Was concerned about the portions, but was super surprised by how much there was. The food had just the right heat. I highly recommend getting the garlic naan because it is PERFECTION. The waiters were really nice when we picked up the food to go.

Food was good, just be mindful of their menu and pricing. Wasn't busy when we went but service was slow. Lunch Buffett is $30 with only 5-6 entrees offered, most with chicken so we decided to order Al La carte as an individual dish was $14.99. However, prices on menu are not correct and entrees are $1-$2 more than what's stated on the menu. When we asked about this when we got the check they shrugged it off and stated it wasn't a big deal and it's only a couple dollars more. True, but should be mentioned upon sitting. If you ask for water it's bottled water and you're charged for it, but again not asked if you want bottle or tap. I also changed my order and said multiple times to make sure I didn't get the first thing I ordered and they guy even repeated no chicken wrap. When we got our food I was given the chicken wrap along with the butter chicken I ordered. When brought to the attention of the server he proceed to tell us to take it to go but would charge us for it. Got our receipt and we just got the itemized one not one to sign off with or leave a tip on. However, not sure if this is a cultural thing? Garlic naan was amazing! Went great with the butter chicken.

I don't understand the high ratings for this place. Maybe, I ordered on an off day but the Lamb Biryani and Chicken Korahi I tried were just average. Chicken dish was average but the Lamb was so overcooked and very chewy that I ended up throwing it away without eating. Even the rice in the Biryani wasn't that flavorful but it was decent. Most of the high ratings seem to be for their Buffet, so not sure if they put more of an effort there.

Delightful Indian food. I got takeout with friends. The order did take a while to make. The food was perfect; exactly what I was looking for. The order was correct, the food was spicy but not too spicy and everything was fresh.

Spectacular! Been reading so many reviews on social media so I decided to pick up takeout tonight. I was greeted by Murad who was super friendly. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken along with Naan. While waiting I chatted with the owner, Jami along with Murad. They gave me some delicious Bangladeshi Chai Tea to try, which was delicious!! There was a good crowd of people dining in and lots of takeout/delivery orders being picked up/placed. They also have a daytime buffet available. I believe the work with Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, etc. I couldn't wait to get it home and try the food. It did not disappoint!! Everything was absolutely delicious!!! Great to have a local Indian restaurant nearby. There is also plenty of parking available. Look forward to returning.

Amazing spot. 1) They have extensive Indian menu. From South Indian lamb Madras, West Indian lamb dansak, East Indian lamb jhalfrazi to North Indian lamb rogan Josh. 2) The menu is Halal Indian, per the menu. If you follow the Halal dietary needs. 3) Best Indian restaurant in this area. 4) They also have buffet everyday in the afternoon.

The service, food and place was epic. I come with my family all the time and the food is just chefs kiss. This is definitely a good place to dine.

We immediately placed the order for the lamb makluba, knowing that it would take about 45 minutes to prepare. We also ordered the tabouleh, Za'atar & Cheese, the Olive Bistro Spread, and mixed grill for 4. The Za'atar & Cheese was like a pizza, minus tomato sauce. The Olive Bistro Spread came with hummus, baba ghanouj, labneh, muhammara, two cheese rolls, and two fried kibbeh, accompanied by warm pita bread. It was a lot of food, my favorite dip was the labneh. Mix Grill for 4 came with six kofta kebabs, two shish kebabs, and four chicken kebabs, served alongside tender beef shawarma, grilled vegetables, house rice, and warm spicy bread. It was a lot of food. Some meats were overcooked though, and I prefer other mixed grills I've gotten at other Arabic restaurants. My favorite item was the lamb makluba, which had a seasoned rice with extremely tender bone in lamb chunks. I'd get just the makluba and maybe an appetizer next time so I'd have way less leftovers.

It wasnt a very large place but had enough space to accommodate maybe 10-15 people? There is also outside seating. I bet its nice during a nice sunny weather. As you can see in the photos submitted by many Yelpers, the food looks very good! One of the things that caught my attention was actually how they prepare their plates and how nicely the meats were cooked. When i tasted my orders, they did not disappoint one bit! Chicken and beef were very flavorful and the smell that wafted inside the car as i was bringing them home was sooo darn good it was almost torture. The rice that came with the beef and chicken gyro was flavorful for some reason and the mix of "noodle strings?" was surprisingly very good. Pita bread was nice and soft although became a bit soggy after since it was placed below the meat. Perhaps it was also to catch the oil? Hmm. But either way, i was a happy customer today and ate my big fill...Fyi after a workout. Not good!! But sometimes you just have to be bad right? Will definitely be recommending this place!

We arrived on a Saturday the place was absolutely packed but we were seated within about 5 minutes. We were seated right near the smokers and it was so cool to watch them prepare each dish. The presentation here is phenomenal as is the quality of all the meat here. A fresh salad with oil was brought complimentary to the table and it was delicious. We ordered the Buffalo smoked chicken wings and Baba-Ghanoj for appetizers. The chicken wings were so tender that as you picked them up the meat literally fell off the bone! The sauce was subtle but had a nice Buffalo kick at the end. The baba-ghanoj was served cold and was perfect with a little sprinkle of salt. The fresh pitas paired perfectly with it. I'm glad I did my research on this spot as everyone recommended the fresh mint lemonade. Wow amazing and refreshing I love that it came out as a slushy like consistency. I could easily drink them all day and they're probably amazing to eat outside in the warmer months and enjoy. We each ordered the meat platters in 1lb portions which are served with fresh smoked rice that is so good and filling. I wanted the beef shank but sadly they were out and ordered the smoked beef short rib. They served everything on a platter for us which the presentation I must say is outstanding . My boyfriend ordered the smoked brisket and it was so tender and flavorful he kept saying "it's terrible you won't like it because he didn't want to share it at all LOL". We had no room for dessert but I cannot wait to return for our next dinner date night! I would definitely give it 4/5 stars. Nothing was terrible the only complaints I had is once we were seated and our order was taken our server asked if we want appetizers first which we said yes and everything came out at once. Which is fine not terrible just our table was packed and hard to eat. Additionally once our food came out it was hard to get anyone's attention for more drinks but it was no too much of an issue that it ruined the night as they were definitely way too busy and seemed to be short staffed. I definitely want to return and check out the rest of their menu. I highly recommend making the trip to Kanoon!

We ordered a whole range of things including chicken kebab, chicken gyro, tahini cauliflower,…read morelabneh, and hummus. Everything was delicious, but I'll leave the food writing to the Yelpers with more sophisticated palates than I. (Actually, I take that back--the fresh-baked pita was amazing and I would eat it with/for every meal if I could.) The real reason I wanted to leave a review the service, which went above and beyond. Let me start by saying that Al Basha takeout has a wonderfully efficient order-number-based system for managing the hundreds of orders they get on a daily basis. But if, say, the person who placed the order sent you to pick up the food with the wrong order number, you're going to struggle, and that's not the restaurant's fault. With that prelude and without getting into the details, we'll just say there was a user error issue with my order that led to a mix-up and a very late pick-up. Everyone from the Al Basha staff with whom I interacted could not have handled it any better. They were very apologetic, not because they did anything wrong (to be clear, they didn't), but because they were disappointed our meal hadn't gone well and wanted to fix that. The top priority of the manager with whom I dealt was making sure that my wife--it was Mothers' Day--got the best meal possible, and made sure to send me home with fresh bread and a treat for the moms. It was true hospitality, and greatly appreciated. TLDR version: great food, excellent service, out-of-this-world pita, and make darned sure you have the right order number.

The chicken kebab was dry and the shawarma was a bit too sour for my liking (not sure if they squeezed lemon on it or something). The kofta was okay but nothing spectacular. The filet mignon, was a major let down. My server didn't ask how we'd like it cooked, which is medium rare for my family. It came back well done. He said everyone usually prefers it to be well done, but I think that's a mistake that shouldn't be made and preference should always be asked, especially with steak. We asked for it to be swapped, and it still came back well done. When we let them know again, they brought it back a little on the rare side, which is fine for my family, but had it been another family, not so sure. I'm sure they have hundreds of orders for the char grilled meets, so I'm a little confused on why the technique has not already been established My favorite dish had to be the makanik - which is pan seared lamb sausages finished with sweet and tangy pomegranate molasses. I usually don't like lamb because of the gamey flavor but these sausages didn't have that. I didn't taste much of the pomegranate molasses. The arugula & beet salad would've been good if the pomegranate molasses vinaigrette was less sweet. The stuffed grape leaves were also a bit too sour. The lemon was just taking over the entire flavor profile. I didn't really taste the tomato or parsley. The falafel platter was good but nothing different than other falafels that I've had. The mint lemonade was so refreshing. Almost everyone in the restaurant had one and I understand why. The mint is not overpowering I had high expectations because I've seen this place on instagram but I'm afraid they were not met. Service was good, but the food definitely needs some work. There's valet parking, which i recommend because it's hard to find street parking
