I went to Ferguson in Santa Monica to pick up two Delta faucets that I ordered through another store. Fidel was so helpful when I arrived for the pick up. They only had one faucet in stock, but he told me the other one would arrive tomorrow. He gave me all of the paperwork I needed to pick up the other faucet, and told me to come back after 10 AM. When I arrived the next day to pick up the other faucet, Fidel greeted me by name, and knew exactly what I was there for. He got me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Fidel was so knowledgeable and helpful. He made the experience so easy! read more

The plumbers left huge boxes filled with styrofoam and packing, without breaking them down and stuffed it in a recycling container, sticking up 5 ft out of the container. The city will never pick that up. Ferguson's plumbers are extremely inconsiderate. read more

worst.customer.service.ever. Signs are posted throughout the store informing customers to wear masks, yet the man who may be the most seasoned employee (judging by his age) doesn't even wear one. See the pic I took of him below, working maskless right smack in front of the "masks required" sign. LOL. In the other reviews, a rep from the store ("Molly" Magdalena Padillo) writes something like "masks are essential for safety and that they are doing everything to assure this," which is absolute BS because her message was written 4 months before I took that picture. Obviously they're not taking these reviews seriously because nothing has changed. They get one star for having the supplies I need and another because of a youngish Mexican-America employee, who is the only guy in the place who's friendly and helpful. Everybody else treats you like you're a major burden on them. They often don't even greet you if you approach the counter where they are too busy on their computers to acknowledge your presence. Worst Customer Service, ever! When I phoned to confirm my order was ready for pick-up-- I was instructed to "park on the street, there are meters and go to the kitchen showroom to pick up your order." Finding a parking spot on Broadway is almost impossible. Eventually found one, across & a ways down the street. When I went to the "kitchen showroom" I was told "I needed to go to the building next door. ..walk down the alley/driveway to the back." Did that (noticed there WAS customer parking behind the store!) & walked into the warehouse. I stood at the empty counter area for quite a long time while all the employees visited with each other and ignored me. Eventually I asked if I had to take a number. One of the men sitting at a register (who was clearly not doing anything) asked another at a register to help me. He announced that he was "off the clock". So Mr. Grumpy had to help me. He was clearly annoyed that I didn't have the order number immediately available & had to retrieve it from my phone. He told me he would get the item and put it in my car. I explained where I was parked. He told me the box weighed 20 pounds and asked if I could carry that. I said I would try. I followed him to another warehouse & he put the box in a shopping cart & angrily walked me to my car, placed it in the trunk & had me sign the paperwork. I thanked him, but he never replied & walked away in a huff. I should not have been treated as though I was invisible & with such disdain. I'm an interior designer and I will never shop at Ferguson again for my clients. The people at Snyder Diamond are friendly & their Will Call department is service oriented and happy to help. read more

After 30 hours of plumbing disasters at other supply houses maggi and his guys got a 75 gallon water heater in their truck and raced it to my plumbers at 7:30 am . 2 days of frustration was turned around in a 15 minute transaction. Next door is a parts pickup which wasn't clear at first, and next door has a door too but it's locked which they claim isn't a door but it is a door lol!! He was just in a long line of just so incompetantant staff and blunders that made is so getting just 1 toilet (in stock) took 1 month. Nightmare. Broken toilets twice, missing parts, wrong parts, not calling back, sending the order to be shipped to a non shipping warehouse...Never again....and I STILLLLL don't have the correct bolts to bolt the toilet down. read more

Don't even bother raising it to their corporate office... the same manager will call you back and try to gaslight you all over again. I started doing my kitchen remodel over a Month ago and was referred to Ferguson by a friend , when I walked in I was greeted by the front desk girl and they had Jacqueline assist me and take me to the showroom and show me all the products . I needed assistance in finding the right faucets and sinks for the kitchen and the bathrooms , She took her time with me looking through the catalogs and their site to get me the correct items . I have to say my experience with Jacqueline was amazing she took her time and patiently helped me throughout the entire process . Because I was involved in remodeling a couple of houses in the past few years I have been to several Ferguson locations in the LA area. They have all the hard to find items and knowledgeable employees when it comes to plumbing supplies. Recently I went to the Santa Monica location to get some parts and also looking for a special part for my shower faucet. Since it was a special order item I was sent to the inside sales office and spoke with Gerson Contreras, one of the employees there. Of course I had failed to right down the brand or model number of the faucet and he asked me to get him that information so he could look it up. While I was picking up the other supplies I needed, Gerson had found the item I needed by looking it up by pictures rather than brands or model numbers. This is going above and beyond what any employee would do and I thought I would share and show my appreciation to Gerson. read more

The sales woman stated," You aren't our clientele," and told him he wasn't welcomed. I want to share a positive experience that I had at Furguson's Plumbing snd Supply in Santa Monica. This positive experience was due to an exceptional employee whose name is Omar. Omar was knowledgeable, positive, and hard working. I needed a lot of help ordering a full collection of bathroom faucets, valves, etc. I had many questions and concerns. I had very little knowledge of what I needed. Omar turned a near unmanageable situation into a positive one for me. I cannot thank him enough. read more

Once we decided on the particular Toto toilet model that we wanted, we learned that everybody from Home Depot to Ferguson charges the same price to the penny for it. Home Depot, however, promised delivery to a store for customer pickup - two weeks hence. So I ordered it from Ferguson for home delivery in four days. Great! Then things went South. The expected delivery date came and went with no word from Ferguson. I called and was repeatedly put on hold and the call dropped. I finally got a dispatcher in Virginia named Brenda Felix, an angel in an otherwise discouraging process. Over and over sales agents dropped me and made delivery promises which were not kept. Finally the toilets we ordered were delivered, and a day later, a delivery truck arrived with a redundant delivery. Your know, if you order something for delivery from IKEA or BestBuy, they hold your hand every step of the way. Gee, Ferguson, would you consider upping your customer service game? read more

You know that stereotypical story of a woman going to a car dealership, and the male salesperson being patronizing and keeping things "stupid" for a little ol' woman? This place is just like that. I went in with an unusual problem for a drain from the prior owner, and after a couple of non-solutions from the 2 floor people, I get a "call a plumber, we can give you references". And even after I asked about parts (I'm not an idiot, it's plumbing, not surgery, which I have done before, btw), and education about what's needed, all I get again is "call a plumber". Then another male, who was saying things without even knowing what I was looking for, gives me the 'sorry, you're SOOL' look. That's it? If I could give them no stars, I would. And to think, I wanted to go into their showroom to look for possibilities for the future. What horrible service! Think I should write to corporate? Cause I would! read more
