I got gel x done here on March 29th, all of my nails have fallen off as of April 1. The first nail fell off on March 30th. I am on a trip so I cannot go get it fixed. Nails were coming off as she was doing them, and I insisted that this will not work, but another technician said it will work out. I'm used to coming here for pedicures, but I'm not going to even come here for that because my pedicure is already chipping off. I'm really upset because we went back-and-forth on this and they did not listen to me. So I will not be coming back here and I will not be recommending them to my family and friends, especially before a big trip. So much for being Fendy and trendy. Also the manicure wasn't cheap and I always tip well!

I am loyal to Fendy Nail Paula for my Long Gel X nails and Naomi for my pedicures both are great! The service is GREAT amd the free Iced Vietnamese Coffee is strong (They have other drinks as well) Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

I went to take off my gel nails, and clean up my nails. they messed up my nails and this is how one of my nails looked like after I went home. First time I went it was 10$ only, second time it was 15$ despite me going only two weeks after. I don't recommend, they up charge depending on who's at the cashier they don't always go by the same price.

I pay for better nails from my nail technician for the same price. I haven't been here in years and wanted to give it a try but they charged me 15 to remove my gel on my pedicure and 30 for the pedicure. They didnt soak off my nails so it took longer than it needed. Her application for the acrylic overlay is so thick and isnt touching my cuticle so the polish application doesn't look nice. I'm sad and I couldn't tip sadly because both services cost 100$ total and that's all my cash. I won't be back. I wish Derek still worked here he was my favorite! I absolutely enjoy this nail salon. I would call it a place to escape and unwind even. The ambience is festive, currently fall, and inviting. Its atmosphere will get you into the spirit of any Holiday. As a little perk, which I thoroughly enjoy, is a free drink as you are pampered. I always get the lemonade but I've seen others get an iced coffee drink and even champagne. I'd like to shout out my nail technician, Nina. Today she created a conservative fall look for me with a touch of black to bring out the Halloween vibe. She does a quality job on acrylic nails too. That's what I have. I've included a picture of my new paint job done today. Thanks Nina and thanks Fendy nails for making me feel at home and appreciated as a customer.

I have visited this place about 10 times now. Each visit is the same, in a good way. I value consistency. First off, it's clean and bright. It's always decorated beautifully - and during the holiday season it really shines. When you come with a friend they try to seat you together for the service which is nice as most places don't care or don't try to do so. They offer a self-service candy bar at the front right when you walk in. Help yourself to a nice selection of candy to eat while you're relaxing during your service. You also get one free beverage (they have Vietnamese coffee, sodas, water). I have only come for gel pedicures so I can't comment on any other service. The pricing is competitive, baseline is $35 and it goes up. Every service you want adds a little more $ - callus removal, more massage time, hot towel wrap, etc - If you're getting gel add $10 to each package you pick. If gel French manicure add another $5 on top of that. I have worked with a lot of nail techs there (I don't have a preference) and they've all done a great job. They are all kind, considerate, and never make you feel rushed no matter how busy they get. *their foot massages are the only downside. They have all been weak. I like a good strong foot massage and I've never gotten one here. I believe the owners work the front reception (a male and a female who are always there and seem authoritative) and they are always so polite and nice when greeting you and checking you in. They also walk the floor and wipe down windows, fluff pillows, offer you drinks. It really adds a nice touch. Is getting your nails done pricey? Yep. Does it feel worth it coming here? Yes. I've been here maybe 5-7 times for a full set or waxing. They are always professional, friendly, and fast. They always answer the phone and are good with walk-in's on a weekday. Everything is super clean, and they're one of the few nail salons that I see uses proper sanitation for pedicures. You can go to most of their nail techs and turn out with a great design. They always check in with me during the process to make sure everything is ok with the nail design. By far the best nail salon I've been to! Nails in the photo were done by Sophia

Fendy appointments are a gift I give myself. Lash extensions review: if you have ever considered getting lash extensions, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Jolie. I wouldn't trust anyone else with glue near my eyes - see my before and after picture to highlight that even those of us with very thin and sparse lashes can rock a natural looking extension! Nail review: I often go with a friend for quick manis (gel dip nails) and love that it makes it easier to feel put together no matter what the work or personal life brings during the week. I've tried their manis and pedis on the chairs, have done nails with and without tips, have had friends do the chrome over their nails (extra coat but looks stunning), acrylic, gel, ombre dip...it's all good. I love that I can make appointments online if I don't want to talk to a human. You check in on a tablet when you get there and have a few chairs as a waiting area. They offer complimentary beverage, but they are also ok if you bring your own (I'll sometimes stop at the nearby coffee shop). All the technicians seem very knowledgeable and competent, and if there is something you don't like are very accommodating about fixing anything (please tell them when you first notice and don't wait till the end). I think I'll try some designs next time I go. I'm attaching a picture of nails 3 weeks in that look perfect except for growth, this is what I've come to expect and am very satisfied with their consistent quality service.

I have gone to Fendy for a few months now and they have always surpassed my expectations. I come in with a design or vision and they make it so much prettier than what I come in planning. Today Jolie did my take off of dip and applied new dip, I showed her the picture of the light sparkly blue I wanted and she did not disappoint. She took her time and shaped my nails perfectly and gave me just the right amount of sparkle. She is amazing!

Naomi was the one who did my nails for my first time there and she was amazing!! I got a gel-x manicure and the quality was so good. The atmosphere is extremely homely and welcoming and the employees really care about their job. Overall a fantastic experience and will keep going back!

I started coming to Fendy after following my pedicure technician, and I'm so glad I did! Most of the techs here are super friendly and helpful. I usually come every 2-3 weeks and bring along my 3-year-old, who is always on the move. The staff is so sweet--they all give me a helping hand with her when needed. The owner's wife is such a blessing; she's always on the floor with the techs, jumping in to help however she can. And the candy table for little ones? My daughter's absolute favorite part of every visit! Pedicure Technician - LYNN OMG, where do I start? I've always been self-conscious about my feet, but Lynn makes me feel so comfortable. She takes her time, listens, and even gives feedback when needed. Every time she does my pedicure, I leave feeling amazing. She shapes everything up perfectly! Honestly, I don't even look down to check her work anymore--I just pick my color and let her work her magic. I truly love this place and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for quality service with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Nail Technician - NAOMI Naomi is such a gem! She's warm, attentive, and always makes sure I'm comfortable from start to finish. She has a gentle touch but still pays close attention to detail, and I can tell she truly cares about her clients leaving happy. Every time she does my nails, they come out flawless and last so well.

Okay I give it to this nail salon they are very clean very nice atmosphere. But then prices for nails yikes. I went in and got coffin long pink French tip nails and they wanted to charge me 90 dollars!!! Wth. I didn't get no design or diamonds or glitter. I recommend Nail Box in Hawaiian Gardens. I got the same nails with glitter and diamonds for 65 dollars. Only reason I came here is cause my mom gave me a gift card. read more

I really wanted to like this nail salon. The inside was cute, decorated for easter and had an adorable little candy bar set up where you could scoop a little cup of an assortment of candies. I was immediately put off when my pedicure technician pulled out a metal foot file (which is illegal in the state of California and a violation of their cosmetology license). However, my nails looked great and I was really pleased with them when I left. My nails were medium length, almond shaped with light pink dip. That same day, I attempted to scrape a price sticker off an item, and the dip on my thumb cracked and broke off of the tip. Within 3 days, I had 5 nails where the dip cracked off into significant pieces and broke my nails. There is no way I can justify spending $100 for a gel pedi and dip mani to have dangerous tools used on my body and for my nails to look horrible and broken after a few days. I will not return. read more

My Daughter brought me here and the nail salon is beyond gorgeous. It's very modern and clean. Krystal is the best nail technician I've ever had, she does things in her process that I've never seen any other technician do. I just moved to this area so I read the reviews & wanted to try it out. My experience was horrible. Kevin has alot of reviews, So Being that he had alot of reviews I wanted to give him a try. WORST DECISION! He was rude , and felt so rushed. This nail bar is pricey and pricey isnt the problem. Coming from Irvine and newport this is what am use to. But never Have i ever paid this price with the customer service so horrible. Andy was very nice & sweet. Definitely was not his fault. But I will never return to this nail bar. So sad because its one close to home. Nails were definitely not worth the price tag. Showed a picture of what I wanted which was so super easy just pastel colorful tips. He was not even helpful to help with colors. Was so annoyed at that point that I just got a nude color to get out of there. read more

Fendy Nail Lounge is located in Ralphs shopping center on Ball and Bloomfield. What a fun place to get your nails done!! I was desperate for a gel manicure and pedicure for my honeymoon. I was leaving for Mexico the next day, and I called in to see if they could squeeze me in. The man on the phone was extremely welcoming and told me to walk right on in. I only. had to wait a couple minutes before getting seated. As Andy (who I believe is the owner) was walking me to my seat, he offered me a complimentary beverage (I believe the choices were Vietnamese iced coffee, lemonade, or water - I could be wrong). I opted for the Vietnamese Iced Tea, which was excellent. I don't remember who did my nails, but he did an excellent job. A piece of lint unfortunately fell on one of my nails, and he filed the polish down and repolished without any issues. After you get your nails done, there is a candy bar, where you can take some candy to-go, and an ice cream bar, where Andy will scoop you some ice cream to-go. Getting my nails done at Fendy was such a fun experience and I can't wait to go back! read more

The service there is amazing the quality of the nails as well. Tommy is the best I asked for a design didn't Have a picture he just freehanded it the customer service there is amazing. The establishment itself is well taken care of very clean and they also serve you refreshments while you wait and have a candy bar as well for you to enjoy. I've been looking for a nail salon forever! after being disappointed time after time, I came across this place on yelp and decided to check it out! When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed and felt so loved by the owner! I actually felt as if i was important and that they were there for me ! My nail tech was Dion and HE WENT OFF! I showed him a reference picture and asked for a different color and i could not be more in love with my nails they look so gorgeous and i feel so much more confident! He was so gentle and also always made sure that i felt comfortable and to let him know if anything was bothering me (he was so sweet ) getting offered some free Vietnamese iced coffee was definitely a highlight of my time there and it was such a great experience overall! Came in today because 5 days ago i got my nails done with gel and one of them chipped. In my initial appointment I was told that if anything happens they'll fix it within a week. I've come to this nail salon multiple times all have been fine but nothing extraordinary. Anyways this time I called ahead to confirm they could take me I was confirmed to come in. Upon arrival I was told to sit and wait and I sat for about 15-20 minutes before I decided to get up and approach someone to ask about the wait. I had been sitting and waiting because the nail tech had been working on another client and mind you she was still shaping her nails when i walked in the door. By the time that I went to ask about the wait she was filling up an airbrush to start design work so I could tell it would still be a while before I was seen. As I ask about the wait an older gentleman who typically is found behind the checkout counter takes out his airpod and I let him know I chipped my nail and I had been waiting for a while and was asking if I should come back at another time as it seemed there was a lot of work still left to do. He says the nail tech who's going to fix my nail will be done in a couple minutes. I could tell that was clearly not the case. I said i wasn't too sure that was the case and got cut off to this man raising his voice and saying well if you want to come back you're wasted your time then and threw his hands up and then laughed at me. Then I tried to apologize and explain I didn't have much time but could come back but couldn't even get the words out before he said I'm telling you it will be a few minutes! Then another woman jumped in and offered another nail tech to fix my nail who was free most of the time I was waiting. His name was Tommy and he was great. I got my nail fixed and when i walked out the original nail tech was still working on the client as expected. I walked out pretty upset. read more

I asked for a Gel X set and I swear she did not know how to put gel on bc she glopped so much on there on the underside of my nail, when I told it was uncomfortable so she told me "don't worry about it," and didn't wanna fix her mistake. Another girl had to fix it after she insisted that my nails were "too curved" for her to use less gel when I asked her to take them off. Not all true bc In all honesty, I saw that she used the wrong gel x tip type to begin with, she should have used sculpted and in the end she wasted an hour of my and hers time fixing her mistake and it was not worth what I paid plus tip, but she seemed like she really needed it and I did not wanna bother taking them off again. read more

I really want to like this place. It's nice, clean, everyone is friendly enough. But the techs don't do a great job. $45 for gel pedicure and they give you a 60 second massage with lotion after. Actually didn't even lotion my friends legs when we were there last. Didn't push back, clip cuticle beds. Paid extra for callus removal and they literally did what other salons do with a regular pedi! We've been 3 times. Won't be going back. read more

I'll start with this: they serve complimentary drinks now. *heart eye emojis* I opted for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, which did not disappoint. For my service, I went for the Signature Pedi, which was a level of extra that I enjoy. Like, I had the juice from orange slices squeezed onto my legs along with an exfoliating scrub during the massage. It felt luxurious and fancy. Seriously, the whole experience made me feel pampered and bougie and ~designer~. Love it! read more

First time I was here, I walked in at 1pm for a mani/pedi and it was very busy. I was seated fairly quickly and offered a complimentary beverage, which was nice. They serve alcohol in case you're interested. I had to wait about 15min in my seat until someone started on my pedi. Only after she finished was someone able to do my full set, so I was pretty much there for 2.5 hours... granted I didn't make an appointment. Both my nail technicians were very sweet, but their work was terrible. My pedi color was so uneven, some parts were lighter than others. As for my nails, I had to have her reshape them several times. I got very impatient because of how long I was there that I didn't have her fix how thick she had made my nails or have her clean the acrylic that had built up under my nail from her work, which I've never had to tell someone to do... it should just be done. Anyway, I decided to give the place another shot but with someone else. I made an appointment this time, I think it was the manager who penciled me in. To be honest, I was 5 min late. When I arrived, I was seated and left to wait for 20min. The manager was nowhere to be seen. No one said sorry for the wait, or updated me on when someone would free up to take me, no one said anything to me. Another woman showed up with an appointment shortly after I arrived and she was also waiting to be seated. I got up and left and won't be back. read more

Very happy with my basic gel manicure and gel pedicure! Didn't get anything too crazy but this is the first time in a LONG time that no one has cut me while trimming my cuticles. On top of that I got a free mimosa! Not sure if the mimosa is because they just opened but if the owner is reading this I recommend they keep the free mimosa! Came in to have my nails done for my summer vacay last minute because my usual girl was booked. Showed what I wanted and no questions of change or alternatives. Had Kevin do my nails, who I find out later is the "go to person" for nails, and achieved my artwork goal. He defined the shape that I wanted without layering my nail with a thick gel builder. They lasted for 3 weeks and my nails grew so long afterwards. Cannot wait to go back again this week to have them re-done for my Vegas trip! read more

I have been here several times and never had an issue until yesterday I honestly got such horrible service durning my pedicure! I got no massage at all she dug out my ingrown very ruff that they are swollen and red and painful today. She kept messing up my polish and my toenails were cut crooked I asked her to just file straight she huffed and puffed roughly with cotton all took off all paint, said some stuff in her language to lady next to her and repainted, but because she rushing and mad I guess she couldn't get polish correct she wiped off 4 times and did it angry each time. She shut off my massage chair I get it to paint my toes but over all got no massage and no massage chair for pretty much my entire pedicure. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and they never disappoint. Everyone is super friendly, they offer you complementary drinks (water, coffee, alcoholic drinks etc.) and always give the best service. The place has a a welcoming friendly cute vibe. I came to get a pedicure and gel x done. They give you complimentary snacks and drink, including Vietnamese coffee!! I thought their concept was cute, and the nail techs are friendly. My nail tech Kevin did a great job on my gel-x set. He took his time and even help me make a decision on the color after I showed him what I wanted. read more

The Scan: It was done with makeup on which was mistake one. It said I had medium/dark skin that…read moreisn't sensitive to sun, based on my brown eyeshadow. It also said I'm 92% oily but I was wearing beef tallow on my face after working all day to help my dry skin (that has been dry my whole life). Any well trained esthetician would be able to see that the scan was inaccurate. They also didn't ask any questions about current products or skin history to verify whether the scan was accurate or not. They based my treatment on the scan which may or may not be the cause of the issue I ended up with. Treatment: good treatment overall but nothing to compare it to since this was my first Korean facial. My skin had a nice glow afterward. The staff was nice so no complaints there. The products weren't clearly explained and I didn't receive any info about them which was another red flag. Post: 3 days after my treatment I developed dermatitis, as seen in pictures and determined by my dermatologist. It's unclear what caused the dermatitis. Post one week: skin has healed mostly with some redness still around my mouth. No scarring. The staff saw my original review and was very concerned and called me. I admit I should have contacted them first prior to the review. They talked to me at length and asked many questions and they did truly seem to care and want to make it right. They did say that they are tightening procedures and the makeup should have been cleaned off first and said they should have asked about current products. This is something they said they normally do but didn't that day. They had concern about the beef tallow but I didnt use any after the facial, just the products they recommended (and I purchased from them). I don't think that was the cause. They offered another facial (very gentle and healing) and my money back which I appreciate considering I paid $100 for a derm appointment and antibiotics. I haven't taken their offer yet but I do think they were genuinely surprised and caring during the process so I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3.

Finally found a place to get our manicure and pedicure done. My daughter and I both got pedicure and I decided to get GEL X done. Haven't gotten a full set since 2010, because never found a tech worth going back to. I'm truly happy with Kevin's work. Meticulous and precise.
