But it still was worth it, I've been looking for one for at least 4 years and couldn't find one to my liking, and this was the perfect design. The reason I gave them 4 starts instead of 5 (aside from not making it obvious that you can negotiate) is that they add massive fees, so that after all was said and done, between delivery, fees, tax and tip (compulsory) it cost me a whopping $200 extra-- and the price of the headboard was only $350 to start out with!!! So just add $200 to whatever the price of the item you like is, so you won't be surprised. It'll be more if you're shipping from further away, or the items are from a high-tax state, but unless it's super- cheap and in your nabe-- or has free shipping-- it probably won't be a whole lot less

When we're sold the sinks they were a beautiful white "solid surface." This is what they describe it as...Krion™ is the solid surface from Porcelanosa Group, a solid, hygienic, non-porous and homogeneous material, composed of two parts aluminium hydroxide powder and one part high quality acrylic resin, in addition to exclusive additives developed by our R&D department. If it is solid why is it stained from hard water after only A few years, why are there cracks at the bottom and the water seeps down into the vanity? When we reached out they said "the warrantee" has run out and there is nothing we can do. It feels like false advertising with and exuberant price. We have called and sent emails and nobody wants to address is. See the pictures for yourself...disgusting. We spent between $40-50k, is this what Porcelanosa stands for? Low quality? Mediocre?

Beautiful show rooms and design ideas. I fell in love with a few slabs of quartz but reality is we came here to replace one of our sinks. A few people had suggested to come here and I'm so happy we did because upon our first visit we had the most amazing customer service and they helped us get exactly what we needed. Mind you it was a very particular color for a dated space so I'm so happy we came here and they helped us pinpoint it exactly. Prices are very fair. Would highly recommend to anyone. I was so grateful to learn of Imperial because they had the stone I wanted and the quality was far superior than any other marble I could find in the tristate area. The quality far exceeded my expectations. They installed marble slabs on my shower walls, and a mitered shower curb and vanity countertop. The job is beyond pristine and I couldn't be happier! The company who will be installing our frameless shower doors couldn't get over the gorgeous job and mitered corners...and he certainly sees a ton of bathrooms!! Imperial is committed to ensuring you are happy with everything and their customer service is bar none! My parents will be using Imperial for their bathroom and I'll be coming back for more marble for my master bath, which is currently in progress! Thanks again, Hershey, and everyone at Imperial for an outstanding experience! A+++++!

Alcraft, however, really was a world of difference.. We really didn't understand the benefits that having a kitchen designer, with decades of experience. When we met with Bruce at Alcraft, we had already spoken to several cabinet sales people/designers. From the first meeting we could tell that Alcraft was not like other providers. Bruce thought of logistical details right away that neither other designers nor ourselves considered and turned out to be very important. As one example, we planned to have a pot-filler not far from an upper cabinet, and Alcraft immediately explained that most pot fillers would end up hitting the cabinet, given the mechanics of how they fold. Bruce gave us some workable options and even drove with us to look at pot-fillers that fit without having to change the layout or redo the plumbing. Also, given that we had already contracted with an installer prior to meeting Alcraft, we assumed that Alcraft would simply design the kitchen and sell us the cabinets. But Bruce and Jill visited our site to insure continuity. They came to our apartment for the delivery of the kitchen as well as during and after the installation process. Alcraft cares about the service delivery quality. Kountry Kraft quality and craftsmanship is readily apparent. Alcraft's experience and overall thoughtfulness on the project was all the difference for us. They helped us think through how we would navigate and utilize the kitchen in order to design the most utilitarian (and beautiful) kitchen space. They were truly committed to the project: promptly responded to all exchanges whether it be by phone or email. I associate their work and expertise with a time when people cared about getting everything -- a kind of perfectionism that surpasses client expectations. Alcraft truly approaches a kitchen as built-to-last and have that in mind throughout the entire process. We tell everyone we know about them. They were a delight to work with.

I found Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath when searching…read moreonline for nearby places I could visit to compare prices to a quote I had already received from elsewhere. After reading the reviews, I figured this would be a good place to comparison shop. Best decision I could have made!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was an amazing business. Everyone was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Another very important point for me was that there was absolutely no sales pressure. That's a HUGE plus! Long story short, I had received a quote for over $46,000.00 for the cabinets I wanted. This quote did not include any extras like pull out tray/drawers, lazy susans, utensil cabinets next to stove, etc. The price I ended up paying for all of the same cabinets from the original quote from the other guy plus additional cabinets, special pieces, drawer pulls, lazy susan/utensil drawer/pull out trays/drawers, etc. was just under $21,000.00!!! This price was for the exact same manufacturer (Fabuwood) and same exact color as quoted by the other guy...That's a $25,000.00 difference! (If my actual cost seems like a lot please note I got an insane amount of cabinets/pantries, etc.) Also, I don't know how I was so fortunate as to work extensively with Furkhan, but he was incredible throughout the entire renovation process! Despite the fact that I knew what I wanted for our renovations, I knew nothing about the actual process/details. Furkhan was pretty much available 24/7 and spent an endless amount of time with me going over every detail, making sure I didn't miss anything I might need, and answering my never ending questions. He took the time to learn exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to ensure the desired results! He also came up with ideas that seemed minor but ultimately made the difference between me really liking my kitchen to absolutely loving it!!! (I still just look at the kitchen when I walk in and smile at the results). Another huge plus was that he worked seamlessly with my contractor and everyone else involved in the project (plumber, appliance place, etc.) to ensure the smooth flow of every aspect of the project. Even when I had a small problem with an outside vendor, he took care of it for me and made sure it was resolved immediately. He kept on top of everything going on and kept me updated accordingly. I cannot possibly thank Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath enough for all their hard work. Everyone who has walked into our house cannot stop talking about how beautiful it is and about the quality of the work! And I can never thank Furkhan enough for his insights and suggestions and handling the project with such professionalism as well as following up on every detail to ensure the incredible results we achieved! This is by far the longest review I have ever written. But they are by far one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with so I have to share this information!

There work was careful, extraordinary, fast and beyond reasonably priced. They not only made us a great counter and backsplash they installed it with ease. The difficulty of our space is there isn't a flat or straight wall in our 1929 apartment. These guys cut a piece of stone perfectly for us. We had a deeply disappointing experience with Artistic Stone and, based on that experience, cannot…read morerecommend them. We hired Artistic Stone to replace our kitchen countertops and fireplace hearth with quartz and chose to extend the quartz up the kitchen walls for a seamless backsplash. To prepare, we removed our existing white subway tile. Although our installation was already delayed due to an "installer emergency," the situation worsened on installation day. Three of the four pieces arrived cut incorrectly, leaving large, noticeable gaps around the fireplace and along the kitchen walls. The installers attempted to persuade us to accept the pieces as they were, which was unacceptable given the cost of the project. After they contacted their team, they attributed the mistakes to their templating software and accepted no responsibility. That same day--for the very first time--we were informed that our cabinet trim would have to be removed for the quartz backsplash to be installed, as they were unwilling to cut around it. This had not been mentioned at any point during six weeks of communication or even during the in‑home templating appointment just a week and a half earlier. Because removing the trim risked damaging our cabinets (which were glued and screwed together), we had no choice but to abandon the quartz backsplash plan entirely and reinstall subway tile--bringing us back to our original setup at roughly twice the cost, which we had to arrange ourselves. When we attempted to speak to the owner about these issues, we were told he was "off the grid." When he eventually called from a blocked number, he did not provide his name. When we requested compensation for the incorrect cuts, delays, and added expenses, we were told they were already "eating the cost" of recutting the pieces--even though the mistakes were theirs alone. After several days of back‑and‑forth, the only concession offered was a minimal discount of a few hundred dollars, despite our paying nearly $13,000. We were initially told the process from templating to installation would take 4-6 business days. Instead, it extended beyond two weeks, and we were forced to move into our new home with no backsplash, no sink, and no functioning cooktop. In our opinion, Artistic Stone was disorganized, unprofessional, and unwilling to take responsibility for their errors. Communication was poor, the mistakes were substantial, and the resolution offered was inadequate. We do not take leaving a negative review lightly, but given the significant investment of time, money, and stress involved, we feel it is necessary to share our experience.
