This florist and experience is probably my worst experience in regards to my entire wedding planning experience . From her staff not communicating and her company not executing what was promised is beyond heartbreaking. On my first encounter with the company we strictly said to them we had a budget of $5,000 because we wanted to leave room for additions once we got what was needed opposed to the things we wanted. Before any flowers are even purchased the company charges $1,000 just to COME OUT TO YOUR WEDDING !!! Still I choose to stick with the company , after sitting with different staff about 5 times we finally came to a contract for about $4,500 Then we added a stage ,sweetheart table and king chairs and a back drop that cost us an additional $2,000 That was when dana the owner herself felt like it was worth doing the florals for my wedding because we were spending more money. (Meanwhile EVERY WEDDING, you should want to be at) Then in addition to the florals and additional Add on's I called and emailed once again to add special carriages and crowns which she charged me $320 then I asked for a THRONE CHAIR and she sent what looked like a chair from the office and charged me $150 for it !!!! To not only add on to this disappointment we asked her to fill in the empty tiers of my wedding cake which was approximately 6 empty tiers and she was sent several pictures of the cake so she knew exactly what was needed and she told us $400 On the day of the wedding the Cake Baker had to reassemble the cake because she did not send enough flowers and then her staff said " she got what she paid for" HOW RUDE!!! IF more flowers were needed her staff could have reached out to my coordinator who was there and money could have been sent cards could babe been charged to make sure THE CUSTOMER IS HAPPY !!! THIS IS THE WORST FLORIST ON LONG ISLAND!! AND IT GOES TO SHOW I EMAILED THE OWNER twice since August 30th and I still have not even received the least as an APOLOGY!!! Booked an all inclusive wedding with the sands and they partnered us with feriani. Worst florist ever. EVERYTHING we asked for was out of budget - and I mean we started scraping bottom of the barrel. Working with Dana was one of the best parts of planning our wedding!! She is so incredibly talented, creative and super sweet. I genuinely can't recommend her enough. She was there to answer our questions every step of the way. She worked within our budget and was very accommodating with it and managed to give us everything we could have wanted with our flower arrangements (and more!). I was recommended to Dana by my banquet manager at Crest Hollow. He spoke of her highly and said both our personalities would work well together and was he right. I met with Dana and told her right away, "I hated flowers." She understood and with explanation of my vision, she worked her magic. She made my wedding look right off of the rich and famous. I was in shocked how beautiful the reception area looked when me and my husband first saw it. It was magnificent. The flowers we received were wilted before the ceremony even began, so much so that my guests mentioned it to me- how embarrassing!! I didn't end up booking with Feriani but the florist that I met with was really engaged in our meeting and I felt that she took down a lot of notes on my vision in terms of reception decor, and flowers for the wedding party. Compared to other vendors I've met with, Feriani's prices are pretty reasonable in my opinion. The only thing that was negative is that I had made an appointment ahead of time, upon entering, there wasn't anyone to greet me so I stumbled into one of the offices with a woman in it. She politely told me to have a seat because the florist was currently meeting with another couple. I ended up waiting an hour past my original appointment time to finally be sat down with the florist. It was a bit irritating because I had other appointments afterwards that day. I'll keep this fairly brief, the flowers for our wedding were very nice but we had issues right before our reception. Our wedding attendants informed us that center pieces were missing while we were fist settling in our bridal suite. Instantly we were thrown into a frantic state - because our PAID for table arrangements were not present. My wife & I lost out on our cocktail hour and 15 minutes of our reception as the Wonderful people at Crest Hollow worked like crazy to rectify Feriani's mistake. Feriani DID come back and fix the issue! But regardless, my wife (the bride) was very upset and distraught on our big day and you don't get those moments back - every other vendor we dealt with was terrific and this was just a shame. read more

DO NOT USE FERIANI FOR YOUR FLORAL DECOR!! Dana is extremely unprofessional, rude, and a horrible business woman. After entering into a contract with her in 2020, for a May 2022 wedding, she decided 6 weeks before the wedding she needed to charge us $50 MORE for EACH centerpiece. Used increased costs due to COVID as the excuse. She did not care that we had a legally binding contract, and that she was in breach of that contract, which is illegal, or that costs ALWAYS go up from the time of signing a contract to the day of the event, (which is why people obtain vendors far in advance)...that's just the cost of doing business in the industry. She absolutely refused to compromise with us and in fact, 2 weeks before the wedding, turned it around and accused US of being rude, she became irate that we were .."bringing this up again" after she dropped this absurd upcharge bombshell on us just a few weeks prior, and pushed a copy of the signed contract at us and said she would walk away and we can .."get another florist". She couldn't understand why were are "doing this to her"... We advised her that we understand costs have gone up - and that in light of that we would be willing to compromise, but she was obstinate, and quite frankly, disgusting. She knew she had us since it was only 2 weeks before the event. Forced us to sign a new contract. Shame on Crest Hollow for their relationship with Dana, forcing customers to use her as a preferred vendor. Our hands were tied and Dana took advantage of that. My name is Thomas Francis, and yes: I am the husband indeed, writing a review on MY experience with Feriani Floral. The whole process with a wedding is burdening, exciting, and LONG; however Dana and her staff makes it a simple and fun endeavor. We were recommended Dana through our family, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. None of this wedding process was about myself (duh), so I wanted my now wife to be extremely satisfied with every piece of the venture. We met Dana first in her lovely corner store: This was great, because ever vendor seems gaudy and overdone; chatting with Dana in her place was like hanging out with an old friend over coffee. We sat down, and Dana and my wife chatted for 28 minutes about the wedding (I know this because I was keeping tabs on a Jet game). When it came time to discuss the flowers, Dana's first question was "What is your vision for the ceremony?". Dana truly wants to know what you want your day to look like, and how to build from that, not someone pushing a bunch of crap on you that don't need. It was awesome and refreshing, because my wife knows exactly what she wanted (she's Italian, she knows what she wants ALL the time). The initial consultation was fun and relaxed, and because I was a good boy, my wife got me a Caramel Frappuccino (WIN). After my wife gave Dana her vision, we were called back a few months before our wedding for the final consultation to see the flower setup. Not only were they EXACTLY what my wife wanted, but Dana hooked it up with some hanging candle things that were AWESOME (she used magic, doesn't cost extra). The centerpiece was ENOURMOUS and beautiful. My wife was ecstatic, which is awesome for me, because it meant that I was possibly going to be brought another Caramel Frappuccino. We also got the card holder from Dana, which she gladly painted for us to match the theme for the wedding. Dana is awesome, and goes above and beyond, and will make your wife extremely happy (IMPORTANT). When you see these bouquets she creates, it's almost comical to see. They are MASSIVE, and gorgeous. Every dollar you spend, is well worth it. Your bridesmaids eyes will pop when see them, and they cannot believe how awesome they are. Advise your ladies to hit the gym beforehand; Dana doesn't give you three flowers and send you on your way, oh no. She goes big and beautiful, and everyone will want to check these flowers out. No joke, I was able to hit a few bicep curls while we were taking pictures. You really get your monies worth here. So the day of the wedding comes, and we are having Dana also hook up the church with flowers. Our church FAILS to inform us (even though we asked 34985472978 times) that we cannot tape up the flowers to the pews. When I walk into the church, one of the guests alerts me to this, and I begin sweating like I was doing Hot Yoga in my attic. Dana's staff comes right up however, and is like "NBD Status!!!" (No big deal, for the non-initiated) and one of the girls procures a ton of rubber bands from her satchel like a female Macgyver. This is why you want Dana's team, 'cause they are better prepared than a bunch of Boy Scouts. My wife comes down the aisle, I blubber like I was watching the Notebook, and we are whisked off to the reception. We hit cocktail hour, and everyone is having a sweet time. My wife and I decide to go poke our heads into the reception hall and check out the flowers and what not. Remember when Willy Wonka first opens the door to the chocolate factory??? It was that feeling; my wife runs inside to the flowers, just like how Augustus Glop stormed through the door to the chocolate river. The centerpieces are outrageous, massive and glorious. The sweetheart table so elegant and the flowers placed on it are beautiful. The flowers lined on our wedding cake are stylized in a way that shouts simple, yet tasteful and aesthetic. It was perfect, and throughout the night, everyone keep repeating "ERMAHGAWD, DAH FLOWURS". Yes, we know. We got the best to do them. Here in lies the one problem, however. Towards the end of the night, your guests will begin sizing up each other. You aren't sure what is going on, but you quickly figure it out: Aunt Sara is trying to figure out how she is gonna snatch up this enormous centerpiece before cousin Jessica realizes what Sara is doing. Quickly suggest that all parties at the table MUST participate in an Arm Wrestling Tournament, a la "Over the Top" style and have your maître d' referee it. It'll be totally satisfying to see elderly women arm wrestle each other to death for the prize of the night. So, the short, TL;DR: Dana and her staff is awesome and a bunch of floral crackpots. Go see her, win your wedding day with amazing flowers, and now all your family will treat you like an adult, because you make awesome decisions. read more

My daughter had a certain vision in her head for her Sweet 16 but could not exactly convey what she was envisioning. Dana took her time, spoke with her, made suggestions and really listened to her, making my daughter feel like her vision could come true. Well.....lo and behold when we walked into the room we were both speechless! It was spectacular, amazing, beyond anything we could have imagined, it actually brought tears to my eyes to see the look of utter amazement on my daughter's face. It was perfect! We used Feriani for our wedding on 9/28. Our flowers were beautiful and exactly what we were picturing! They were very adaptive to change when we changed by flower design a few weeks before the wedding. We provided a picture of the type of look that we wanted and they were able to emulate it perfectly! They were also very professional and responsive to email which we appreciated. 4 stars are only given because of the cost of the flowers. We hired dana for my brother's wedding. We got referred to her by crest hollow. She promised us one thing but on the day of the wedding the floral arrangements were completely the opposite of what we asked. We called her immediately to change the table arrangements, but she threw such a fit and was extremely unprofessional. We had to tell her to leave because she was yelling at her own clients. She could take no criticism for her work. And the worst of it all, was she left the wedding cake without any designs. How could a person with any kind of professional background leave a cake without decorating it? Worst florist ever. Will never recommend. She wants all of her money upfront, but didn't even complete the entire job. Unbelievable. I OPENED A YELP ACCOUNT FOR THIS REVIEW!!! Ok so let me start out by saying I am a very cool, calm and collected person, even tried to maintain that persona as a bride. I had booked with Crest Hollow Country Club, they recommended that you use 1 of their 5 florists due to past issues. Ok, no problem, narrows my choice down, I like it. My wedding was 9/8/18, I met with Feriani as my 3rd choice somewhere in may 2018, the other 2 options were a little pricey. I met with Danielle for my first visit, after we had priced everything out, they were a little above my budget. I was getting a Bridal Bouquet with a cascade in the flowers. Danielle recommended that I downsize everyone's bouquet to get the price down to what I was looking for. (My bouquet to MOH, MOH to bridesmaid and bridesmaid to JR bridesmaid). I asked if I could still have it cascade in a MOH bouquet. Sure no problem she says. My 2nd visit I went and I met with Christine. This visit had me wanting to bang my head off the table. I only wanted 3 colors in my flowers, mainly burgundy with ivory and blush accents. She kept asking if I wanted red flowers, and would name what flower she was thinking of using, but in the color red. I kept explaining I didn't want red but I would like burgundy. She even at one point said I know you don't like red, but how about (insert flower she named), I said "I dont want red, does that same flower come in burgundy?" to which she replied..."Yes". So I'm confused as to why she kept bringing up Red when i Specifically only wanted burgundy, with ivory and blush accents in everything. She eventually got what I like to call is a cheat sheet of the flowers names and what colors they come in. She still kept asking "what about this flower in red?", to which i replied, "does it not come in burgundy?" and she would look at said cheat sheet and say "oh yes it does". I'm really not understanding what she wasn't understanding. I never even said the word red while in the office with her. Everything, meaning the petals, down the aisle, the centerpieces, all bouquets, the flowers for my flower girls, the boutonnieres...EVERYTHING I wanted in those 3 colors. In spite of everything, I booked my 3rd visit hoping that everything that I asked for would be correct. My 3rd visit comes around and I may have met with Dana. Very sweet, willing to work with me on everything. She shows me my trial centerpiece, let me tell you THERE WAS NO BURGUNDY ANYWHERE IN THAT CENTERPIECE. She quickly made something come together, which I still had to use my imagination for for the missing flowers that she thought would work in the piece (my wedding being in 2 weeks at this point). But it was sufficient enough for me, I had faith they would get it right the day of the wedding. I sit down to do the final bill and she doesn't mention my cascading MOH bouquet (remember I had downsized everyone's bouquet) turns out YOU CANNOT CASCADE A MOH BOUQUET, there aren't enough flowers to cascade. This is my 3RD VISIT, 3RD. I was told this would be possible. So I sigh in disappointment and frustration and I splurged and ended up getting the bouquet I wanted, hey you only get married once right? At least I'm finding this out now and not the day of my wedding. Day of my wedding. A lady comes to drop all flowers off at my house. She quickly lists what I have and I just make sure everyone important has what they need. (i'm in the middle of getting my hair and make up done). After she left, my MOH notices that my bridal bouquet in't cascading. Now I'm livid, After everything, this is the DAY OF MY WEDDING and this was the one thing i actually wanted. I called Dana and she didn't even know what to say, She kept telling me it was cascading, I said you need to send whoever dropped these flowers off back here to come look. The lady comes back and low and behold it is NOT cascading. She told me she would "try" to fix it to which at this point I am beyond frustrated and replied "You ARE going to fix it, not try, I don't like try". After 45 min of her re pinning the flowers, the bouquet became as cascading as it will be in a last minute rush. BUT all day the flowers kept falling out. I have no idea if this is normal, but in my thoughts if your'e paying for an expensive bouquet it should last right? Mine was falling apart in the limo on OUR WAY to the ceremony. I was NOT happy. I'm giving them 3 stars because without a doubt my end flowers were beautiful, my centerpieces did have burgundy in them, everyone's flowers looked great, my bouquet even with the hiccup was stunning, but it did fall apart, luckily you only use it for 2hrs. Like I said I'm very laid back, so if this had been anyone else I feel they wouldn't have been as patient as I was. If I could go back, I would've went with flowers by Brian, they seemed to be more professional and on point with how a bride would feel. read more

I used Feriani Floral for my wedding on February 25, 2017 at crest hollow. After checking out the other house vendors I decided to work w Dana because the price was right and her show room was beautiful. From a wide variety of over the top to simple and elegant there is certainly something for every taste. I'm not a big flower person so I needed all the help and advice I could get when making my selections. Dana went above and beyond for me. I told her what I wanted and she produced that and more. All night I got compliments on my arrangements, many people asked me to keep the centerpieces because how gorgeous they were. If I ever needed flowers again I would go there no questions asked. I would also recommend this company to anyone getting married and looking for amazing work at a great price. My flowers made the trip from Long Island to Brooklyn, back to Long Island. I was very skeptical at first because my fiance and I only met with Dana three times before our wedding. The first time was the consultation and Dana was very patient with us. She showed us many pics from her site and instagram and she listened to what we wanted. I think she spent an hour chatting with us and explaining things to us. She never rushed us and would joke around with us. Second time we went back was when we decided to choose Dana as our florist. My fiance and I showed her pics I have seen online of the type of bouquets that I liked and she wrote down notes for all of them. Dana was absolutely amazing. She told us if we want any changes to contact her anytime and that we did not have to rush. We could change the styles of our centerpieces up to a week before the wedding as long as she has not ordered the flowers yet. The third time we met Dana was to see a sample of the centerpiece. I did not quite like the ratio of the white to colored flowers and I told Dana. She said no problem she would just switch the ratio of the flowers around. My fiance picked the stand to hold the centerpiece and it seemed a little bit off. Dana stepped right in and said no problem and showed us a tall tapering glass vase and told us what she would do to accentuate it. I thought I was going to see a sample of my bridal bouquet but apparently those are really expensive so florists don't make samples of those. Nonetheless, of course I was a bit worried because I don't get to see my bouquet and my fiance and I kinda changed everything around with our centerpieces. I had my fiance email Dana if she could should us a sample of the floral centerpieces. We then saw a centerpiece at our venue that looked gorgeous too so my fiance took a pic and emailed it to Dana asking if she could make out centerpieces look like the pic. Dana had no problem changing it but it turns out the flowers used for the centerpieces were quite different. Dana did ask us if we wanted to switch it out. My fiance put his faith in Dana and just replied to her, do what she thinks will make the flowers beautiful. On the day of the wedding, I saw my bouquet for the first time. OMG it was huge. It was not those skimpy little bouquets with just a dozen flowers in there but many dozens of flowers. It was ginormous!!! It was so pretty with the roses, babys breath, lisanthias, calla lillies and some crystals strategically placed. My bouquet was WOW! I loved it! When I walked out to the ceremony, it was beautiful! More than what I could imagine. Dana hit it out of the park. She really takes what you say to her and incorporates it into her pieces of art and gives you a masterpiece at the end. I highly recommend her. If you want your flowers to look gorgeous and centerpieces to stand out. She is the one for you. Everything was beautiful. A lot of my guests wanted to take the whole entire centerpiece with the vases home. I couldn't ask for more. Dana gave us exactly what we wanted. I placed an an order on March 11, 2015, for fresh Gladiolus flowers for my daughter's wedding. The flowers were to be delivered on April 2, 2014. On April 2, 2015, I still had not received the order so I called to check on the status. After much confusion on the company's part I was finally told that the shipment of Gladiolus that they had received were damaged so they sent me Snapdragon Flowers instead which are a much cheaper flower. Even though I expressed that was not what I wanted and I would have cancelled the order had I known prior to such date, I was assured that the flowers were good quality and I would be happy with them. The Snapdragons arrived the next day but looked very small and poor quality. I cut the flowers and waited for them to open as instructed. Once the flowers started to open a couple of days later they started falling apart but at that point I had no alternative for the wedding arrangements that were needed the next day which was April 5, 2014. The flowers had been cut and treated properly after they were received and were also kept very cool. I called and called and called some lady whom claimed to be the owner brushed me off and said this is the best they can do.. I paid over 5,000 dollars to them to have a wedding done!! they refused to refund me any portion of my order because I didn't call within weeks of the event. However, there was no way I could have known that the flowers were such poor quality until the party and fall apart during the party! LIARS HORRIBLE SERVICE!! If too cheap it ain't true!! If you don't know how to be in a service related business than don't be involved! Ran around all day! Besides flowers being in poor condition the stands were created cheap!
