I bought a very used Toyota from them for cash and have never received any paperwork from them. The car was not clean when I picked it up. I've also never been able to find out if it had been serviced prior to me getting it. I had called 7 to 8 times to get Information about those things and never got a call back. Today I talked to someone who said I should have the title and paperwork in another week or two. Never left a review until today. Would not recommend. Granted it was not a 75K car. Inquired about a used vehicle for sale online. After a short conversation and some extra photos I found out the truck had a transmission issue. A week passed and I called back and the salesperson let me know the price went up $5k. This dealership took in a vehicle on a trade then listed it on the site but when they found out they made a mistake with the trade-in they decided to pass the cost direct to the customer. Buyer Beware - Extremely Poor Follow-Through After the Sale We purchased a vehicle from Genesis of Norman on February 1, 2026, and our experience after the sale has been incredibly frustrating. As part of the agreement, we were owed a reimbursement. Since the purchase date, we have received nothing but repeated promises that "a check is on the way," yet no payment has been delivered. Communication has been inconsistent, and we have had to continuously follow up just to get the same empty response. At this point, it has been weeks with no resolution, no clear timeline, and no accountability. Once they have your money, customer service and follow-through appear to disappear. A dealership representing a luxury brand should operate with professionalism and integrity, and this situation has been the complete opposite. We are simply asking for the reimbursement that was agreed upon in our signed paperwork. If this is not resolved immediately, we will be forced to escalate further through formal complaints and other available channels. Buyers should be very cautious and get everything in writing and completed before leaving the dealership. read more

Typical dealership behavior--focused solely on making the sale. I purchased their courtesy 2023 GV70, which had less than 10,000 miles and was advertised as "LIKE NEW." Thinking it would be well-maintained, I arranged for it to be shipped to Kentucky. Upon arrival, the car had a low battery that died completely when I tried to start it to drive home. Turns out, the battery had been jumped improperly before it was replaced in Norman, leading to a blown fuse. I had to wait several days for my local Genesis dealership to order the fuse. After they installed it and started the car to charge the battery, radiator fluid began leaking from the engine. When I reached out to the original dealership, their attitude was essentially, "Oh well, not our problem." Now, I've owned this $39,000 car for two weeks, and it's still sitting at the dealership waiting for repairs. Although it's under warranty, they've made no effort to compensate me--not even offering to cover the cost of a rental car during this time. My attempts to contact the General Manager have gone unanswered, and the sales manager I spoke with didn't even apologize. He was the one who mentioned the battery had been replaced. To add insult to injury, my local dealership inspected the engine and said it looks more like one from a car with 30,000+ miles. Genesis Of Norman service. I bought my 2023 GV 70 from Genesis Of Norman. It's been about a year and a half. For my first service, the original owners of Genesis Of Norman were still the owners. The dealership now has new owners. I had an issue that required to go to the service department. I have never been treated so rudely in any business at any time. I was told each day for almost a week that the service writer (Matt) would call me regarding my warranty service. The long and short of it is, I finally reached him after at least 20 calls. The folks at Genesis corporate said, my problem would certainly be covered under the warranty, but final decision was with the dealer. They refused to cover it without even seeing the car. If you are looking for a dealership in Oklahoma, avoid Genesis Of Norman under any circumstance. This is of course, unless you want to be treated with complete disrespect and rudeness. read more

No Follow Up & Questionable Advertising Practices Warning On Thursday I made contact with this dealership regarding one of their used Genesis G80 cars. I filled out the KBB trade in value form on their website to find out what my trade was worth. I even sent them multiple pictures of my low mileage 2016 Z51 Corvette. Zoey the sales assistant was overjoyed and thanked me for all the info. She was sure her team would be interested in my trade. Being 5 hours away I wanted to establish a deal before I made the trip. Understanding it would require an in-person review of both cars. I was contacted by Tanner and all information was passed onto him later on Thursday. He in turn needed "Billie" to review the information and get back with me. My only contact with "Billie" was how nice he thought my car was and how much I wanted for my Corvette. I told him based on their web site evaluator what I wanted. All this happened on Thursday. By Friday at 1:14 pm I had not heard anything back, so I reached out to them. Tanner would explain that they were short staffed, and he would need to get back with "Billie" about it. It is now Monday 3/11/2024 at 1: 30 pm, and not a word from anyone. I should be appreciative of them for how this worked out. If this is how they do business, then I don't need to do business with them. Oh, did I mention that the mileage on the car I was interested in was listed in all advertisements at a substantially lower mileage (about 4,000 miles) than the actual mileage? Seems they used it as a service loaner for some time. Thanks for wasting my time. I hope this can serve as a warning to others regarding the way you do business. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP In October, I purchased a Jeep Sahara from this dealership. Before signing any paperwork, my husband and I asked if the charger for this vehicle would be included. We were promised by three employees, the manager, finance department, and the salesman, that the charger would be included with our purchase of the vehicle, but they did not have the charger in their possession at that time. After speaking with the manager and finance department SEVERAL times we were promised the charger would be there within a couple weeks and they would call us when they received it. After two weeks of no contact from the dealership, I began calling and leaving over 7 voicemails with no response at all. I even went into the dealership two times to ask about the charger. Both times I was told the same thing, they are in contact and the charger would be here in a few days. After two months since we had purchased the vehicle, my husband and I went into the dealership again. This time we spoke to a different manager who informed us that the company had let the previous manager and finance employee go. Because they were no longer employed by the company, they would no longer honor the promise of the charger because the manager who had promised the charger was fired. During our meeting with the current manager (Clint), we were met with only inconsiderate and unprofessional responses. After only several minutes of conversation, he was quick to pass us along to the finance department (who offered only a $10 discount on the $650 charger we will now have to purchase separately) without saying another word to us. To say the least, my husband and I are appalled by the way we were treated. Wether these employees had been fired or not, they were a representative of this company and that promise should have been more than upheld by new management. We will not be servicing any of our vehicles here, and definitely won't be purchasing another. I would recommend using the upmost caution if you do decide to purchase from this dealership. read more
