balance before panels were even up) but they get aggravated and annoyed if you have complaints. This is a lesson learnt!!! We had 2 other quotes from other companies that were just a little higher in price and what a mistake we made picking fence outlet!! We paid for privacy fencing and got a big ol eye sore instead!!! Just glad we didn't do our whole backyard with them. Over 300 feet of fencing left and we will be glad to give someone else our money to not only finish our project but also Fix FENCE OUTLETS botched work! I didn't bother to call him back because he clearly didn't want to be bothered. Even the guy that came out to fix the fence told me how he could see the bad work as he drove up to my home. Scott the sales person came to my home and was so professional and was straight up. I just bought the home and the fence needed replaced 170 ft. Got a great price was told 3-4 weeks to have it installed. Kaye was great had the permit within a day and called to set up appt to have the fence removed and installed it was less than a week. The pvc fence looks great and keeps my dogs safe. I can not say enough about Scott, Kaye and the crew that installed the fence. I would refer family and friends to the So. My initially gave Fence Outlet a 5-Star glowing Google review, but I felt it was a disservice to future customers to let recent events go by the wayside. I was initially very pleased with the entire process from scheduling the quote to the vinyl fence being installed. However, within a month of the fence being installed we had a storm come through that caused five fence posts to lean and ripped the vinyl gate 90 degrees from its correct position. The storm damage occurred in August 2020 and we held off having repairs done until October. When I called to get the repairs scheduled I was put in contact with the Area Manager, Mr. Granger, and it was hit or miss on getting a return call or text from him between October and December, but we agreed to have the repairs done for $200 since storm damage is not covered by warranty. In early December Mr. Granger said someone would be out to verify the work that needed to be done and get back with me on when work would get started. I ended up talking with Mr. Barr, Installation Quote Rep, who came out to look at everything. I didn't hear back from anyone after December 10th until 19 January 2021 when I saw Mr. Barr coming to see the issue with my neighbor's fence (their fence was not installed on the right property line). I spoke with him and asked about the status of our repairs. He stated that the initial quote of $200 would only cover the gate and not the posts because they would require more labor to fix. After getting an updated quote, signing a contract, and paying the 50% deposit for the repairs I was told work would be done when the crew came out to fix my neighbor's fence. The next day (20 January) the crew came out and worked on my neighbor's fence and fixed my gate, but didn't get the posts fix. I called Mr. Barr and told him what happened and he said the crew would be back the next day to fix the posts which didn't happen. On 25 January, the remaining repair cost was charged to my account without the work being completed, contrary to the terms of our contract. I called Mr. Barr and after he talked to Mr. Granger I was assured that the crew was going to be out on the 26th to complete the work. Guess what! They never showed up. read more
