I purchased one of the freezer packages from them. We were shorted the ribeyes that were supposed to be included. When we called and let them know, we were told to check again. They were sure they were included. They were not and I was then told that they didn't want to cut $150 worth of steaks. I paid over $600 for the package. They did not take responsibility for their mistake and wanted to accuse me of trying to steal something that I paid for. Terrible customer service and dishonest business. read more

Today, I also bought local GA watermelon! Friendly staff and a small place where you can pop in grab items without walking a football field! Great butcher shop-- Super friendly and helpful Staff. All showed an interest in helping - Andrew took time to explain things I had on my mind as we just went from Plant Based to adding meats. I found cuts and meats that are typically hard to find all at great prices. They have fresh produce and a great Deli and wonderful breads/buns .... Tons of choices of seasonings and sell Green Eggs and grilling accessories. One stop shopping for that discerning carnivores. :-). Our go to store from now on. Hot Lunches also available: I was recommended by a coworker who said they have the best lunches around with your choice of a delicious rib, occasionally a delicious brisket, tender seasoned chicken, or pulled pork just to name a few (the main proteins change from time to time based on my visits) and you can't go wrong with any of them! Your side choices vary from mac 'n cheese, sautéed vegetables (my favorite), okra, etc. Always accompanied with a fresh slice of cornbread. Pretty good bbq I must say. They catered a company party for me yesterday, it was great! I liked the assortment of food they provided: Mac n Cheese Baked Beans Coleslaw Potato Salad Bratwurst Steak Ribs Chicken Burgers Watermelon Sweet Tea Lemonade They brought the cooker with them and cooked the food fresh for us. The staff was amazingly friendly and helped keep drinks and food ready for the guests. The baked beans were probably the most authentic Southern side. The mac n cheese was good but nothing to write home about. The coleslaw and potato salad were pretty standard. Bratwurst was my favorite. Smoked perfectly, tender, no hard chunks :) You can see from previous reviews I'm a fan of ribs. These were tender, fall off the bone great. The sauce is what really made them. The burgers were seasoned reasonably well, I don't usually like burgers but I ate 3! And of course...they brought to go boxes so food didn't go to waste so I took a heaping home. Have eaten many a steak purchased from here but had never been inside until recently. Had the pleasure of speaking with the sweet guy behind the counter who helped me choose some delicious ribeyes. Also got some of their baby back ribs that were already cooked. They gave us instructions and a big cup of sauce and they were perfect! Really enjoyed those. We used our souvide (perfectly cooks your steaks!) for those ribeyes and they were melt in your mouth.
