I arranged a termite inspection where Juan Rivera was the Field Representative who performed the inspection. Juan was very thorough and also displayed a high level of enthusiasm for what he was doing but also for the company. Juan explained options in detail and readily answered questions that I had. To Fenn management, in my view, you have an outstanding, dedicated employee... be sure to do whatever you can to retain him! I mean that with all sincerity. Unfortunately, we did not choose Fenn for our termite treatment, which is no reflection on Juan at all. Fenn's pricing for treatment alone was quite competitive and had that been our only consideration, we likely would have chose Fenn. However, because of the timing and sequence of our exterior renovation plan (e.g., roof, paint, etc.), we wanted a termite treatment provider who could perform and complete wood repair/replacement at a reasonable cost. Fenn provided a quote for wood repair/replacement through a third-party supplier. The quote for repair was, well, quite frankly, absurdly high. The termite treatment provider that we did chose, also priced competitively, provides the wood repair/replacement in-house at a much more reasonable cost that well within a cost range that I would have expected. In sum, Juan was outstanding, Fenn's pricing for treatment was very competitive, but the shortfall was the third-party quote for wood repair/replacement. Lastly, if there is sufficient demand for potential customers such as myself who would like wood repair/replacement performed in conjunction with termite treatment, Fenn management may want to consider bringing this function in-house for a fair price... just a thought! read more

My husband and I needed pest control services to take care of an abnormally large black widow spider outside of our second story window. Tyler came out and sprayed the perimeter of our home and then tried to get the spider. The window wasn't easily accessible and from the ground level Tyler was basically going in blind trying to get it. He worked for close to an hour trying multiple strategies and didn't leave until the spider was dead. He also pointed out that the trees around our house are hanging over the roof and spiders can easily jump onto the house. He suggested we have them trimmed. My greatest fear realized...found a tiny baby mouse who clearly came in through a sliding screen door and hid in my laundry room under my machines. I opened the adjacent garage entry and garage door and sealed the laundry room door to the rest of the house, hoping he'd take my invitation to leave!
