The lamb kadai was delicious. I ordered mild and it was filled with spices and flavor. The lamb Rogan Josh had not much flavor but was still decent. The vegetable samosa was the perfect start and u could have eaten naybe 9500. The wait staff kind of ignored us but in a polite manner but made it more difficult to pay and wrap up service. The place was smaller but comfortable.

I visited on a Tuesday afternoon with a colleague. We came right before lunch hour ended, apparently the restaurant closes from 2:30-3:30. We walked in at 2:15 and we were greeted immediately. We were seated and proceeded to order vegetable samosas, garlic naan, shrimp tikki masala and lamb saag. All of the food came out quickly and piping hot. There were absolutely no complaints from our table about taste, all the spices of the dishes were on point! We're here in Philly for work, but will probably visit this restaurant again to try other things on the menu. The menu is very extensive. The ambiance is quaint and cozy. Also, we were given complimentary honey buns that were delicious. Try them you won't be disappointed.

$20 for 5 pieces of lamb in the vinadloo... INSANE STUFF DO NOT GO. It's so sad when places scam you like this....

This restaurant used to be Laxmi's (another Indian restaurant) and now it's called Manayunk Indian Grill and under new management. I was really sad when Laxmi's closed down as it was one of my favorite Indian food spot so I was eager to try this spot. We ordered about $100 worth of takeout: biryani, chicken tikka masala, naan, samosas... all spicy. We were excited. I wish I could give this place a good review but the food was very average... I'd say below average. The tikka masala was a bit too sweet and lacked spice and flavor especially the chicken. The biryani was a little better but def not like I remember it from Laxmi's. The samosa were okay with the chutney. We were very disappointed especially for the price point. We don't mind paying for good food but paying a lot for sub par food is just frustrating.

The food came out piping hot and the server was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be coming back here.

First time eating at this restaurant. It's located in Manayunk section of Philadelphia, not a huge spot but it is cozy. The food was good, and it appears to be family owned. Service was fine because I was literally the only one dining in. More take away was happening. Over all a decent place to get your Indian food fix.

Okay so if you are reading this review, then be aware that the the regular food here is good, pricey, but definitely good. Read on to understand why they lost the 3 stars. First things first, it's a great addition to Main Street and we have ordered from here at least 5 times, all the Indian food is legit great .... I am talking chicken Rogan Josh, Dal tadka, Chicken chettinad, biryani amazing !!! Indochinese is Top notch as well. But why they lost the 3 stars is because the Seekh kebabs are the ones you get at the Indian grocery store in the frozen section, I know because I have eaten them all and compared them side by side, and don't get me wrong the frozen seekh kebabs are good too, just not worth $15 ++ something when I could be getting them for way cheaper! Plus they did not come with the mint sauce. In case you have had these and love them, message me and I will let you know the brand name. I may be too harsh but a good Indian restaurant would not make a mistake like this...... maybe just not have Seekh kebabs on the menu ?!?

Overall, we thought the food was pretty good, but over priced. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Naan, Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Hakka Noodles, and some Chicken Fried Rice. The food was spiced very well. The service was mediocre. Our server seemed inattentive and we were the only ones in the restaurant, a table of 5. She was young and had an air pod in. She couldn't even hear what we wanted to order, seemed confused as a worker. The paying process was confusing, and she stood right overtop of us waiting for a tip. It made us very uncomfortable.

Food is really tasty. Visited second time and enjoyed. And mango lassi wasn't too sweet! Enjoyable.

So we were walking along Main Street and this place caught my eye. We went in and I got the Greek salad with grilled chicken. My wife got the falafel. She said it was some of the best falafel she's had. Which is saying a lot. Much like Shania Twain most things don't impress her much. I don't think she's care if she met Brad Pitt. My salad was terrific. Hearty and inexpensive. The pita was excellent too. Only one guy on doing everything and he was quick. Felt a little bad for him. You can dine in but no bathroom.

First, let's talk parking. Parking in Manayunk is always a challenge, especially during the summer months. There are paid parking lots further down that I would highly recommend using because street parking can be difficult to find. We made a reservation ahead of time, and I definitely recommend doing that through OpenTable. When we arrived, it was a little warm inside, and I immediately noticed it. Thankfully, I always carry a fan with me, so it wasn't a big issue. Now let's get to the real reason for this review Ali!!!! When I tell you Ali was amazing, I mean AMAZING. Her personality, energy, attitude, and spirit made our entire dining experience. She was funny, knowledgeable, attentive, accommodating, and had excellent recommendations. Great service can turn a good meal into a great experience, and that's exactly what she did. We started with the cheesesteak rolls, which were served with a spicy ketchup. They were good and had great flavor. Next was the calamari, which was absolutely delicious. It came with fried jalapeños, and when you paired a piece of calamari with a jalapeño and dipped it in the sauce, it was perfection!!! We also ordered the mussels, and if you're a garlic lover, these are a must order. They were loaded with garlic and butter sauce served with crusty bread perfect for soaking up the broth. I did take away and they dumped my bread into the sauce so it was soggy. Suggesting, give fresh bread on takeaways wrapped separate. Best of all, almost every shell actually had a mussel in it which unfortunately isn't always the case at some restaurants. They were fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorite dishes of the night. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we couldn't pass up the special: three tacos and a margarita for $18. You do have to choose one protein for all three tacos; you can't mix and match. I chose shrimp, and my son chose chicken. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious. There wasn't a lot on them, but the flavor was incredible. You could taste the fresh corn tortilla, and the shrimp were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My son enjoyed the chicken tacos, although I personally thought the chicken was a little dry. One thing I absolutely loved was learning that the food is fresh and locally sourced. Ali explained that they don't use microwaves, and you can definitely taste the difference. For drinks, I ordered a strawberry pineapple margarita. There was a small mix-up with the strawberry, but Ali immediately fixed it and brought me strawberry syrup to make it right. Problem solved! The margaritas were delicious and STRONG, which is exactly what I like. Overall, my favorite items were the shrimp tacos, the mussels, and the margaritas. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was outstanding!!! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we're already planning to come back for brunch and try the mimosa tower. If you visit, ask for Ali. You won't regret it!! She made an already great meal even better. We'll definitely be back!

Service was good for the most part and the food was ok. The main reason for the low rating is because as we were eating a mouse runs out from the kitchen and we brought it to the attention of the staff who took about 10 minutes to catch the mouse. Now no one from the staff apologized for the rodent issue so I'm assuming that this is a common occurrence. None of the staff seemed bothered by the situation to let their manager know and no one offered us a discount due to that scene that just transpired in front of us. So my sister and her family who live here in Philly as well as my wife and I will not be eating here again.

Unfortunately, she didn't get the full experience I was hoping for. They offered a different menu for the holiday, and while the food was good, it just wasn't great like I remembered. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Food - 4/5 Parking - Street Parking Atmosphere - I've always loved the atmosphere here, from the romantic lighting to the beautiful bar area and, of course, the giant fish tanks. However, on Valentine's Day, the couples' tables in the center of the room were placed extremely close together. It felt like we were all part of the same conversation, even though everyone was practically whispering. Service - Our waiter was professional overall, friendly, and offered good recommendations. However, he forgot to mention that the water we ordered was $6 per bottle, which we assumed was complimentary. I'm not entirely sure if the pricing was listed anywhere, but it definitely caught us off guard when the bill came. What We Ordered - - Stuffed baby octopus salad (Way overpriced for two tiny stuffed octopus served with a small side salad) - Moussaka (Thankfully, one of their original menu items was available. This was very good and lived up to expectations) - Chilean Sea Bass (The flavor was good, but was a bit underwhelming. The dish felt like a missed opportunity and could have been much more satisfying) Final Thoughts - Would I come back for special occasions or holidays? Probably not, since I'd worry about a limited or altered menu that might not live up to past experiences. Would I return on a regular day? Absolutely. I know what they're capable of, and at their best, they truly deliver a great meal. I also want to mention that the restaurant was very thoughtful. They prepared a personalized menu with our names printed on it and gave my girlfriend a rose, which she absolutely loved. That extra touch definitely made the evening feel special.

It's a fast casual type place, and they also have Mexican food (which is pretty meh, but this review isn't about that). Everything I've ever had from here has been top notch, and I sure have had quite the variety! My typical go-to order is the pork belly in a pita with fries, but I've also had other variations. And I've also had the platters as well. I've loved all of them but the pork belly is definitely my favorite! The sauces are delicious, but my 2 faves are the spicy tzatziki and fresko sauce. Will usually get one of those 2 on my dishes. The dolmades are very yummy as well (usually get them as a side on my platter or will do a stand-alone order if I get a pita). I am OBSESSED with the spanakopita, I cannot get an order from here without that. I love dipping it in whatever sauce I have as well. I frequently do the dip trio for some variety also. Both the desserts (loukoumades and baklava) are delicious - they're not overly sweet which is perfect for me because I'm not into super sweet desserts. What I love most about this spot is that it feels indulgent but still fresh and on the healthier side, so you don't feel like you got hit by a truck as if you just stuffed your face with a massive burger or something. Which is a shame because the restaurant is generally pretty dang clean too so it seems like a miss than an intentional behavior to not keep things clean. So if you're in the area, I highly recommend Yiro Yiro! Now the part of the review no one ever comes for: - Water: While there is a water tap to get water, you are in Philly, the water isn't the greatest - Restrooms: There is a single occupancy restroom - Accessibility: The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible - Seating: There is some seating in the front but there's also a 'secret' dining room in the rear. Likewise about secrets, there is a parking lot for the shopping center in the rear as well. - Will it fill you up? I think in most cases, yes. If you're particularly hungry you may want to get a side, but it's certainly not a complete skimp out.
