Typical dealership. I had researched and shopped for a vehicle across the country. I had found the vehicle I wanted in Florida, but decided to give Ferguson a try, because they're local. I told them exactly what I had lined up in Florida and told them I'd give them $18K + my truck for their new truck if you can do it great, if not just let me know and I'll go get the other one in Florida. The salesman came back trying to convince me that my trade wasn't worth that much and the other dealership would probably lower their offer. He said my truck had transmission slips and they had called the other dealership, that I had an offer from, to discuss their offer but hadn't heard back yet. I laughed and said OK as I prepared to leave. I reiterated, $18K + my truck for their new truck, if you can't do it just tell me. He said hold on I'm working hard for you and left again. Finally they agreed and the deal was made. what should have taken 45 minutes took three and a half hours. THEN while I was collecting my personal belongings, I told them I would bring them the extra key, and retrieve my ball hitch receiver keeper that was locked on the truck. I also asked them to remove my lock lugs so I could get them upon my return. When I returned I went to return the key and collect my belongings. They hadn't removed the lock lugs and told me I'd have to pay $50 to get them. read more

We've been to several dealerships over the years, and even recently, and most of the experiences have honestly been terrible--from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave with a vehicle. Our experience today at Ferguson Buick GMC in Norman was completely different. This was one of the best dealership experiences we've ever had. Everything was smooth, easy, and relaxed. At no point did we feel pressured to do this or buy that. We went in to look at a specific vehicle and they actually let us look at it, take it for a drive, and decide for ourselves without trying to push us into something we didn't want. The whole process was great. We were in and out, the pricing was very fair, and the finance process was just as smooth. If you're in the Norman or South OKC area and looking for a vehicle, I highly recommend going to see Brandon at Ferguson Buick GMC. He's a blue-collar oilfield guy at heart and understands how most blue-collar folks want the car-buying experience to be--straightforward and honest. I've been trying to buy a Ram diesel lately and have been to several dealerships, and the experience at most of them has been terrible. Sales dept is OK. Service Department has more work than they can handle and does not care 1 bit for the customer, no matter how much they spent on a new vehicle with less than 6000 miles. I traded and bought 2 pick-ups at Ferguson over the last 2 years. I feel like the trade and sales price were fair and the sales department was ok, although they groveled for a perfect review so they could get their bonus money; wether they deserved a perfect review or not. THEN THE PROBLEMS STARTED. With less than 6000 miles on my GMC 3/4 ton with the Ultimate Denali package (not cheap), I got a check engine light and some hint of electrical troubles. Called Ferguson service for help. The rude service lady said I would have to leave the truck for at least 4 days and hopefully they could get to it after 4 days. I asked if I could make an appointment and bring it in 4 days, or whenever they would have time for me, because at the time the truck was drivable. Her answer was " no that's not how things are done by Ferguson, or any service department". I told her that I didn't believe that and would check around, and then she was very rude. Well later that day the vehicle quit running completely and I was forced to tow it to John Holt in Chickasha. They were amazing and had the problem fixed in less than 2 hrs and had me back on the road (it was a bad transmission sensor). Won't be back to Ferguson. read more

I've bought two vehicles from Ferguson since 2019, and my wife has complained about their service department every time. I always brushed it off--until today. I showed up for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, waited about 10 minutes before anyone even greeted me, and was told it would take about an hour. One hour and forty-five minutes later, I walked around to the front and found my truck just sitting there, clearly finished. No call, no text, nothing. When I asked the service advisor why I wasn't notified, he shrugged and said, "I can't change the past." Then he told me the truck "isn't done" until the paperwork is finished--apparently, in their world, the vehicle being ready to drive doesn't count. If communication, respect for your time, and basic customer service matter to you, don't make your purchase at Ferguson GMC. read more

I gave a 1 Star because they don't have negatives. Avoid these guys like the plague. My son (a firefighter first responder) bought a $41,000 truck and in 4 months has had to have the radiator replaced (over $1,900), had to replace the oil pan gasket, crank case seal and has an engine code repaired under warranty. I went in with him to discuss why the $1900 Radiator was not covered and talked with Bobby Nichols (Parts Manager and acting Service Manager). WHAT HE TOLD US WAS SURPRISING. 1. I asked how the truck could have gone through the presale inspection and Ferguson not find these things and fix them before the sale? Bobby's answer was that the "the used car department is just another customer and just because they find 10 things wrong, they might only fix 5 or 6 of them or they might fix all of them, but it is their decision." Bobby confirmed that they do NOT always fix the problems they find!! I sounded like if they don't fix all of them then they will only fix it IF you find the problem. You might ask your salesman what known defects are in the used "Certified Preowned" car that has not been fixed. Demand the inspection report before you buy anything from them. I guess in these cases Certified Preowned means they certify someone else owned the car before you. In the case of my son's radiator, it meant that when the radiator broke, he could keep both halves and nothing else. 2. When my son originally called to talk to the service manager to get the truck in, he was told to bring it in, and they would get right on it. He dropped it off that day. Weeks later Bobby Nichols helped get it done (thank you Bobby for that help). However, when I complained about it sitting for weeks unfixed, Bobby again surprised me with his response. He said "Look I have 6.2 engines blowing up all over the place and I have cars that have been sitting out back for over 3 months. If you didn't like the wait, you could have taken it somewhere else!" Boddy, it is hard to get warranty work done from "somewhere else". So much for service after the sale!! 3. I told Bobby I was going to provide negative feedback on the review sites. Bobby's response was typical. He said "I don't respond to threats, and I don't care about the LALA land of the internet." Bobby, maybe you "Don't Care" but a lot of us do read reviews. To all of you in the LALA Land of the internet, you might want to buy a car from a dealership which doesn't have "6.2 engines blowing up all over the place" or you might end up with a "Certified Used car with potential issues they didn't fix" put out back with the cars which have been "waiting over 3 months". feb 10 i pick up a 2017 yukon on feb 23 was back at the dealer for a bad transmissio. Well as of march 21 still waiting for them to fix it since it didnt make the 30 day warranty they want to wait tell after that so the insurance will cover it and they dont have to pay for it out of pocke. absolutely garbage! They did a transmission replacement for me and now it makes a noise after starting the Yukon. Take in it to have them look at it because of the warranty is only for their shop, then they say they cant hear it until after about a week they then heard it and said it only happened once. EVERY TIME YOU START THE VEHICLE IT MAKE THE NOISE, EVERY TIME! They then let it set for another week and did nothing to fix it or to do the oil change like I had asked. I told my son truck shopping today, and one of the place's that we went by was Ferguson used vehicles, at 1015 N Interstate Dr. I salesman was Rocki. We love the truck,However we wanted to look at one more truck at a different location. When we went back, to the Ferguson dealership,the truck that we originally looked at was , placed on hold by another sale man. But they told us "that if gentleman did not come from out of town to get the vehicle, then they would be willing to go down on the price that we originally was told on the sticker". We waited for the timeframe at the gentleman said that he was coming and he did come and we were sad, but we had such an excellent customer service experience with Ferguson and you cannot say that about to many car dealerships out there. The manager came in the office and said that he had promised the gentleman that he will put the vehicle on hold for him and he was a man of his word . that's why Ferguson has my respect great customer service a dealership of their word, even though we were unsuccessful in buying a vehicle from them. I took in one of their coupons for an air conditioner check up for $49 and was told that it was going to cost $200 for them to do it. When they ran their diagnostics I was told that there was a weld that was leaking on the compressor ($1200+) and I needed new Oil cooler hoses as well ($500+). I told them that I'd be in to pick it up later in the day and was informed that I would need to pay the $200, rather than the $49 from the coupon. Hooking my truck up to their computers costs $200!!! It took them less than an hour to make an assessment of the problem! $200 !?!?!? to do NOTHING but hook up the computer analytics! This unfortunately has not been the first time I've dealt with their upselling, but it will be the last. read more

Stay away from their service department. Service department is shady. $500 to replace a $40 part in 30 minutes. This is also a part I already replaced, when I asked for more information, about my car and why they decided that was the issue, I was only told to trust them they have 30 years experience. At least explain why the one I installed didn't work and why it needed to be re-replaced. Mechanics may be great, but service coordinators are not. I hate car shopping, every time I step onto a car lot I cringe! Right before I came to Ferguson, I had just A bad experience with the salesman and another dealership. When I walked onto Ferguson's lot, a black guy by the name of Sean approached me very kind, friendly and laid-back. He didn't try to coerce me in anyway, but gave me space and allowed me to look, handy at any moment I had a question. I wound up and bought a Buick enclave and love it. It's the most comfortable vehicle I've been in. It was very quiet on the inside and I'd highly recommend it! My wife and I had a tremendous experience with a lady in finance named Julie . (Yep, finance is not generally the place you have a good experience in at a car dealership, but she was a very sweet Christian lady that treated us like family and we trusted her, and told her so! My car was in the Ferguson Buick shop for about two months for non-collision service. During that time, Ferguson reported they resurfaced rotors and installed new pads on the rear brakes; and also replaced the air conditioning compressor, seals and receiver dryer. The charge for these two items was a little more than $2,000. Until some five months later after winter weather had passed, the air conditioner's ability to cool could not be properly tested. When it was tested on a warm day, it was discovered the unit was not cooling at all. In addition, the rear brakes had begun making noise, so I took the car to another dealer. That dealer reported to me the rear brakes' hardware was worn out, so the pads needed replacement and the rotors turned. They informed me they believed that the rotors had not been replaced for a considerable amount of time. They also stated the air conditioner compressor needed to be replaced and that it, too, seemed to have been on the car for a long time. Ferguson said they did the reported work. But independent evaluation by a disinterested third party seems in conflict with that representation. Because of the above events and several other significant reasons, I have a very bad opinion of Ferguson Buick. They have absolutely no credibility with me, and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Complete failure on trusting these people for a quality used car purchase. Tommy, the salesman that we worked with rushed through the process and we mistakenly, thought he was being professional. My husband explained that he was a stage 4 cancer patient and this was likely the last purchase we'd be making for a reliable vehicle, to ensure we could make all hospital and clinic visits that he needs. The Jeep we purchased, we were assured, could be returned within 30 days, no questions asked, as they were the only dealership that did this . We had a false sense of confidence. A week later, my husband noticed a oil smell from under the hood. He returned to Ferguson, only to be told they really didn't follow that "warrenty" and he would have to go to the Jeep dealership to get a diagnostic. Too late we also learned we should have asked for a used car inspection report before the final decision to purchase. Now, after making 1 payment, we know that approximately 6000.00 in repais are needed to make it a reliable car. Repeatedly, we have reached out to Ferguson, the original salesman Tommy, and their service department to see if anything, like a split in repair costs or a trade could be considered. They have responded basically, sorry about your bad luck. We're not youngsters and have known that opportunist people are everywhere. In hindsight, I can see different aspects we should have considered. Hopefully this review will give future patrons a perspective before they decide to trust the "Ferguson Family ". The commercials are entertaining but from our experience, it was really just a circus we ended up with. Buyer beware! read more

After shopping at other dealerships for two days I saw a truck on auto trader that was priced fairly. I did however have to fight tooth and nail to get to the advertised price. They use similar high pressure sales tactics to other dealerships, but what else is new. After navigating through all the BS, I ended up getting a 2024 GMC Elevation that I absolutely love. I ended paying less for a nicer truck. Other dealerships were showing me crap and telling me I couldn't even afford that. Finance made it work within my budget and I believe they tried their best to find me a good rate. If you want a good GMC, find a car at Ferguson on auto trader and write down the advertised internet price. This is a good price designed to draw you into the dealership. Stick to your guns and don't let them add ANYTHING to the internet price but TT&L, and a doc fee. You will walk out with a nice truck at a decent price. My salesman Art was great, but plan on being there for 4 hrs and leaving feeling like your brain got kicked in the nuts. If you have a trade, go get it appraised at other dealerships, even on a deal you don't really want, tell them you will pay full price for a car if they give you max value on your trade. Get this deal in writing, now take it anywhere you go and tell them you will take nothing less on the trade. It is a rough road but you will drive away in a great pickup at a reasonable price!! read more

Talked to someone before going about my sensor in my front grill. I told them I was told it needed recalibrated. Ferguson guy said, 30 minutes." Over an hour later, he checks on it. I'm told they have to pull the bumper off to see what it needs. 2 hours gone by that was supposed to be 30 minutes. They said I need to bring the car back. They told me nothing. I told them it needed recalibrated. That's poor customer service when a customer is told 30 minutes and an hour goes by with no one letting me know what's going on. It was 2 hours. We bought our truck from Ferguson, and it was a wonderful experience, and exactly the price as shown on their website down to the penny. The truck was $9000 cheaper (brand new!) from Ferguson than any dealership in our home town would sell it for! The salesperson, sales manager, and financial department stayed 2 hours past closing on a Saturday to make sure we were completely satisfied and happy with our purchase. They took the time to let us look, talk, drive, and research before we bought. We've been back for maintenance and they were amazing yet again in the service department. If I would have let the other reviews deter me from this place, I would have paid more and not been as happy. I try to keep in mind that most people who review are either really happy or extremely unhappy with their experience. As far as price and payments, we did buy extra coverage, which is what I am assuming other reviewers are saying when the payment is more than anticipated, but this is a work truck and we wanted every coverage option we could get. Husband got the truck of his dreams! But we have been less than impressed with the customer service since the purchase. We were told to bring it back for detailing, running board placement, and to fix a few scratches. The first time my husband took it in, they had no loaner car for him to get to work (although they stated they would two days before) so they placed the boards and told him to come back. The second time he came in they half way detailed it, kind of fixed the scratches stating they were deeper than we thought and to bring it back two days later. It is now the third time and they have canceled the appointment due to it being cold out even though they stated the buff job would have only taken 15 minutes. Hoping it gets better... read more

I phoned the service department at Ferguson Buick GMC and spoke with Richard Underhill. After explaining the situation, Richard did not hesitate. He told us to bring the car in at that time and they would take care of the oil change. Our car was serviced promptly. The entire service department staff was very professional, friendly, engaging, and helpful. Our appreciation to Richard for relieving our anxiety and being so accommodating to our traveling needs. We recommend purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Volvo of OKC, a small lot in Norman, formerly Mark Heitz (We miss you!) or any dealer other than Ferguson. Ferguson sold us an inferior vehicle at an inflated price, (due diligence folks-this place is NOT just good guys making good deals) and refused to follow through on promised after the sale service/repairs. I was recently told, "We can't make everyone happy." Confident your sales commission is not from repeat business. My son is a mechanic, tested my battery and voltage..everything was reading normal. I didn't need a battery...in fact the batter was never even checked. Talked back and forth during the week explaining due to work I could not come before Saturday. He kept asking questions about test driving and I explained we had test drove one before I was just wanting to negotiate a deal prior to getting there because I had a 3 1/2 hour drive. When arriving on Saturday they had changed the internet, raising the price $600. Plus added docking fee of which was not included on the internet or in the negotiation. I will start off by saying I love the car I purchased. It is after the purchase I'm very disappointed with. This is the first time I have purchased a car new or used where the dealership didn't detail or at least clean the vehicle before taking delivery of it. Typical bait and switch with pricing, if it seem too good to be true it is. After calling and getting information found out it was a "Demo" model and driven by the GM. Over three days I could not get exact information on miles and engine hours. Spoke to a busy salesman C that took down my information for a sight unseen trade in trade and never got numbers back from him nor the information I needed. I don't think he realizes he's text are on and would leave me on read. Called the next morning and spoke to a different salesman who found out the trade numbers, unfortunately the numbers was ridiculously low, like 8 thousand lower than KBB and their supposed NADA they use.
