Avid reviewer here I only tell the truth. Ordered take out for a personal pizza and Ferazzoli chicken with pasta. The reviews made it seem like this place has the best pizza on the planet. I was disappointed once I took my first bite, nothing crazy it was ordinary slice of pizza. I expected better but fine. The chicken was pretty good very tasty lots of sauce. I had mixed feelings going here. I went when they first opened and wasn't impressed at all. My son recently said their buffalo chicken pie was "awesome". Ok, so I gave in and ordered from there. Got a Buffalo Chicken pie, a chicken tenders and fries pie and two orders of buffalo wings. Let's start with the easy review. My son is right; the buffalo chicken pie is definitely on point. Make sure you ask them to put the ranch on top. Their buffalo pie is a solid 8.6 in my books. The chicken fingers and fries pie. I wanted the Mac and cheese pie but got vetoed by my wife and we went with the chicken tenders and fries pie. EXTREMELY dry. Chicken was dry, fries were dry, no sauce (that I could tell). It needed something. Whether be brown gravy on top or pizza sauce like I thought I read it came with, it needed something to moisten this up. I honestly went through 3 cans of soda to get through this pizza. This pie is a 6.2 in my opinion. With that said..... both pies had VERY good crusts. Not too thick and very tasty. The buffalo wings. I'm open minded. My buddy and I have been reviewing various places that do JUST wings. With that said, we've been having some pretty high level wings. So I kept that in mind. They were good for pizza place wings. Here's where I'm confused. 2 orders of wings and neither order came with any blue cheese or ranch. How can that be?? Do I have to ask for it and I just didn't know?? They gave us celery and carrot strips. What were we supposed to dip them or the chicken in? Very disappointing. Overall, 1 buffalo chicken pie, 1 chicken tender and fries pie, 20 wings and a small bag of fries came to $72. A little steep. Those that know me know I have no problems paying if it's worth it. Usually I set the bar of a pizza place by its cheese, margherita or grandma's pie. I went a little exotic here. I opted not to to do a video review before we even picked it up. When I get around to trying the foundation cheese pie, then I can get a true feel of this place. All around rating is a 7.0. I hate giving round numbers but I hate to go in the 6s quite yet and not comfortable going into the 7s. read more

We tried their pizza when they first opened years ago and it was ok, not great but ok and we hadn't ordered from them since. Our daughter recently told us that we have to try their entrees. We ordered linguini & clam sauce, a house salad and a margherita pizza. The linguini & clam sauce may have been the best we've ever had with generous portions of clam throughout the pasta and topped with four whole clams. Delicious! The house salad came with crisp lettuce, and plenty of fresh cut carrots and cherry tomatoes. The margherita pizza was thin, crisp and topped with fresh mozzarella. Went there for lunch and for about the 10th time the pizza was NOT heated up properly up and the pizza was still cold by the crust. While this place does make good pizza, it is only good when it's hot, and NOT when the kitchen staff is too incompetent to reheat slices properly. read more

I'm a big fan of Ferazzoli's in Rutherford and was confident their newest outpost would also be making seriously good food. One interesting thing even my kids noticed with their pizza: the sauce actually tastes more like marinara for pasta than your classic pizza sauce. (Not complaining at all... just observing.) And just a heads up: this is a takeout joint only. Yeah, they have a few tables outside on the sidestreet for when the weather's decent but that's it. (It's probably for the better that you get your food to go since the 'romantic view' would be the cemetery across the street which might only impress that goth kid in your town.) I've been ordering from here for quite some time and I must say it's good fricken pizza. Today I decided to check it out in person and I've gotta say my visit was beyond expectation. The staff is so friendly and pleasant. You get a welcoming vibe. Max definitely stood out and was very attentive. He got my food out quick while maintaining a lovely chat. I placed an order through GrubHub at 4:26 and it still had not arrived by 4:45p. I called the restaurant. The girl who answered said the driver left 10 minutes ago. I told her that it's been an hour and a half. She said "well, you live far so it takes a while." I told her that the GrubHub app says delivery is 45-55 minutes. Had I known it would take over an hour an a half, I would have chosen another restaurant. She said GrubHub just puts those time frames in without consulting with the restaurant. I though that There is no way this could be true. The food took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive. It was incorrect. Two items were missing. I called GrubHub to complain about the lateness and the missing items. GrubHub did indeed confirm that they DO consult with the restaurants before placing estimated time frames on their website. So, the girl lied..as I had expected. The Food was very good. It's a shame there were so many issues with this experience. We will never order from this restaurant again. Had there not been so many issues, including one of their employees blatantly lying to us, we would've definitely ordered again. read more

Shocked by the bad reviews on here! We order from here all the time (off the regular menu and the catering menu) and we've never been disappointed! Some of our favorite entrees are the chicken Ferazzoli and chicken salandra. We've had so many sandwiches (all great especially the Viking sub) and the calzones are amazing! Best pizza crust in the area. I will admit that things here are slightly overpriced compared to other pizza spots in the area but you won't find options like this at regular pizza place, so it's worth it! Also sometimes the only reason we order from here is because we know we'll get it quick! Even on busy days they're super fast. read more

We ordered ONE pizza at 6:34pm. Our estimated delivery time changed three times. Once we passed the latest delivery time (8:18) I called the restaurant to ask where our order was. They told me it was on its way. Twenty minutes later, still no pizza. Called again and was told again it was on its way. Fifteen minutes later, finally got the owner on the phone who admitted the pizza was still AT THE RESTAURANT and hadn't left yet. I understand things get backed up, especially on a Friday but what I wont tolerate is being lied to three times. We told them to forget it and cancel it, because it hadn't even left yet. Guess what? Twenty minutes later the pizza shows up at my house. Are you kidding me? Three hours later for one pizza from a place a half a mile from my house. I refused it, and the gift card they tried to give me. Will never order from here again. And from other reviews I have read, this isn't the first time they have lied to their customers or taken an absurd amount of time to deliver an order. Unbelievable. read more

By far one of the best Italian restaurants around and their sandwiches are amazing. My only issue is that the past few times we have had pizza delivered the delivery guy didn't have the pizza in the pizza bag and it was freezing out and our pizza was ice cold. Not a big deal to my wife and I because I just put it in the oven for a few minutes but my mother is picky and doesn't like reheated food. But other then that the food is amazing. read more

I didn't want to give a review like this because my first visit to this pizzeria when they first opened was outstanding. About 5 pm I was dying for a slice of pizza so I went over to Ferrazzolis. I ordered a plain slice. When I got home, a 2 minute drive, I unpacked it, it was cold and stiff. The cheese was congealed and sparse. I took a bite and it had no taste. I wrapped it up again and drove back to the place. I took out the pizza slice and explained the problem to the girl. She offered to heat it up. Ummmm NO! Placed an order at 11:30am on grub hub and its now 1pm and they just got here... I called at 12:30 and was told that the driver just left. Then i get a call at 12:45 from apparently the driver saying they are coming that they are in traffic.. bs.. i live 1.5 miles away from this place.. i ordered cold sandwiches which don't take long to prepare... If u are hungry don't bother with this place you'll starve to death before you get your food. Never again will i order from here.. terrible read more

This was the most unfortunate take out pizza order ever. I tried it since it was recommended. I felt the food was very overpriced. The pizza was unpleasant in ways I cant describe ....like a frozen pizza would have tasted better. The cheese on the pizza didn't look completely melted....almost looked like someone took shredded cheese from the bag and dumped it on, half cooked it, let it sit on a counter top for an hour and then tried to reheat it. The sauce tasted worse than jarred sauce. I feel violated. If only brunos did not put me on hold for too long I wouldn't have had to learn this unnecessary lesson. Im also baffled by the reviews. This is, no offense, no doubt, the worst pizza I've ever had. I threw it all in the garbage. read more

This place is for kids and seniors with no tastebuds. The sauce is plain as day, no flavor, just downright bland. Dough sometimes tastes stale or sour and it's just basic tasteless pizza. It tastes like cheap ingredients. No flavor, nothing to really distinguish itself from the others in town. I guess it's made for the senior crowd in the neighborhood and the young high school kids, since it's more of a hang out then pizzeria.
