I'm so disappointed with my experience at Eye Candy Lash Bar. I paid $170 for hybrid lash extensions and a brow wax on January 21, and the lashes were way too thick, heavy, and overloaded with glue. I have naturally straight lashes, but when my usual lash lady removed them on February 1 (because I had to drive all the way to Monrovia to fix this mess), my natural lashes were curled downward from the weight--completely ruined. Most of the extensions this place glued on fell off within 10 days, and the ones that stayed were stuck together with so much glue that my eyelids were itchy and uncomfortable. It took my lash tech 30 minutes just to remove the remaining mess before she could even apply a new set. The whole experience felt rushed and careless. The brow wax was fine, but definitely not worth the price considering the nightmare my lashes turned into. I've been getting my lashes done since 2014, and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. Overpriced, terrible quality, and not worth it! read more

Waiting the full 2 weeks for the review. Came for Botox. Probably is about 70% of no movement. Still have quite a bit with my frown line area. Wouldn't come back. I experienced the worse pain to my face with a massive migraine for 2 full days having to no relief unless I took both Tylenol and ibuprofen. It was awful. I have never experienced anything like it. After the 2 days of pain I woke up with a black eye and it was so bad it lasted 10 days. So I had to live life with a black eye. Massive pain after treatment and still didn't get full results. I have only gotten laser hair removal here on my body and the prices are a good deal compared to others. I've only had one issue with scheduling when they reserved me a time slot that was too short for what I wanted done but they were able to squeeze me in. Some of their prices are a little bit horrifically low for what they're offering. I wouldn't go here to get anything done to my face and definitely nothing under the skin. I've been to other places where workers, nurses etc make you feel welcome but this place was filled up with attitude. I didn't even get the Botox in the part where i mainly wanted it. It was my first time doing Botox and the nurse who attended me seemed like she was in such a rush/ wanted to sell me more Botox giving me a consultation on the spot. You walk in thinking you're paying one price and later find out there was a charge from the nurse and another charge from the company. I was badly bruised from my Botox session. (Pictures attached) And YES I have had Botox in the same area many times from a few other nurses and this has never happened. Would NOT recommend this location for Botox, please go somewhere else. I knew something was wrong when during the injections, it was extremely painful as the nurse was injecting and she went very very fast while injecting the needles around my eye. I had never experienced this pain during any of my other ~20 Botox sessions I have had in the past It's been 3 weeks and the bruises are still yellowed and healing, at first makeup couldn't even cover the bruises and it made my eye bags even darker. I came here because the Buena Park location had to cancel, so they offered me 5% off. I met Theresa, my nurse who did my undereye filler. I have had Botox before and was a little nervous, but she assured me the only pain would be from the Lidocaine. She was right. It felt like a pinch but it was manageable. I didn't even feel her inject filler under my eye. I saw a lift instantly, but she did warn me that it might be lumpy and I might have bruising the next few weeks. I will post pictures once I am healed. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was that even though they said they take Care Credit, they wouldn't take it unless it was over $1000. So I tried to purchase a coupon special of buy one filler get one 75% off, which Theresa recommended and their Black Friday special was advertising. Well, it was the Monday before Black Friday and the receptionist told me they were sold out. How do you sell out of a coupon? I didn't get it. I was a little annoyed because they didn't post a sign or anything. I would like to continue to come here but they need to post corrections to their advertising and post clearly that Care Credit is for services $1000 and over. 12/12/22- update: The lumpiness and bruising under my eyes healed! It was my first time at this place and my first time getting lashes done. I now realize visiting a new place can be both good and bad. When i called to schedule appointment they requested cash only because " their credit card reader was not working." As a new client they either try their best to impress you, or you get tossed to the newest employee as a guinea pig because you don't know who to request. I arrived early than my appointment and the service rendered were: whole set of hybrid lashes and eyebrow wax. You're in a room with 3 other people getting their lashes done. When they were all done she seemed to rush through me and half assed the waxing. Then chit chats with co workers in vietnamese as if no one can understand. Upon completion I mentioned that the lash result didn't look even she proceeded to say my eyes aren't opening up evenly. If you as a client mention something you are not satisfied with and they turn around n blame you. I didn't wanna argue so just paid/tipped for service ( dispite being dissatisfied) and left. My total was $145 i tipped $15 = 160 ( no receipt given) She gave me no advice for how to care for lashes or what to expect and when to touch up. Since I didn't receive any information on after care or what to expect. That's not very professional.
