Going to start this off by saying that until recently, I had never had a bad experience at a Kia Service department. My experience started off at the other Kia dealer in Tulsa--Midtown (Highly advise staying away and instead bringing your car here to Ferguson). Midtown gave me the runaround for months, filled me with false promises, and sent me home time and time again saying everything was fine with my car. I had multiple misfires, and all they could do across three visits was sell me spark plugs, replace/swap coils, and then circle back to try to sell me spark plugs again (after just 7,000 miles). Ultimately, I was left with a dusty, bird-feces-covered car that had been parked and forgotten about. They claimed they couldn't replicate the issue--but somehow had no problem giving me a separate list of $1,500 worth of other recommended services. I'm not a car guru, but I learned more than I'd like to admit thanks to the lack of service Midtown Kia provided. Fed up and completely irritated by the disregard for the state of my vehicle, I came to Ferguson Kia--prepared for the worst. At that point, I had lost all faith in Kia. I am so thankful and happy with how Ferguson Kia handled my vehicle. I explained my experience with the other dealership--they listened, took note of what had already been checked, and acknowledged the issues I was still having. I'll be honest: they promised to take care of me and look into it, but at this point, I didn't believe them. However, Anthony, my service advisor, was amazing and professional (even with all my questions, doubts, and lost faith). They discovered a major issue with my engine, and he quickly got a replacement--100% covered thanks to Kia's 10-year/100,000-mile warranty. Called to get info and see a used vehicle I've been looking for that is HARD TO FIND. Surprisingly found one at Ferguson Kia. Car was supposed to have been pulled to the front when I arrived, wasn't. When the car was pulled around was handed the keys. Didn't know if I could drive it or if I needed to wait for him. He answered very few questions once the car was pulled around to the front. Was shown nothing on the car. He told me to check it out, asked if I wanted water, I said I did. Was told he would be right back. Seemed a bit too busy and bothered to spend any time with me at all. He never came back out to answer any questions...not one. I actually feel like he forgot about me being there. So I had to go LOOK FOR HIM. Thought possibly he could be with a customer or on the phone, nope. Waited in the waiting area until he saw me. Due to being so dismissed, and all though this car is hard to find and they actually had one, didn't change my mind and did cost them a sale. I will not do business with Ferguson Kia. Poor customer service. And I WILL be buying a vehicle just like this one...just not there. Too bad. read more

Took my 2009 Kia Rio5 in for repair. 2 weeks later I was told that the "engine wiring harness" was bad and discontinued and there was nothing they could do. Paid $200 for the diagnostic fee. Had another mechanic take a look. An O2 sensor, and an ignition coil later the car works like a charm. Disappointed with such poor diagnostics by the tech AND then had to pay for it. read more

I recently had an incident involving the service department at Ferguson Kia (Broken Arrow) that was very concerning to me. I purchased a Kia Sorrento from this dealership in May 2024. On a recent morning when I started the car, the check engine light came on, and the car was running roughly. I drove it a short distance, and it was clear that the problem was worsening. I returned home, expecting that I would have to tow the car to the dealership. When I called, the service advisor said it would be fine to tow the car to them, but that it would be 12-14 days before they could complete a diagnostic assessment and even start to fix the car. When I expressed alarm about being without my car for possibly 3 weeks, he stated that the Ferguson Kia service department has only five technicians and there were many others waiting in line in front of me. I ended up calling the Kia Midtown location and they were able to schedule an appointment within 48 hours. Previous service departments that I have worked with (Ford, Toyota, Nissan) would typically have a 24-48 hour wait time. It seems irresponsible for a dealership to sell more cars than they can service, especially in an urgent situation when the car is still within the warranty period. The service rep warned me that if the car were taken anywhere other than a Kia Dealership for repairs, my warranty would be invalid. A customer is trapped in this situation, with no good options. I had even purchased an extended warranty, hoping to have professional and reliable service. I would like to try to maintain my relationship with Ferguson Kia, and will be looking forward to seeing how they can address their service department timeline for repair work. read more

On Tuesday evening, I visited the dealership, expressing interest in purchasing a Kia Soul, having recently rented one for nine days following a car accident two weeks prior. As a former Honda and Toyota driver, I possess some knowledge of cars, largely due to my grandfather's expertise and my step-grandfather's experience as a mechanic at a Chrysler dealership in Bixby. While I was aware of Toyota and Honda's reputation for quality, and previously stated that to the sales associate when I arrived there. my positive experience with the rented Kia Soul prompted my interest in acquiring one. Upon arrival, however, some issues arose regarding my paystubs and insurance paperwork related to the lien on my previous vehicle, which I had purchased just a year ago. These issues necessitated a brief delay. On Friday, when I returned to finalize the purchase, I had been communicating with the dealership Manager, I think CJ and sales associate Daryon throughout the week regarding my paperwork. Friday, Daryon presented a vehicle that did not meet my color preferences, prompting me to inquire before proceeding with the test drive. which I really didn't need to test drive because I already had a rental from Hertz of a 2025 Kia soul so I knew how they drove. I told him that I would appreciate it if they could provide me with detailed pricing information, including the monthly payments. When I was initially quoted a price of almost $400 for a Kia, I did not agree to it and expressed my concerns to CJ, who I assume is a manager. However, he became defensive, leading me to decide to explore other options and leave. When I returned, a gentleman opened the door for me and asked if I needed help. I replied that I did but I specifically asked for his assistance he was a sales associate as well. Daryon, the sales associate who initially helped me on Tuesday and throughout this week. Came approaching the door, I informed the sales associate that I did not want the original associate's help, citing his unprofessional behavior and apparent lack of knowledge regarding typical sales associate responsibilities. also, I felt that he was not benefiting me as a customer and only wanted to make a sale. I assumed his behavior was due to inexperience and youth. However, Daryon reacted by approaching me very unprofessional and arrogant at the door and proceeding to CJ's office, where he informed me that I needed to leave, as they would no longer provide assistance. Stating, Earlier, that day, " I had been rude when deciding to leave and explore other car options," which likely contributed to this situation. An exchange of words ensued, during which he used profanity. I subsequently spoke with Hank, who failed to provide a satisfactory response or indicate any actions to address the situation at that moment. In my opinion, Daryon should have been immediately removed from the sales floor and terminated, as using profanity towards a potential customer is unacceptable and unprofessional. Furthermore, his behavior likely resulted in the loss of a potential sale. Later, I received a phone call from an unknown individual using my phone, addressing me with derogatory language, which I strongly believe was Daryon. I ultimately purchased my car through Kia Ferguson due to having a rental for nine days and, given my current circumstances, I had to make a swift decision without exploring further options, but I regret not having more time as I struggle to comprehend why these circumstances are deemed acceptable. Don't ever come here for repairs. They have a good waiting room and decent customer service, but they will hold it for days, even weeks. They couldn't even offer an estimate after holding it for 10 days. Afterwards they did offer a complimentary service, so they are owning up to it. There is a lot of work to be done in that shop though. I made an appointment for Monday Dec 30. They originally said that my "diagnostic" should take 1-3 days, but because they are recovering from being under-staffed it would actually take 3-5 days. They were polite and I was fine with it so I agreed to it. I asked for updates throughout the first week. The first Saturday I texted they didn't answer. For the SECOND WEEK; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, I checked in, it wasn't done, there were cars ahead of me. They said it should be looked at the beginning of the THIRD WEEK and I spoke to the manager for an explanation and he said that it was because he was down a tech. I'm sorry but if one tech calls off and the wait time has TRIPLED for APPOINTMENTS, then the staff should be reevaluated. Also, I asked for a rental twice and there was none available. They didn't even offer to help me cover for a third party rental or anything. I ended up taking it out of lineup and taking to Firestone and they did it in three hours. My Kia Stinger was taken in for a simple problem which was easily resolved by enabling a control switch inside the car. When I picked up the vehicle, it was unbelievably dirty- both outside and inside. The contents of the rear hatch compartment were massively displaced due to high turning forces. My hidden GPS tracker documented that my Kia Stinger was taken away from the dealership without my knowledge or consent, on an apparent "joy ride", at times exceeding posted highway speed limits. The service advisor admitted to the general manager that he and the service department manager had driven the car away from the dealership. No test drive was required for turning the switch back on. The misuse of my personal vehicle is unacceptable. I will never return to this dealership and have warned many to avoid these unprofessional people. The dealership has been reported to Kia corporate. This incident is currently under review. If one decides to take their car to Ferguson Kia for service or to purchase a new car from this dealership, my opinion is that you are taking an unnecessary risk. read more

I have been dealing with Ferguson regarding car repairs on a brand new vehicle purchased from them. They supposedly have a great warranty. After months, they think they may know what's going on, but have to wait longer for approval from Kia for repairs as they have to send it out. Meanwhile, I'm paying a car payment plus rental fees. Purchased a used Kia from them. They said certified pre owned, but couldn't fix a tire pressure sensor so they took away the certified. Asked if that would adjust a price they said no, I guess certified is actually worthless value by their admission. But I get a windshield warranty. I take it in for a windshield replacement that we scheduled @ 9:30; it's almost 3:00 PM and not only is it not done but they won't take my call even or return my call while I'm waiting on my vehicle. I'd urge anyone to avoid this place and especially their service department as they can't seem to accurately get a 2-3 hour job completed or worry about answering calls or getting back with customers when they have their vehicle. I just hope I get it back sometime soon and fixed to a satisfactory level. Avoid this place though. Find a different Kia dealership. read more

Called and spoke to Daniel in Service dept and was quoted 3 hours of labor at $180/hour. I scheduled the appointment because the other mechanic I was price comparing them to quoted 4 hours. Then I get a call a couple hours after dropping car off that it will be 6 hours for the 4 parts. 6?! At my request, they did a diagnostic and learned I only need 3 of the 4 parts repaired but that those 3 parts will take 5 hours. I texted to check in and learned that it really took them 2h15m hours of labor, but theyre charging us for 5. When I asked why I was told that it's a "menu price for labor" (which makes sense regarding labor being set at $180/hr but I doubt that means charging extra hours that the work didn't take.) This is not ethical. So I spoke to Mike the Service Manager and he was phenomenal! He honored the 3 hour rate for labor and even gave us a coupon for a free oil change next time. Then he went above and beyond to help answer other questions we had regarding other items that the courtesy inspection caught. He completed turned around a negative experience and we are so pleased. No service after the sale. I had a feeling it was going to be a bad experience by the lack of communication with in the company. I got a text the day after dropping my car off asking if I actually dropped it off or needed to reschedule. (no one checked my car in I guess) I had to send text and leave 4 voice mails to get a call back - a week later - at which point I was given information about the payment of my vehicle and told if I had purchased the extended warranty due to the factory being about 30k miles over. Turns out I did purchase it and they just simply didn't look. (More lack of detail, attention and communication) I was finally - 2 weeks later - contacted by the service lane manager (who i'm assuming was to busy to step in until now) who assured that they had been working on the claim and that she or another manager would call me back with updates. Unfortunately someone else called me back and honestly told me they couldn't do and to call the warranty company myself. WOW... I as the customer who was sold the warranty BY FERGUSON now need to do the job of a service adviser. This is a huge let down and honestly ever time I've been back has been a let down. I'm sure they are good people, I also know beyond the shadow of a doubt that there are much better dealers in the Tulsa metro area who want to take care of their customers and the community. He had everything ready for us when we arrived and he treated us like family! Both times they performed the free multI-point inspection and my Forté passed with flying colors but they couldn't tell me what was making that grinding noise on my front right tire without "further diagnostics" that would take a week. Just had my car in for service today for an oil change and some other items. Didn't buy the car here but service advisor Donovan was very nice to tell me not a problem and they would get it taken care of as soon as possible. Service Manager Charlie, came out to greet us and introduce us to their service department. He showed us the waiting room, the free water and snacks. Everyone was very nice and professional. Even got to meet Casey the Technician who did the work on our vehicle. He didn't try to upsell anything just told us what he had found and what we need to keep an eye on for future service. Run by liars and thieves. Bought a 2023 Sportage from them 3 months ago. It has spent nearly two of those 3 months collecting dust in the service department over a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Was lied to over and over. I have made two $550 ($1100) car payments and have barely been able to enjoy my new vehicle. My KIA app says my car has not even been started in the past 20 days (August 11 to August 31), but Kevin Lindsay the service manager says they have been running all sorts of tests? When challenged he cannot recall the tests and the technician that performed the tests is conveniently unavailable. What Kevin Lindsay, or the last service manager that started this nightmare (I forget his name), does not know is that I am formerly a KIA elite certified service advisor. The policy even 7 years ago was that any tech that touches a car must be punched in on it. Then the tech must log (in the greatest detail possible) anything he does or tests? Why? Why would they not just blow off procedure and go rogue? I will tell you BECAUSE EVERY EMPLOYED PERSON I HAVE EVER MET LIKES TO GET PAID FOR THIER JOB! That's right folks, if the tech does not log the work (even the troubleshooting) he does not get paid. According to Kevin Lindsay his techs work for free and do not follow KIA Certified Technician procedure. That is why he cannot pull up the work order (if there even is one) and see when, who, how and what has been done to my car. He must rely on these disappearing techs that are doing charity work and memorize all vehicles vin numbers, diagnostics, parts and repairs. Leaving poor Kevin Lindsay helpless against mean old customers that have the nerve to want to know what is going on with their very expensive brand new cars. No one else at the dealership seems to care either. "JUST SIGN HERE, GIVE US YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BOTHER US ANYMORE!" They should put that little slogan in their ads. It would be the first honest words that I have heard spoken on behalf of these crooks. ANYWAY! IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY OR SERVICE (UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DOING BOTH) A KIA RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE. They do not care about you or how much they take away from you and your family. We are just another number on the board to them. Beyond that we are on our own. I wish I had never met these horrible people. It took several visits and phone calls for them to even get my name right! No apologies for it. It is very sad that they have a general manager that is so unfriendly and I am sure we are not the first customers who feel like they have wasted 5 hours of their lives for nothing. We were able to make a purchase that night for the exact same car at a different dealership but it only had 15 miles on it. We purchased it for the advertised amount they told us with the payments being exactly where we needed them to be. Ferguson's car had almost 10K miles on it and the prices and amounts kept changing because they could not give us the advertised amount and low finance rate together, but they neglected to say that in the emails before setting up the appointment. My sister bought a car from Kia Ferguson two months ago. The car engine is consuming oil. The mechanic that has the car has verified there is no possible way this could be caused by her own error. This comment is in reference to the servicing department. Probably one of the most un-helpful group of people I've ever encountered. There is currently a recall on our vehicle, this recall has a risk of the engine catching on fire. After calling Kia I spoke to a man who basically said sorry we can't see you for a month. After explaining that I wasn't comfortable keeping a vehicle with this much risk around my home he down played the situation spitting out a bunch of mechanical terms that meant nothing to me. The man I spoke to was very rude and ended the call basically saying I'll see you in a month. We asked if we could have a rental during this time since this is our family vehicle, they were unwilling to do so. Glad to know a vehicle that can catch fire and potential harm people isn't hire in their list. I guess Kia's billion dollar law suit hasn't sparked any type of change in these people. Sean did greet us promptly. listen to our situation of having to replace one of our cars and what monthly payment we could afford, and was quick to suggest a Kia Forte. He was able to help guide the buying process by being knowledgeable on the selling points of Kia and the available cars he had in stock when we mentioned we didn't want a plain color and something that stuck out. Once we had decided on the vehicle they were great to work with being we didn't have the vehicle we traded in at the time. Sean and the manager Taylor let us describe the vehicle and still provided us with a quote on the value of our trade in. Dealing with financing was a breeze. Cody with the finance team took great care of us making sure we understood and the terms and conditions of the finance agreement and didn't mind us taking the time to review each page before signing the dotted lines. the best part was they didn't run our credit into the ground trying to get us approved. we were unsure of what deal we would get but was surprised at the financing without much of the hassle and stress of dealing with car financing that we had in previous vehicle purchases. ' Plus Sean and Cody personalities made it fun as both made the process easy going and laidback throughout not once pressuring us about buying that day as it was the last day of the month like other dealerships had done. when it was mentioned it was mentioned in an informative way as to Sean mentioned he was not sure of if they would be any changes in the price or rebates to us After visiting other dealerships in town we know for any future purchases we will come back to Ferguson without a doubt. read more

I tried multiple times to get ahold of someone who could give me status of my car and I either get a VM or someone who can not give me any information. I first took my car in to get fixed last sum.er. which is when they replaced the "main brain" for the A/C and heater. It was replaced but did not fix the problem. Car went back in for repair, and it was then that they found the issue with the wire harness. Kia could not provide me with a loaner until it was fixed so I went through half of the summer with no AC and all winter with no heater because I was told in October that the wire harness was still on back order with Kia and there was no ETA. I recently found out that the part had been there since November, but I was never contacted. This put my family and I in a very tight spot as we heavily rely on the use of two vehicles to get everyone where they need to be and on time. My car is currently in the process of being fixed but when i dropped my car off, i was told it would take "a day" to complete and its been there for 5 days now. Nobody there has even tried to make this right. I should at least get free oil changes now. Communication is awful! read more

I have a 2013 Kia with 86K miles on it covered by their "10 year/100,000 mile warranty". They've been giving me the run around for 9 days now saying the engine blew Bc of a recall on a part but they can't verify the warranty will be covering it. I trusted them with this when I purchased the car and now they won't hold their end of the deal. And they said they don't have any loaner vehicles available. My engine blew on June 20. Their first available appt to look at it was July 5 and they still haven't verified anything. Just a fair warning to those looking to purchase for the warranty. read more

DO NOT take your car here. I took my new van in for several warranty items. Four days later it was still not repaired and they had no idea when it would be. I asked for a courtesy car and they told me to pick my car up unrepaired. There were 5 warning lights including ABS, traction control, speed control and electronic steering control. The steering wheel shakes while driving and the brakes don't work properly, but they said it was safe. After another 7 days they still have no idea what is wrong or when it will be fixed. I have left messages for the service manager and general manager with no return calls or response. Don't waste your time with their incompetence. read more

Well, the Salesman was very nice and helpful. That is where the "good" part of our experience ended. We had to wait 45 minutes to see a "finance manager" to sign the papers. We waited patiently. We are in our 50's - we have purchased dozens of vehicles - Never ever had an experience like this. We were in the finance office for over an hour with him trying to sell us further protection on the car. We repeatedly declined. He just pressed harder. I mean really, how many times do we have to say No - 10, 12, 15? It was a horrible experience - and to be honest, we will not be back nor will our kids or other family members. read more

Have not purchased a car here but we have a used Kia. On more than one occasion when having our Kia services they have not made the repair correctly requiring us to bring it in again. Once they needed to order a part and after 3 weeks we called to see about the part - they told us they forgot to order the part. The LAST time we took it in for a repair on the suspension. After three days and not hearing anything from them we stopped to pick it up. They said that it didn't need the repair. It's bad enough that they kept it three days and don't tell us it needed repair but we had them out it on the rack and I showed them the problem. It needed repair! read more

I have had horrible experiences every time I have had to bring my new car in for service. My car is kept in their care for 2 months at a time. My car is damaged while in their care. My car is sent out for repair I didn't authorize, and currently is still in their shop since 09/15! only for me to go and pick it up and there be further damage to my right flood light that WAS NOT damaged upon drop off. I even have 2 estimates that reflect NO damage to the right flood light and a video of the flood light and I am being advised that I will be responsible for what they broke while in their care .. Another incident I brought my car in for the sunroof to be repaired as for some reason it was no longer staying on track. I got my vehicle back with grease smear all the way around the interior of my sunroof ... I had the very kind service guy Shane (who is no longer working there, not surprised) who took my car back and had them steam the grease finger tips out of the ceiling of the inside of my vehicle, all the way around. I am beyond frustrated. If it wasn't for my warranty I would never bring my car back to this service department. I currently still sit in a loaner because I need to speak to someone other then the diverting front line of people ... It sucks to be so taken advantage of as a single mom of three. I am currently waiting for a call back .. 11/08/2017 I have been contacted by the GM and he has been so kind to hear what has happened to me and has advised that he is going to take care of me in this situation. Zero. I bought a new car and the window shield had pitting in it. 3 months later and twice in the shop (When I picked it up the first time they said it was fixed - it wasn't.) Six days they had my car for a window replacement and drove my car over 60 miles before they finally fixed my window shield. They left it filthy and they didn't clean up their mess. The manager was no help, they weren't apologetic. (I had my windows tinted at another company and they agreed it was pitted.) They didn't call and said it was fixed, I had to keep calling them. I left my keys there and it had a "Ferguson" key card on it and they couldn't call. Finally called them 2 days later and they said yeah they had them. This is a horrible place and worst mistake was buying from this company. No customer service. Promised me a soul key chain and still waiting for that. read more

Never say never. I needed a new radiator and found myself conflicted about whether or not to take my chances with this business again. I called them on Monday 2-13-2017. After speaking to the service advisor Lee, who let me know upfront it would be Thursday before they could schedule an appointment. I set it up for 9:00AM. I arrived that morning at a few minutes after 8:00 only to be told my appointment time was 11:30. I thought "Oh boy, here we go again". To my surprise Lee said it's okay, lets go ahead a get you started. I explained my problem, filled out the necessary paperwork then sat down in the waiting area. After about 20 minutes Lee came in and confirmed that a new radiator was needed. He told me the cost. I actually thought it would more. I told him to go on and fix it and then, because it was going to take at least 4 hours I called the Mrs. to come and get me. When the car was ready Lee had their shuttle driver pick me up at no cost. The car is fixed perfect and Lee also fixed a recall problem that I didn't know about. Talk about going the extra mile.
