The garlic cheese naan was fresh and cheesy, and the chapli kebabs were juicy and delicious. The samosas and pani poori were crispy and flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. To finish, we enjoyed masala tea and kulfi -- the perfect sweet ending. Great prices, generous portions, and very nice, friendly service every time. No wonder this place stays busy!

The owner sends in a response to the review almost a couple of minutes later stating this. "Yes that's Uber Eats that's what you will get in delivery with 26 dollars thanks for your kind feedback please find us that much food in 26 dollars on third party app like Uber Eats if you can't afford delivery don't get it delivered order it at store and pickup the same food you will get in 18 dollars at store pickup thanks again for your feedback still get us that much food in store pickup in 26 dollars somewhere else As well" The owner is very rude & dishonest. After I had made my review I presume the owner mass reported the review so google's review ai would take it down. Then, the owner floods the comments with positive reviews almost bot like. The quality of food should not matter where it was ordered from whether it was from a third party app or from a pickup order. The issue wasn't where I could not afford the meal, nor was it mentioned in my review above. Quite rude. The portions did not match the price & I had missing items from the order as shown in the image. If you would like to try out a better desi style restaurant I would recommend Kabobeesh.

This place is beyond popular as I walked in and there was a line and it was just loud. Not a bad thing, just shows that they don't play around here. The service was exceptional as the line did progress quickly, the man at the register easily understood the multiple meals, and the food came out quickly and was served to our table. I had the beef shawarma maroosh way which usually comes with beef, pickles, tomatoes, and garlic sauce (egg allergy so I removed it). It was so tasty, the flavors just went crazy. The rest of my family had the kefta kabob sandwich, cheesesteak (raved about and apparently very highly rated), chicken shish tawook sandwich, falafel with taboulay sandwich, and rice pudding (not pictured). Honestly, regardless of if you eat halal or not, this is a must try restaurant. The vast options on the menu can be overwhelming but you get bang for your buck as they load up on your order.

I was upset and dissapointed at the lack of flavor. The meat was not seasoned at all and looked so plain. I on my are one half and pickled through the other half. Who do cheesesteak places not season their meat!? So irritating! The fries we ordered were also just plain. No hint of salt thrown on there before or after being cooked. I asked my friend what the deal was and I was informed I was supposed to ask for salt and pepper on the steak and also get sauce on the side for the fries. I don't feel like I'll be back but if I do, it'll be with someone else that's paying because a dollar aside is ridiculous!

I got both of them since I was starving after a 2 hour drive, and decided never to come back here again because their hospitality seemed lacking (-1 star for first impression) But. The fish over rice was mind blowing - it was a batter fried fish marinated in spices, which I will need to have again. I got a side of 2 falafels and they were extremely delicious as well. 5 stars for the flavor. I'll probably come here again, we'll within hours to try more of their menu. Nothing much to write about ambience here, pretty dirty tables and sticky sauce bottles (love the green sauce though). You'll thank yourself for carrying a hand sanitizer. Given that I'm moving to Philly, I probably should have a list of late night joints ready - any recommendations?

Upon searching through some disastrous restaurants, my eyes lit up for this restaurant. I was hoping the chicken and rice with the magic white sauce would be as good as the New York Gyro halal food truck down Market street. They're my favorite. My husband got the lamb tikka with rice and white sauce and I got the chicken tikka with rice and white sauce. Extra white sauce on the side. Oh. My. Goodness. I could of took a bath in the white sauce, that's how delicious this white sauce is. The Tikka's had some delicious, tender meat with onions and peppers.. even the salad made me smile. And if you know me, you know lettuce and I don't get along.. we're just not compatible. This salad could of definitely been my second husband. The white sauce just added into the deliciousness. That warm pita bread just melted my heart. I thought that I was cheating. Just all around scrumptious! Just thinking about this place has me wanting to run to eat their again. Seriously, go.
